With all the recent moves by the feds regarding bail outs and the cash they are giving away. I find myself just overwhelmed by the moves they are making and the implications of these moves. Some of my questions are “Does the Federal government now “OWN” the US banking system”? If so, where does that leave the “FED”. Or does the FED now own the US banking system? More to the point, who owns the banking system? Do they also “OWN” the auto business? Same kind of questions. Are any freepers out there able to sum up these moves in...

Firearms scare almost everybody. But no demographic gets more wiggy about handguns, shotguns, and rifles than journalists. Dear Sir, Recently I went to a "gun show". I tried to buy a gun. The FBI, NICS's system failed. I was not denied, I was delayed................................for two days. An interesting observation on the 2000 presidential election. I am unaware of anybody tying the election results to unemployment statistics so I thought I would. The standard red/blue map we have all seen over and over again. Unemployment rates in the USA by county I think it is fascinating to notice how closely the two line up. High unemployment seems to indicate Democratic voters. The only exception to this seems to be the "Deep South". I watched it carefully, I saw Gore strike out as a leader. But I also saw the lame side of what he said. I have watched CNN for many years. I saw the change in CNN over "Desert Storm" , We were giving our tactics away so, as you can understand we have to censor the media, ok. But after that the "censoring" never stopped. One after another whitehouse press representitives quit the whitehouse and then moved on to be exec's to the media.
