A churchgoer shot a fellow parishioner in a Pennsylvania church after a fight broke out over a seat in the sanctuary on Sunday, authorities say.
The argument started when a churchgoer told Robert Braxton III, 27, he was sitting in seats reserved for two other church members during Sunday service at the Keystone Fellowship Church, district attorney Kevin Steele said.

So glad I’m Catholic when I see this stupidity.

Holding one’s hands palm up toward the sky is a common custom during prayer in some charismatic churches, but toward the pulpit, stage, pastor, master of ceremonies (whatever they call it)? Looks weird. Then again it also looks like the kind of church that considers a mosh pit ride to be a laying on of hands.

The gun-toting suspect then flashed a Concealed Weapons Permit badge, which the district attorneys office belives was purchased online. Moron

Wrong way to solve that kind of problem. Oh man... And, by the way, it WAS a real gun. Stupid conversation.

Something about this story tells me this was not a spontaneous incident. Like these two parties or families had a feud of some kind going on, and one of them intentionally parked his butt where the others were known to sit, and......
Just a gut hunch.

It happened last Sunday April 24th in North Wales, PA. This article gives more detail about the altercation.
The guy didn't deserve to die, but he sat in a seat or seats meant for others, and used foul language in a house of worship. He was just ignorant, rude, and unfortunately met up with someone...armed and capable of snapping.

Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people--robbers, evildoers, adulterers--or even like this tax collector.
