When the average Joe ends up with a couple of thousand dollars more of take home pay, try explain to him that he is looting the treasury and needs to give it back and pay more.
    Run on that, rats.

Sorry Jonah. The last thing you ever did that I agreed with is when you wrote Liberal Fascism. You have been a dud ever since.

You should be rallying the troops, rather than dividing them.

I grew up with Goldwater and Reagan and deemed them as honorable men, you are not.

I read every WFB,Jr. book I could get my hands on when I was young. You and your ilk has destroyed National Review in my eyes.

Despite all my “conservative friends” advise, I voted for President Trump because it would prevent Hillary from getting her filthy hands on the judiciary. I am more than pleased at what President Trump has accomplished.

I wasn’t all in for President Trump at the beginning, yet he has accomplished more for the conservative cause since Reagan, if not more. Goldwater said that he didn’t come to pass new laws, but to eliminate them.

Trump is doing that. He is returning power back to the States, rather than isolating it in the Feds. Small government and States rights used to be clarion call of the Republican Party along with the 1st and 2nd Amendment.

I am a conservative, Jonah, you are not. Where did you go wrong?

The leaders of our country need training to teach them not to hold staff meetings in their undershorts?

Do they need a mommy to hold a seminar to teach them to keep their hands to themselves?

Should they be spanked and told they should know better?
This is the legacy of Slick Willy, Admiral Ted Kennedy of the USS Oldsmobile with his waitress sandwich partner Chris Dodd, JFK, LBJ etc.

Make sure you take out all the potted plants out of your offices, also.

I am a grown up, they aren’t going to humor me with this stupid nonsense.

I supported GW until he fought to have the Patriot Act passed.

Opposite of everything I believed in. Nothing else he did after that could possibly change my mind.

In a political science class while in college that idea was espoused by the professor, extreme left = communism, extreme right = fascism. I was amazed that something so illogical could be taught.

I asked him, “So two totalitarian ideologies occupy both extremes of the political spectrum and freedom is somewhere in the middle?
Next you will tell me that the color black is at opposite ends of the color spectrum and white is somewhere in the middle?”

I struggled with that professor for an entire semester.

  • How to Debate an Atheist

I rarely engage in a discussion with an atheist about the existence of God, unless I am forced. A couple of weeks ago it happened on another board and I became tired of the ridicule from this "science" scholar. I asked him a simple question, "So you believe in spontaneous generation"? Which he replied in the negative. I went on further: Life comes from life. It happens multiplied millions of times a day and it is indisputable. A farmer plants seeds and they grow, animals, insects and every form of life springs from life. That is called biogenesis. I have never seen it happen any other way. Therefore, In the Beginning, Life. I call that life, "God". Now, I asked him, the newest theory is abiogenesis. I have searched for a long time to find one example to support this theory, perhaps you can provide an example? After that, came a flurry of insults. As far as scientists, I use this quote: "As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear-headed science, the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." .....Max Planck (1858-1947) Father of Quantum Physics

Here is Mussolini’s take on keynesian economics. I posted it over there with no response:

“Fascism entirely agrees with Mr. Maynard Keynes, despite the latter’s prominent position as a Liberal. In fact, Mr. Keynes’ excellent little book, The End of Laissez-Faire
(l926) might, so far as it goes, serve as a useful introduction to fascist economics. There is scarcely anything to object to in it and there is much to applaud.”

As quoted from Mussolini’s review of Keynes’ new book in Universal Aspects of Fascism, James Strachey Barnes, Williams and Norgate, London: UK, (1928) pp. 113-114

Well, have all my tomatoes and peppers planted in buckets. They soil in Az suks on the Mogollon rim. Made a raised garden with turnips, squash and some beans. Planted a row of beans, and the hot sun is drying them out even after watering twice a day.
Zucchini, squash, and cucumbers doing fine despite the cats using most of my garden as a litter box.
Planted some beets in boxes and are doing well.
The weather has been horendous. Way too hot, in the upper 90s. Waiting for the monsoons to start.
It’s supposed to cool off tomorrow.

Thank you for saying that. I agree 100%. If crime is allowed in prison, it only enforces that type of behavior once they are released to the outside.
It is a filthy, immoral and satanic crime. Nobody claiming any modicum of morals should support such filth.
The failure of the state to eliminate such abuse is a travesty.

It is a good start in striving for party purity, Dicky, but I fear that it does not go far enough.
Perhaps a requirement to wear an armband while out in public would be a sign of party purity.
You could have something like “INGSOC” emblazoned on it to openly show your loyalty. Of course, the ruling council should decide the proper dress code.
A uniform would be a nice touch.

I use a Net 10 phone(flip phone), cost $20.00. I buy a phone card for $25.00 a month and is good for 1000 minutes. I rarely come close to using that many minutes in a month.
I don’t go online at all with it, although you can.
When you run out, you run out and turns off until you refill it.
Have used it for years, took out the landline and am saving money.

For many decades, I have disrespected politicians. I can only think of two politicians that I would have considered statesman, that would be Goldwater and Reagan.
Years ago, I had a couple in my congregation that had a multitude of cats and dogs in the house that were not cared for and the house smelled like a litter box.
They would come to church and they smelled just like their house.
They didn’t notice the smell, but everyone else did.
Such are politicians. They get into Washington and are there so long, they don’t realize that they stink.

We need to stop electing lifetime politicians to office, have term limits for politicians and apply the same standards to bureaucrats.

Put me on your ping list, please.
Like you, I am spending time canning meat. Turkeys were pretty cheap this year, and I bought 3. There is only the two of us, so I have canned the leftovers. Still have one left in the freezer.
Gathered up all the green tomatoes (small) from what I had and the neighbor and made a batch of green salsa.
The soil where I am is really poor and rocky (in the mountains) and I will be planning on how to improve the situation.
