Tulsa, Okla. — A homeowner opens fire after he finds three men trying to break into his barn early Sunday morning. Tulsa police say it happened around 2:35 a.m., near 17th and Memorial. The homeowner heard a noise and went outside to investigate. Police say the suspects were attempting to break inside the barn when they were discovered. A burglar is thought to be lying dead in a Leeds sewer after going on the run underground. The man and an accomplice escaped after police went to investigate a break-in at a set of commercial buildings near the city centre. One is thought to have run off above ground, but the other is believed to have clambered into the sewerage system under Hope Road, off Mabgate near West Yorkshire Playhouse. LORAIN — Marlo Sanford, 24, one of two men shot Tuesday afternoon in Central Lorain, was the shooter in both cases, according to Lorain police. Sanford, has been arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, and felonious assault, Lt. Mark Carpentiere said. FEBRUARY 3--A naked burglar covered in chocolate and peanut butter was arrested early Tuesday after workers found him inside a Kentucky supermarket. Andrew Toothman, 22, was collared by State Police troopers who responded to a 911 call from the Food World IGA market in the city of Neon (pop. 770). Pictured in the above mug shot, Toothman was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and indecent exposure. A court citation filed yesterday notes that Toothman--who was only wearing a pair of black boots--had “peanut butter and chocolate smeared all over person.”
