Shortly after his release from the hospital, a suspect in last Friday's fatal shooting on Wilson Street has been arrested. Police say 24-year-old Larry Adams was shot in the neck by the homeowner while he and an accomplice tried to rob the man at gunpoint. Akron Police Lt. Rick Edwards says Adams was taken into custody at his home in Cleveland without incident. "Adams was charged with murder, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence and receiving stolen property," Edwards explains. A homeowner shot and killed a man who broke into her Northeast Side house early Tuesday morning, police said. Toni Hanes, 50, told police she was awakened by the sound of her bedroom door being kicked in around 3:30 a.m. in the 4800 block of Castle Path Drive, according to a police incident report. A homeowner shot and killed an intruder before dawn yesterday in Victorville, according to San Bernardino County sheriff's officials. "The male suspect had broken into the residence while the occupants slept," according to the statement. "They were alerted to the intruder by their dogs. Bridgeport, Conn. (WTNH) - Police say a Bridgeport restaurant owner shot and killed one of two men who tried to hold up his establishment Sunday night. The shooting happened at Peking Restaurant on Wade Street around 9:30pm. The deceased has been identified as 21-year old Allen Dixon of Bridgeport.
