If the test goes well, the King may expand the service to other cities. Home delivery has always been a challenge for the food and beverage business. Pizza restaurants obviously have found success, but burgers and fries don't hold up quite as well in transit. They also lose some appeal in the microwave. Burger King is testing delivery in a few Washington, D.C. area restaurants as part of a test that will include 16 restaurants by January 23. The fast food chain, however, did not provide details on the timing of a national rollout. A delivery driver turned the tables on a couple of would-be robbers late Thursday night. Lexington Police say two juveniles jumped the worker for China King outside an apartment building on Laketower Drive, near Lakeshore Drive around 9:15 p.m. The delivery man then pulled out a handgun, shooting one of the kids in the abdomen.
