Crow Tribal Chairman Alvin Not Afraid, Jr. was met with praise and applause while speaking at a GOP rally held Monday afternoon in Montana. In attendance was Vice President Mike Pence, who headlined the event. “Today I stand before you to endorse, as well as support, President Trump, Vice President Pence,” Not Afraid, Jr. said before also endorsing other Republican candidates in Montana. Those endorsements included U.S. Senator Steven Daines who faces a November challenge from Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock; current Montana U.S. House Rep. Greg Gianforte, a Republican running for governor; and state auditor Matt Rosendale, a candidate for...

New research into the minds of crows has revealed a jaw-dropping finding: the canny corvids aren't just clever - they also possess a form of consciousness, able to be consciously aware of the world around them in the present. In other words, they have subjective experiences.
  • VIDEO: Angry Crow Tries to Dig Up Turtle Eggs

VIDEO I have seen this scene many times in my backyard. A turtle digs up dirt made soft by a recent rain, lays its eggs, followed by the inevitable crow digging up some of the eggs to eat. However, yesterday an interesting twist. The turtle probably only seemed to lay eggs, perhaps knowing of their fate due to the crow standing nearby. This was followed by the crow furiously trying but failing to dig up the eggs. Watching this crow you can tell it was incredibly frustrated by its failure to find any turtle eggs in the ground.
  • ‘Dingus, you realize you’re a Democrat, right?’ AOC lecturing Twitter about ‘slaveholder’ statues goes very, VERY wrong

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez needs to ask herself what party she’s a member of and who those ‘slaveholder’ statues really represent. And SPARE US the BS magical history that Democrats use to pretend their party wasn’t filled with racist monsters who founded the KKK. Those slaveholders would have been in AOC’s party … think she understands that? That’s a rhetorical question, FYI. People really need to ask themselves why their communities chose to erect statues to slaveholders instead of abolitionists.— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) June 11, 2020 Tone-deaf is the phrase of the day, folks. You might want to ask why you are...
  • Swedish city to use chicken manure to deter crowds ( from attending Walpurgis Night festival)

    BBC.com ^ | 4/29/20 | BBC
The Swedish city of Lund is to spread chicken manure in its central park in an effort to deter crowds gathering for a festival. Tens of thousands of people usually descend on southern city to celebrate Walpurgis Night, which is marked across Scandinavia. But officials want to keep people away because of the coronavirus outbreak. There is no lockdown in Sweden, where data show most people have taken to voluntary social distancing. "Lund could very well become an epicentre for the spread of the coronavirus on the last night in April," the chairman of the local council's environment committee, Gustav...
  • (2007 Flashback) Sheryl Crow's view on toilet paper: one sheet a visit

"All I wanna do is have some fun," sang Sheryl Crow once, but it appears her desires have since changed. Now all she wants to do is limit the use of toilet paper to one sheet per visit. The singer made her declaration in an article for the Huffington Post to help promote her Stop Global Warming College Tour, an 11-date tour explaining the perils of global warming to Americans. Accompanied by Laurie David, activist and wife of comedian Larry David, the pair have been criss-crossing the country in a biodiesel-powered bus spreading the word on the bathroom hygiene of...
  • Impeachment Managers Hold Group Therapy Session on CNN

Source: CNN/Screenshot The defeated House impeachment managers held a group therapy session on CNN to vent their frustrations about the Senate finding the president not guilty on the two articles of impeachment against him. The managers shouldn't feel too bad though. Nothingburgers are extremely difficult to prove. All the managers seemed to be in agreement that the president was "not exonerated" by the Senate. In the president's defense, it's hard to exonerate someone of a crime when there was never any specific crime being alleged. The managers also lamented the fact that additional evidence and witnesses – but not...

VIDEO You can see the shadow of the crow going EXACTLY over the egg-laying turtle at the beginning and again at the 9:45 mark of this video. Also that scene can be seen again at the end of the video. A great juxtaposition of the Crow Shadow of Death just as the turtle attempts to bring new life into the world. Later you can see two crows hovering nearby. This is an example of a good thing happening from what was originally thought to be a bad situation. In this case the situation of me lacking a zoom telephoto lens...

With the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 season hitting Netflix on Thanksgiving, the MST3K Turkey Day marathon comes early this year. Thanksgiving Day is always a big deal for Mystery Science Theater 3000. It’s when the show debuted way back in 1988, it’s when the upcoming MST3K season 12 will debut on Netflix, and it’s when they regularly do their annual Thanksgiving marathon. The fact that it’s going to be the 30 year anniversary of the show helps make it seem like an even bigger deal this year. There’s been an elephant in the room, though. There’s a little too...

Cruel: A spokesman for a prominent Native American tribe is blasting uber-Left-wing politicians in deep blue coastal states for using onerous EPA regulations to deny his people the opportunity to coal, gas, and other forms of energy. The Daily Caller reports that officials in a small number of coastal states led by Washington are essentially denying Crow Tribal members the opportunity to earn a much better living. CJ Stewart, a Crow Tribal member and co-founder of the National Tribe Energy Association, told the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works Thursday that his people are dependent on producing energy to...
  • Backyard camera catches talking crow saying 'Hello' to squirrel

A wild crow that was hand-raised by an Ontario veterinarian as an infant was caught on camera saying "Hello" to a squirrel in the woman's back yard. Dr. Kristy Hiltz, a veterinarian at Sherbrooke Heights Animal Hospital in Peterborough, said her husband placed a GoPro camera near a feeder in their back yard and it recently captured the moment a crow landed on a branch near a feasting squirrel and said "Hello" twice. Hiltz said the crow was one of five she and her family cared for in the summer of 2011 after their nest fell out of a tree...

Any harebrained liberal who still believes President Donald Trump might one day wind up in prison for colluding with Russians to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election should promptly seek an appointment with a therapist. And not just because the evidence has disproved this narrative, but because someone at MSNBC — the same MSNBC where a contributor recently called for a “revolution” against Trump — now admits that the likelihood of Trump being indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller is “next to zero.” “He is not going to indict anybody if he can’t bring that indictment home and...

It’s done. The GOP has passed the most extensive tax reform in the past three decades. The $1.5 trillion cut will benefit America’s working and middle classes. Republicans united, stuck to their guns, and passed it without help from the Democrats, who were not going to lift a finger to help the Trump White House get a key part of its agenda passed. In doing so, they betted against the American worker and hoped that millions of families get screwed to score political points. They thought this bill was Armageddon. It was not. It’ll benefit anywhere from 80-90 percent of...

Fans don’t like to let their favorites go, but now they don’t have to. We live in a world desperate to remake, reboot, and flat-out return to beloved franchises, hunting the closest thing to a sure audience there is. But the more beloved these continuations are, they harder they are to get right. Fans want them to somehow be exactly the same while still being fresh and new, an impossible request—except, it turns out, for the return of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The show returns today on Netflix with its 11th season, 18 years after season 10 ended in 1999....
