  • Persevering with Palin (Even a lefty at the Guardian sort of gets it!!)

they are also many people that say Palin remembers their faces after months and meeting thousands of other people. Other stories of her photographic memory. I just picked the one i found with a quick search.

either way I agree her actions are one of a very intelligent person and why I meet with glee the liberals attempts to make her a dumb bimbo. It will be one of the easiest themes to break when she shows she isn't and it makes her teflon.

there are numerous news stories out from people that have worked close to her that say she has a photographic memory

    like this one:

I'm a Democrat, but I've worked as a consultant with the McCain campaign since shortly after Palin’s nomination. Last week, there was the thought that as a former editor-in-chief of Ms. magazine as well as a feminist activist in my pre-journalism days, I might be helpful in contributing to a speech that Palin had long wanted to give on women's rights.

What is often called her “confidence” is actually a rarity in national politics: I saw a woman who knows exactly who she is.
Now by “smart,” I don't refer to a person who is wily or calculating or nimble in the way of certain talented athletes who we admire but suspect don't really have serious brains in their skulls. I mean, instead, a mind that is thoughtful, curious, with a discernable pattern of associative thinking and insight. Palin asks questions, and probes linkages and logic that bring to mind a quirky law professor I once had. Palin is more than a “quick study”; I'd heard rumors around the campaign of her photographic memory and, frankly, I watched it in action. She sees. She processes. She questions, and only then, she acts. What is often called her “confidence” is actually a rarity in national politics: I saw a woman who knows exactly who she is.

Wow a politician that changes her positions based on the newest data available. Unlike Obama whom when shown the data of his stimulus bill's failure wants to double down on stupid.

an open-minded leader?? say it isn't so. A leader that leads based on science instead of PC correctness or partisan ideas? Say it's not so.

  • U.S. Senate Republicans Outed: Their Mere 'No' Votes Are 'Yes' Votes for Obamacare

I don't have faith in the GOP convictions after they allowed the $1.1 trillion spending bill to pass.

The vote on that bill to end the fillibuster was 60 votes. The MSM headlined it that the dems defeated a GOP fillibuster attempt. However it was three GOP senators that voted to allow the bill to move forward. Snow,Thad Cochran, and Shelby. The sad thing is their three votes (all three are in very safe seats and not up for reelection anytime soon) allowed three dems in trouble and facing a tough reelection to vote to continue the filibuster Byah, ;Lincoln and Fiengold.

This was not a coincidence, because it was not till after the GOPs senators voted did the three Dem's vote. The Dem senators were prepared to vote to end the filibuster if they had too. However the GOP did them a favor by voting to end it.

Understand this. The Minority GOP gave political cover to three DEMOCRATIC SENATORS on a very important fiscal vote so that the DEM senators would not have to face the voters.

The bill would have passed one way or the other; however, because of the GOP actions those three Dem's will not have a hot political issue that their GOP challengers can use against them in the general. Why would the GOP do this and allow this to occur? Because they cut a deal. Some deal for something. They placed their own personal concerns for power or money or favors over their party's chances in 2010. They screwed the voters of those three states from understanding exactly who they are voting for.

Anyone still think the GOP senators will stand on principle in the health care vote?

I enjoyed her story about her first meeting with her future mother-in-law and the after effects of the Cophenagan tobacco.

funny stuff and as a person that can remember his first time dipping tobacco 100% true.

When you read the book you can tell which parts Palin wrote and which parts Lynn wrote. They speak (write) in two different styles. Alot of the first 200 pages or so are Palin’s voice. some of the campaign parts were Lynn's they joined in the Going forward section. it seems were the book was marking Gov Palin’s success Lynn was writing more often. Maybe Palin didn't like to brag. etc. Read the book and you will see the two different voices within the book.

It works and it provides a break from one for the other. I would say Lynn probably polished the final draft from cover to cover also and acted like an Editor in that final draft.

I agree it is subtle but it is there. I saw it the first time it appeared. Also the “rock star” label, the “talk show” talk, among others.

It is attempt to paint Palin has a flim-flam flash in the pan here today gone tommorrow kind of person. and since it is right below the rader and not out and out unhinged hate I smell rinos’. It is their MO. See they also think the masses are stupid but not as stupid as the liberals think they are. they think they can lead them around by the nose whereas the liberals think they need a whip and chains to lead the masses.

LOL this hit piece is funny because the writer states what Palin believes in as if it is scary but in fact it is what the majority of Americans believe. the majority is against the KSM trial, against closing Gitmo, for taking out Iran, For close ties with Israel and allowing Israel to handle its own problems as it sees fit, against showing mercy to death row inmates, etc.

all of the positons the writer mentions I believe are the majority view of America. No wonder they fear her.

they still have no idea. The article is an attack piece but on a different level. they don't understand their enemy because they refuse to admit that their enemy is worth their time and effort too understand. And that as with all evil and misguided human movements will be their downfall.

Palin has a photographic memory, She gave her speech at the GOP convention without a telepromter from memory and notes. Name me 10 people in the world that could do that with that kind of pressure and do it as well as Palin did. And yet the left fails to see what that means.

The left takes only the data that fights their worldview and disregards all other data. Be it the Curoic interview or climategate. the left only sees what it wants to see. If 20 interviews are great interviews with no mistakes and one (which has been cut and edited) is bad. Horribly bad. Logic says the 20 interviews is the real person and the one is either a hit piece or Palin had a bad day. But no where would a sane logical educated person make the blanket determination from that one interview that the person is an uneducated loon. Only the fools and uneducated would make a sweeping case like that Like the Dean scream seemed to confirm to people that Howard Dean was unstable when all the facts suggest that he is very level headed and very thoughtful. I don't agree with Dean's policies but I would be a fool to disregard his intelligence.

I think the base will vote for anyone not Obama at this point. however that is not the issue. The difference between Sarah and say a Mitt, or Newt is that the base will donate time, money, GOTV effort for Sarah whereas for Mitt, Newt they will simply vote.

Taking on a sitting president you need passion in your voters, you need them out there giving money, giving time and effort. Palin brings that passion. All other GOP front runners do not. without that passion the GOP loses a close election. And even if they win the new president will not have any type of mandate.

She is getting 100,000 to 125,000 per speech

She has 1000 speaking requests. If she does everyone of those she will make $10 million just in speechs. Add the reported 47 million she has made off of her book and that pays for alot of staff.

this is way the GOP elites Must embrace Palin she can get their message out to the public over the media and the DNC shills. that is not divisive that is a winning political point.

Before Palin brought up Climategate most people have not heard of it. It was being ignored by the MSM. Now with Palin the people have another opposite voice. And now the battle of ideas can happen. Before Palin it was “settled science to many” now its up in the air and becomes a political ideology battle which is what is should have been all along. The Gop elites like Newt, Mitt etc instead of fighting the battle simply caved and decided it was not worth trying to fight it because they COULD NOT GET THEIR MESSAGE OUT.

Palin can. that is all the qualification she needs for a run at the WH.
