  • Arizona Sheriff Says He Won't Enforce New Immigration Law

The law has a provision that allows anyone to sue law enforcement if they dont enforce the law. You can not catch and release period!

Our Sheriffs are elected and have a good amount of power but the law was made to punish exactly this kind of behavior, in fact I would guess that they had this guy in mind when they wrote it.

Cant wait to see the first protest march in August in the 118 deg heat.

For the western US solar may prove efficient if these panels become widely available.

    http://www.nanosolar.com/

Solar at 1/5 the cost of current panels.

In the long run they could be 1/10 the cost, so this will be a really big deal in locations with lots of land and sunlight like AZ.

I hate to tell you but you need to look at some of your other ideas. If they involve the government “fixing” thing you can count on failure.

Fuel cells cost way way too much for auto use and the filling problem can’t be solved cheaply but the government will spend billions on the idea and it will prove to be a failure unless all of us want to drive $200,000 cars.

Electric cars are viable in the short run, the Chevy Volt will be here in 2 years. I call them the “Coal Cars” just to make the lefties head spin.

    http://gm-volt.com/

It looks like we will have around 2 to 3 years of high fuel cost until many new wells come online in both the USA and Brazil.

Unless the Government helps then it could be 10 years.

“Of the nearly 300,000 curriculum students in community colleges statewide, 112 are illegal immigrants, according to the latest state figures.”

There is no way that this number is correct.

There is a 100% chance that out of 300,000 students at least 3% are illegal and have fake papers that are not being checked.

The real number if true would be more around 1000 to 2000 students.

The state numbers just show that 112 illegals are just too lazy to get fake papers.

It should go 40 miles on the non toxic LI batteries from A123 systems.

    http://www.a123systems.com/

There are no heavy metals in a LI battery. I do wish that they were made in the USA but they are made in China, our new masters.

Note to the government. “We need a few large LI battery plants in the USA, please exempt them from all taxes for ten years if they move here”

The car will have about a 300 mile range, not 600 miles, on a 7 gallon tank.

It will be fun to see the left try to make electric twice as expensive with out pissing all the people off at the same time. We all know that we can build power plants and nuke plants so there is just no excuse not to have electric.

If everyone is pissed at the same time perhaps they won’t vote for the dummies that are stopping us from build power plants.

There is also a great solar cell that is truly cost effective. It should make power for .03 to .05 per KWh.

    http://www.nanosolar.com/

If you can have (In AZ) solar cells make power for .05 then how can they charge .15 per KWh?

I’m a Carpet Cleaner in Phoenix and the same thing happens here.

Re-post your add and get over it.

I bet there is a 100% chance that the person complaining is over posting his listing like all the other carpet cleaners, he thinks he owns the place and this guy thinks he is special so he hires a lawyer.

For free you get what you pay for.

    I’m glad he wasted $11,000.

If Tesla motor car company goes under in the first few years the collectors value for the first few thousand cars built will be enormous.

Even if they make it, the early cars will be huge collectors items.

    Rich people can’t loose sometimes.

“And yes, if you’re foolish enough to run out of juice far from a charging station, you’ll get stuck.”

It can also use a 110V charger so you can plug it in anywhere.

I do not believe at all in the global B/S or almost any of the environmental silliness bur electric cars are and always have been a great idea for a lot of people.

1)They make no smog in the city.

This allows us to displace the smog to outside the city. I see no other way to rid the city of smog. If anyone has better idea on how to rid all the non coastal cities of their smog problem please let me know. Right now the left want to force us all onto trains which would be better?

2)An electric car in the USA is really a coal car. Coal is cheep and most of it is from USA mines. It also creates competition in the oil market for the first time in 90 years.
So do you want to burn imported oil today or USA coal? For the first time you will now have a choice.

3)Electric cars are about 3 time more efficient. A ICE burning gas is at tops 27% efficient and the Tesla car motor is about 90% efficient. There has never been any disagreement here.

4)Electric motors have around 3 moving parts that could last for a million miles if made right. The Tesla car has a single speed transmission. The motor does most of the breaking so the breaks will last for many years.

The only real wear item is the batteries and the next gen of LI batteries should me much less expensive and WILL have 2 to 3 times the life span.

GM is also making the Volt electric car,a full sized 4 door sedan. It has a built in generator that will allow for 300 mile range at full power on gas at 50MPG. Coming for real in 2010.

Tesla was one of the greatest inventors of all time. He invented the multi phase A/C motor!

