CABELL COUNTY, WV (WOWK) - A suspect has been arrested in what the sheriff department says is the largest drug bust in Cabell County history. According to Cabell County Sheriff Chuck Zerkle, 31-year-old Wayne Allen Cook Jr. was arrested in the Highlawn area. Massachusetts State Police on Friday confiscated 1,250 bags of heroin during a traffic stop -- and many of the bags were labeled "Obama care." Other bags were labeled "Kurt Cobain." The traffic stop was made in the town of Hatfield, Mass. "During the stop, evidence of illegal narcotics led to a request for a State Police K9," the state police said in a statement on the agency's Facebook page. "Trooper David Stucenski and K9 Frankie located 1,250 individual bags of heroin in the vehicle. Four people were taken into custody and charged with narcotics violations."

BOSTON (FOX25, myfoxboston) - FOX25 has learned that Congressman Barney Frank was present during a marijuana arrest at James Ready's home in Ogunquit, Maine. Ready is well-known for his relationship with Congressman Frank. According to a police report, police charged Ready with marijuana possession, cultivation and use of drug paraphernalia in August of 2007. Ready admitted to civil possession and paid a fine. A northeastern Pennsylvania cocaine ring that allegedly rang up sales of more than $31 million over three years was broken up Thursday as law enforcement officials announced charges against 40 suspects.
