Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.

It’s not surprising. There is a trend of so-called evangelicals who are practicing this stuff. The “Together” rally in DC in 2016 was exactly this mindset. I don’t follow Catholicism any longer because it’s doctrine is ripe with unbiblical beliefs (I say this as a former Catholic). Francis has been peddling his “come home” campaigns towards Protestants, and many mainline denominations have bought into it. I believe this is a sign of the times as we move towards the coming One World Religion.

This is a beautiful Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus!

Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

I. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you." Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of...... (here name your request) Our Father....Hail Mary....Glory Be to the Father....Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

II. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." Behold, in your name, I ask the Father for the grace of.......(here name your request) Our Father...Hail Mary....Glory Be To the Father....Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

III. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away." Encouraged by your infallible words I now ask for the grace of.....(here name your request) Our Father....Hail Mary....Glory Be to the Father...Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of you, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your tender Mother and ours. Say the Hail, Holy Queen and add: St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.

-- St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

The pope met with a well-known evangelical and other religious heads to “come together” (make other religions more like catholics - no reverse adoption of faith happening). Sadly, for evangelicals, this is most likely the start of the “one world religion” prophesied in the bible that will hold sway during the tribulation. Fortunately, the evangelicals can act independently so not all faith will be lost and the one world religion will not net everyone.
What is underhanded is that, while some pastors told their flocks what they were going to do (morph into catholicism), others are in stealth mode in order to avoid
“upsetting” anyone.

Francis has been peddling his “come home” campaigns towards Protestants

The people who want Protestants to "come home" are Catholics who actually believe in Catholicism.

On the other hand, there's plenty of evidence that Francis thinks Protestants are better Christians than Catholics are. In fact, there's plenty of evidence that faithful Catholics are the only people for which Francis has real disdain.

You left the Catholic Church. Francis is busily destroying it from the inside out.

Not knowing what *kind* of Catholic you are/were, but a question is: just how much Catholic education/knowledge did you have? Makes a difference in one’s viewpoint.

[ I came over from Protestant. How little did I know.
I wasn’t an automatic Catholic by birth.

It was wonderful to learn and gain faith and learn and gain faith. Nothing like it !

I went to CCD all through middle and high school. I was confirmed and married in the church. We went through Catholic premarital counseling. My wife graduated from a Jesuit college. I seriously thought about becoming a priest, and visited a seminary in high school. I was an altar boy for years. I went to Mass every Sunday into my 30s. What else would you like to know?

If any of that was in the last 50 years, it means nothing in terms of what you actually know. You’ve proven this on multiple occasions.

No, I wasn’t alive in the 50s. What specifically don’t I know?

I believe this is a sign of the times as we move towards the coming World Religion.

It is as clear as a bell that you are right. It is prophesized, so it must come to past, but it is awful to see. I wonder if these pastors are globalist plants to begin with? So much of the Church has become dumbed down with feel goodism it is a wonder that there are so many true Christians. It is only by God's grace.

I don’t keep a list, but I could have.

So you make a charge, and then can’t back it up. I figured as much.

“...many mainline denominations have bought into it.”

And therein lies the problem. These denominations tend to be very liberal theologically. As in thinking it is okay to be gay, for example. That said, why would anyone want to adhere to Catholicism when it is so anti-biblical with its teachings and traditions? It’s a mystery to me.

As a former Catholic, you will always be a Catholic. The mark of your baptism does not leave your soul.

You are just an in active Catholic at this time in your life. All you need to do is to sit down with a priest and get your questions answered.