The basic design has not changed much in 75 years. It was a giant leap from the DC motor it is hard to explain.

The high voltage transformer in all CRT displays are modified Tesla coils. Before this making high voltage was almost imposable.

We had DC power lines with short range and no easy way of changing voltage before Tesla proved that A/C was better.

I hope the Tesla motor car company does well and I’m sure they will with all the 2008 cars sold and I bet when people start seeing them around many more will be sold.

Thy do plan on making a lower priced 4 door electric but the coup need to sell well first.

    They have a nice website.

    I agree with you.

The left has never truly been the friend of the working class or of anyone who is pro faimly.

The Hispanics are not PC. They like fast cars and big families.

Demographics rule the world and it is our job to start bringing some of the Hispanics to our side. This is the single most important thing we can do.

We do need to start with the school system that is re programing all the kids. They have started on my 6 year old this year and I’m fighting back.

One way is to form a “Union” of parents. Most parents have no idea of exactly what is being taught in school and that is a good place to start.

If we can’t control the school system will never be able to win the PR war.

We are loosing right now and we need to do new things.

This is a Forum that I started for our school. I have been forbidden by the director of using the schools email list so I will have to promote it by hand.

    http://www.mtaphoenix.com/

I have decided to pull the single school Forum format and go to a district wide format with a good conservative as a mod for each school. It will take some work but someone has to do it.

We need to start re building somewhere. In the last 8 years the left has raised a whole generation of activist ready to “save the world”. They are starting in kindergarten with “green” programs. I had a teacher tell me yesterday that being green is what good citizenship is!

You should look at the Chevy Volt and the use of A123 systems batteries.

    http://www.a123systems.com/#/home/cordless

The cells from A123 last about 10 times longer than standard lithium ion and they don’t flame out either. You can buy them now in a DeWalt power tools and other things.

The Volt will go 40 miles with no gas and then a generator kicks in and you can go 260 miles more.

    At 50 to 60 MPG!

I don’t see the ultra cap working out in the long run. The one flaw is the voltage swing from the cap. It may start out at 15,000V and discharge to 300 volts.

All this electric has to be inputed to a inverter to make around 300 volts A/C for an electric drive motor. There is almost no semiconductors that will run at that voltage.

You want a mostly stable input voltage to the inverter.
There is some new nano LI batteries coming on line that will have all the performance necessary for electric autos without 15 years of development.

With the flaming laptop problem and so many small electronic devices there is a built in market for a much better battery. They are on the way right now.

    Look at A123 systems.

It depends on the meaning of the word “IS”.

“the report found that in California, U.S.-born men were institutionalized 10 times more often than foreign-born men (4.2 percent vs. 0.42 percent).”

“The study did not differentiate between documented immigrants and illegal immigrants”

Many first generation Mexican men join gangs and commit lot’s of crime.

Many illegals are deported without being charged.

Many are arrested but flee while on bail and never come back.

TV works. It has been used for anti American propaganda for 50 years.

This is why State waited until now to start the program, you wouldn’t want the “image” of the USA to look good with GWB in office would you?

There will be a full time 24/7 365 day a year media campaign to make the new POUS look like a king if it is a DEM.

We needed this 6 years ago but GWB just wanted to get along.

The only problem State had 6 years ago is they could not find anything good to say about the USA, now with “HOPE” on the way it’s time to fire up the propaganda machine.

Ok, I have heard enough of this BS.

There is no way we can farm our way out of oil. EVER.

This is a mater of scale. Good farm land is a much more scarce resource than oil. I bet neither of you guys have ever look at how much fertilizer is needed to grow the corn have you?

There is almost no true environmental advantage to ethanol. If you look at the pollution from making the fertilizer and the electric to run the water pumps to fill the fields with water the whole idea is just silly.

If you two are so smart then add it up and post the answerer. Don’t forget the processing and the CO2 it makes.

We need more efficient auto like electric cars. A electric motor is around 80% efficent and a gas burner is about 20%

Think hard, if you want to use less gas would it be smart to make cars that don’t use gas?

10 million electric cars would save more fuel and pollute less than any ethanol project will ever do.

Natural gas burns 80% cleaner than reg gas. Stop using it for peak power plants and make a bunch of NG autos.

Build 20 nuke plants and build some of the large solar plants (nanosolar.com) and even some nice big coal plants with scrubbers on them.

This ethanol scam will not last in hard economic times. My wife just paid over $10 for a frickin chicken!

The average Joe will figure out what has caused the increase in food prices and not be happy.
