Ted Sampley was a Viet Nam Veteran, and activist for POW/MIA's and he stood with us at Walter Reed on 30 September 2005 when Rolling Thunder paid us a visit. Ted and I became friends with the common thread being our complete and total hatred of code pink. BETHEL, Vermont) -- The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of explosives from a granite quarry in the town of Bethel. Police say the theft occurred overnight Wednesday at the Rock of Ages quarry. The investigation has shown that the suspects broke in through a locked gate and then broke into several buildings. Police says that in addition to explosives, the suspects stole power equipment. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the state police in Royalton.
