<p>DENVER, Colorado (AP) -- A judge sentenced an Arizona woman to 60 days home detention for intercepting her husband's ex-wife's e-mail, saying the penalty is a warning to others who might be tempted to do the same.</p> <p>"Privacy is still a cherished value," U.S. District Judge Richard P. Matsch said in sentencing Angel Lee, 28, of El Mirage, Arizona.</p>

Doctors at St. Louis University Hospital said the transplant may have saved Vivian Corrie's life. Corrie, of Troy, Ill., learned in 1995 that she had primary biliary cirrhosis, a genetic liver disease that can lead to life-threatening complications. Five years later, Corrie's brother discovered he had the same disease. Before he could receive a transplant, he died in 2001 at 56.</p>

(AP) --  A Somis woman who thought she was a widow filed suit against a hospital because a nurse, calling the wrong family, told her that her husband was dead.</p> <p>The Superior Court lawsuit was filed Tuesday by Martha Weaver against Catholic Healthcare West, operators of St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo, and Nationwide Nursing Service Inc., which employed the nurse who made the June 19 call.</p>

<p>SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) --  Drunk and angry with his wife, Donald Chase held a pistol to the floor of his upstairs den and fired. The bullet passed through a carpet and the kitchen ceiling and killed his wife as she poured bottles of liquor down the sink.</p>

<p>DALLAS (AP) --  An accountant was found guilty of capital murder Wednesday for shooting to death his two young daughters while his ex-wife listened helplessly on the telephone.</p> <p>The jury took 20 minutes to convict John Battaglia, 46, in the slayings last May of 9-year-old Faith and 6-year-old Liberty.  He could get life in prison or the death penalty.  His lawyers rested their case Tuesday without calling any witnesses and said they planned to focus on saving his life.</p>
