BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Confederate statues and monuments across the country are coming down. Officials at Beauvoir said the statues would be welcomed at the last home of Jefferson Davis with open arms. “We ask the cooperation of any and all fair-minded people to help with Beauvoir’s acquisition of these statues,” said assistant director Andrea Little in a news release. Many Americans find monuments to the Confederacy offensive and feel they should not be displayed publicly. Officials at Beauvoir believe they have the proper place to display the statues with historical context. “Our vision is to include the monuments as...

A Historical Perspective On Mass Violence [by Jason Kessler] 12/6/2015 Here's a different kind of question I've often had about large scale tragedies like natural disasters, diseases & gun violence: We get so caught up in the emotion of the violence that we don't consider the long-term, historical consequences. To put it bluntly: the planet is overpopulated already. Maybe we shouldn't try to cure every disease, we shouldn't confiscate all the harmful drugs, etc. Perhaps we'd be happier if we made peace with the fact that rabid animals are going to dwindle the herd from time to time (as they...

Donald Trump isn’t the only U.S. president who loved to bash the Washington press corps. The original “Give ‘em Hell” Harry S. Truman called journalists covering the White House “prostitutes of the mind” in a letter written on Dec. 29, 1955 to pal Dean Acheson. In the salty letter, a copy of which was obtained by The Post, Truman rails against newspaper writers and columnists, calling them “more dangerous” than street walkers. “Presidents and the members of their Cabinets and their staff members have been slandered and misrepresented since George Washington,” Truman wrote in the hand-written diatribe. “When the press...

DALLAS, TX — Untold millions are poised for the Aug. 21 eclipse of the sun on Aug. 21 (sorry, Texas, it'll only be partial from our horizon), but the date — when many kids gear up for the first day of school — is inconvient for one mom. "Most kids go back to school that day," the mom wrote the Perot Museum in Dallas that's hosting a solar eclipse party. "Can it be done on the weekend?" The answer is no. The date of the solar eclipse cannot be postponed for another day.

These two videos are from two young ladies who were at the Charlottesville event. They're not professional speakers nor are they professional media reporters. They seem genuine, credible, unbiased and the come across as very well informed, straightforward and forthright. There are 2 videos, the first one below and then a follow up video below that. They're both long, and as I listed and watched, I felt compelled to watch to the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1NXoULi9qs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TufjEbROjc4

General Kelly took away Trump’s phone? Multiple people close to POTUS told me Kelly “took away his phone,” although I wasn’t able to confirm if they meant this literally or figuratively. Did the President of the United States actually have his phone taken from his physical possession? This struck me as hard to believe, although it was clear the tone and tenor of Trump’s tweets had changed, and the sources who provided me this information had regularly given me massive scoops.

The message from the liberal, leftist side and the media is now crystal clear. EITHER support us in removing Trump from office or we'll destroy every vestige of history and values you have and start a civil war, consequences be damned.

For awhile now I have been amazed but not surprised. People are confounded at the situation we are in in this country. The obvious steps to correct the problems are not taken. Evil prevails. Obvious criminals prosper. Violence in our country and around the world escalates. While numerous articles are posted that events that replicate what will occur in the End Days actually are occurring now. And people still don't understand why situations seem not to be able to improve. When Jesus was physically on the earth, the leaders could not force the death of Jesus but why the Father...

Every single Black Lives Matter protest that turned violent, it seems, was described by the fake news as a "peaceful protest" that was defiled by a few bad actors. Just wondering if they'll do the same for the stupidity happening in Charlottesville.

Dozens of white nationalists marched through the University of Virginia campus on Friday night carrying torches while chanting “You will not replace us.” The demonstrators, who also yelled "blood and soil", a phrase tied to Nazi ideology, made their way through the Charlottesville campus before encircling a group of counterprotesters gathered around a statue of Thomas Jefferson. A fight broke out, and some of the white nationalists swung their tiki torches at people, according to the Daily Progress. Protesters wielding torches march through campus chanted "You will not replace us". Members of both sides were reportedly hit with pepper spray,...

To: All Google Employees From: Unoi’m Carasee, Vice President of Mutually Exclusive Propositions Subject: The Recent Outrage Dear Google Employees: In light of the horrific assault on Google values recently made by a former employee, we feel it is necessary to add a few further propositions to the official Google List of Mandatory Beliefs. In order to retain their positions, all Google employees must assent to the following two Statements of Fact: 1) For the purposes of employee non-discrimination policy, there is no such thing as a male brain or a female brain. Any suggestion to the contrary is rank...

I will wager that some politician or media person will claim that the "catastrophic" 8/21 solar eclipse will be caused by global warming.

An unfamiliar number appears on your cellphone. It’s from your area code, so you answer it, thinking it might be important,†Christopher Mele writes for The New York Times. “There is an unnatural pause after you say hello, and what follows is a recording telling you how you can reduce your credit card interest rates or electric bill or prescription drug costs or any of a number of other sales pitches. Another day, another irritating robocall. If it feels as if your cellphone has increasingly been flooded with them, you’re right.†“In a Robocall Strike Force Report in October, the...

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WFLA) — The Greenville Police Department is asking residents not to shoot Bigfoot. This plea comes in response to a reported sighting in Cleveland County earlier this week and a video from Boone. The police department posted this statement on its Facebook page: After watching this video from nearby Boone, North Carolina, Facebook followers and friends, I think we can say with some confidence that proof of Bigfoot still eludes us. If you see Bigfoot, please do not shoot at him/her, as you’ll most likely be wounding a fun-loving and well-intentioned person, sweating in a gorilla costume. #gvlpd...

The Norks announcement of a Guam-area nuclear strike might not be a foolish, or even un-reasoned move on their part. Stop and think for a moment, and then game it. Remember, they did not say "Guam", as in that specific island with multiple US bases. It's been missed in many stories, but the DPRK's NCNA specifically said "near Guam" For example, this is from the BBC story: "North Korea says it is considering missile strikes NEAR the US Pacific territory of Guam, just hours after President Donald Trump threatened Pyongyang with "fire and fury". More: "The North's official news agency...
