  • Documentarian Discovers Some Unusual Shots in His Jan. 6 Footage That Blow up the Dem Narrative

Documentarian Ford Fischer rediscovered some video from the riot on Jan. 6 that’s raising a lot of questions. It also puts a big crimp in the narrative of the Jan. 6 Committee. He has a picture and video of Capitol Police Lieutenant Tarik Johnson leading Oathkeepers into the building, then wearing a MAGA hat and yelling into a bullhorn, leading more of them out. *** Now, this has been reported before, albeit not widely. But Johnson said he appealed to Oathkeepers who were outside to help get some of his fellow officers out who were trapped in the building. Where...

Conservatives Shocked Without Proof About Jan. 6 Are Naive and Inviting Manipulation. Across my street in a poorly lit space, I watched a nearly invisible, shadowy figure, suddenly disappear into complete darkness. (It's something that shouldn't be going on when people who live here are behaving honestly.) If I don't really want to know what's going on, I can use the image of "nothing there" as an excuse to turn away, close the door, and pretend that everything is just fine. The shadow in the Jan. 6 picture is that, if Conservatives can be counted on to be shocked by...

Speaker Pelosi’s dream of relitigating the January 6th Capitol riots until the mid-term elections is over. The U.S. Senate just delivered a back-breaking rejection of the “independent” commission that was hand-selected by Nancy Pelosi. “A crucial Senate vote on a bill to create an independent inquiry to investigate the deadly January 6 Capitol Hill riot failed Friday, falling short of the 10 Republican votes needed to advance and illustrating GOP efforts to move on from the insurrection that left five people dead and injured 140 police officers,” CNN reported. “The vote was 54 to 35, showing the bill had a...

Thou art my portion, O Lord, Alleluia, in the land of the living, Alleluia, Alleluia.—Bring forth my soul out of prison, to confess to thy Name; in the land of the living, Alleluia, Alleluia.—Glory and honor be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, world without end, Amen: in the land of the living, Alleluia, Alleluia. Such is the opening chant for the departed, in the Mozarabic Missal. With the Greeks, in like manner, no word is of more frequent recurrence in the Office of the Dead, than the Alleluia. Moreover, both Greece and...

So I tune into to the Zimmerman trial and watching the closing arguments I can't help but think this whole thing is contrived. The prosecutor, in his closing, is presenting possibilities of theories, multiple, and asking the jury to choose from some weird buffet of the circumstances. When you want to make your case you are specific in your accusation and theory of what exactly happened. This is the weirdest closing I have ever seen. When you close, in prosecuting, you claim very specifically what happened not some bland, rambling, theory. He is presenting a variety of scenarios by inference....

Minnesota Republican and tea party favorite Michele Bachmann has beaten Democrat Tarryl Clark in the nation's most expensive U.S. House race. Bachmann wins a third term after raising more than $11 million and spending at least $8.8 million. Her prodigious fundraising paid for months of negative TV ads painting Clark as a tax-and-spender.

As expected, Democrat El Tinklenberg is going to take another shot at Republican U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann next year. The former Blaine mayor and state transportation commissioner visited the state Capitol pressroom Monday to tell reporters he's definitely running in the 6th District congressional race. Tinklenberg challenged Bachmann last year and narrowly lost, 46 percent to 43 percent, with an Independence Party candidate getting 10 percent of the vote.

A physician who ran for lieutenant governor three years ago will make a run for Congress in Minnesota's Sixth District next year. Dr. Maureen Reed, who ran as an Independence Party candidate in the 2006 gubernatorial race, said she plans to file as a DFL candidate for the seat currently held Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann, who is serving her second term. In doing so, she will be facing off against Elwyn Tinklenberg, Bachmann's 2008 opponent, who said today he's planning a third run for the seat....

WHILE my assignment was to write about Minnesota’s important Senate race, I think there’s more to be learned right now from the far closer contest in Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District, which borders Minneapolis-St. Paul to the east, north and west. The race, between Michele Bachmann, the Republican, and Patty Wetterling, the Democrat, has revealed a Bush-era national trend now visible locally. That is, we are facing a choice between a “conservative” who wants to institute radical reforms and a “progressive” who wishes largely to maintain the status quo. In Minnesota’s Sixth District, liberalism is the new conservatism.

After seven ballots, Patty Wetterling won the Democratic endorsement Saturday to oppose state Sen. Michele Bachmann in Minnesota's 6th Congressional District. Wetterling, who built a national reputation as an advocate for laws protecting children and helping authorities keep track of sex offenders, defeated Elwyn Tinklenberg, a former Blaine mayor and state transportation commissioner. Each candidate had promised not to run in a September nominating primary if he or she did not win the endorsement. In addition to Bachmann, Wetterling will face Independence Party candidate John Binkowski of St. Mary's Point. During about four hours of balloting, Tinklenberg never substantially cut...

Michele Bachmann, a fiery social conservative who calls herself a "woman on a mission," easily won endorsement Saturday to be the Republican candidate in the Minnesota's 6th Congressional District. Meeting at Monticello High School, Republican convention delegates gave Bachmann their endorsement on the third ballot. Bachmann, a state senator from Stillwater, got 61 percent of the vote, just over the number required for endorsement. But she was not strongly challenged by any of her three opponents. Delegates then voted to make the endorsement unanimous. State Rep. Jim Knoblach of St. Cloud, Minn., was second to Bachmann with 21 percent. State...

ST. PAUL (AP) - For more than a year, Tom Thompson has read the glossy brochures, taken the phone calls and even received personal visits from the Republicans fighting for the party's backing in the 6th Congressional District. On Saturday, Thompson and 324 other party delegates will narrow the field of four to one. State Sen. Michele Bachmann is leading in a hard-fought race that also includes businessman Jay Esmay and state Reps. Jim Knoblach and Phil Krinkie. But the endorsing convention at Monticello High School could get unpredictable if Bachmann doesn't clear the 60 percent threshold needed for an...

Child safety advocate Patty Wetterling announced today she will run for Congress in the 6th District. The move comes two weeks after Wetterling bowed out of the U.S. Senate race after a lackluster performance in terms of key endorsements and fundraising. "Everything has changed. The world has changed. I have changed,'' Wetterling said. Last April Wetterling said she would not win in the district. "That was really dumb,'' she of that statement. Wetterling will challenge former state transportation commissioner Elwyn Tinklenberg for the Democratic nomination. Tinklenberg criticized Wetterling's entry into the race because she had previously reassured him she would...

AL ANBAR, Iraq (Oct. 5, 2005) -- The 6th Civil Affairs Group has taken over operations from 5th CAG and has constructed additional plans for the future of Iraq's economic development. Health care, education, electricity and water works, and many other facets essential to the infrastructure of the country are already under way. "The work done by 5th CAG was a great stepping stone to further governance in Al Anbar," said Col. Miles Burdine, government suport team commanding officer. "We are taking some of their initiatives and adding our own to help rebuild the government and encourage Iraqi leadership to...

August 6th marked the 60th anniversary of America’s use of an atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. While some still argue that President Truman’s decision to use the A-bomb was “controversial,” they are afflicted with the scourge of our time, the loss of a sense of moral proportion and certainty. Unfortunately, those with relativistic morals will lead us to see the day when nuclear weapons are used again – this time to end once and for all the barbaric savagery of Islamism. Green Left Weekly (GLW) calls the U.S. putting a swift end to WWII – using atomic...
