... The challenges farmers cite include E.U. requirements to cut the use of pesticides and fertilizers, now partly dropped in light of the protests. Europe’s decision to open its doors to cheaper Ukrainian grain and poultry in a show of solidarity added to competitive problems in a bloc where labor costs already varied widely. At the same time, the E.U. has in many cases reduced subsidies to farmers, especially if they do not shift to more environmentally friendly methods. German farmers have attacked Green party events. This month, they spread a manure slick on a highway near Berlin that caused...

A constitutional battle is shaping up over whether the U.S. government can force the owners and top employees of small businesses to send their addresses and photo IDs to federal financial crime investigators. The Biden administration has appealed a decision by a federal judge in Alabama, who ruled this month the Corporate Transparency Act exceeded the powers granted to Congress by the Constitution. The government says the information collected from small businesses will ferret out shell companies and help law and intelligence officers foil human smugglers, drug traffickers and terrorists. The appeal has a good chance because courts rarely strike...

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is calling on governments to ban the general public from growing their own food at home by arguing that they are causing “climate change.” According to so-called “experts” behind a recent WEF study, researchers apparently discovered that the “carbon footprint” of home-grown food is “destroying the planet.” As a result, the WEF and other globalist climate zealots are now demanding that governments intervene and ban individuals from growing their own food in order to “save the planet” from “global warming.” The research indicated that resorting to garden-to-table produce causes a far greater carbon footprint than...

As inflation remains stubbornly high, farmers throughout the Western world are warning that cost increases from the net zero movement will drive food prices still higher, while simultaneously putting many smaller farmers out of business.January inflation numbers showed that prices increased by 3.1 percent over what they were a year ago, indicating that the fight against inflation, while progressing, has not been won.Overall, prices have surged by nearly 18 percent since January 2021 when President Joe Biden took office.Americans are struggling in an economy in which, by official statistics, nearly one-fifth of the value of their dollars has evaporated in...

There is currently a war being waged against America that threatens the very liberty of our nation — and it’s one you might not expect. It's not the war on free speech or freedom of religion. It's the war on beef. Who better to discuss this war than American cattle rancher Shad Sullivan? Shad is the R-CALF USA Private Property Rights Committee chair. In this episode of "The Glenn Beck Podcast," Shad and Glenn discuss the “war on beef” and why it matters to everyday Americans. Shad explains the issues with California’s Prop 2 and Prop 12 and how they...

@RepThomasMassie VICTORY! The House just overwhelmingly agreed to pass my amendment to ensure families can still share ownership of livestock in order to procure healthy meat locally. The USDA had ridiculously suggested they might ban sharing among multiple families.

In a joint statement, representatives from nations involved in the anti-farming pact celebrated the agreement. “Food systems are responsible for 60% of methane emissions,” said Marcelo Mena, CEO of Global Methane Hub. “We congratulate countries willing to take the lead in food systems methane mitigation and confirm our commitment to support this type of initiative with programs that explore promising methane mitigation technologies and the underpinning research of methane mitigation mechanisms to create new technologies.” “Mitigating methane is the fastest way to reduce warming in the short term,” said U.S. “Climate Czar” John Kerry. The news comes as unelected bureaucratic...

Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration signed a global agreement with twelve other nations, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, and Spain, to crack down on farming to “save the planet” from “climate change.” If it’s like the plan implemented throughout the Western World, it will crush American farmers. As the World Bank warns of famines, they plan to restrict farmers over methane gas emissions. The UN and World Economic Forum also warn of famines. It’s the famine they seem sure to cause if we abide by these agreements. Symbols of American farming: tractor and flag on summer day Biden’s “climate czar,”...

A few weeks ago, 42-year-old Jared Bossly ventured out into his farm to plant alfalfa. Bossly’s farm in Brown County, South Dakota has been owned by his family for four generations. Bossley has put his entire life into his work, and has passed those values along to his children. He and his 17-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son work on the farm daily to do the right things for the land. Every spare penny the...

Farmers in South Dakota are facing egregious intimidation tactics by a private company that wants to use eminent domain to confiscate valuable farmland for carbon-capture pipelines.Summit Carbon Solutions requested a restraining order against Brown County farmer Jerad Bossly. With kids going hungry, Gov wants to cull 10% of Ireland's cattle for 'climate targets'. Environmentalism is just genocide misspelled. For Nuala O’Connor, a chef at a Barnardos centre in Dublin, food poverty in a young child is sometimes less about what they look like, and more about what they do.“Sometimes you just know by looking at them, that they are not getting what they need,” she said. “Then we have had children over time [who are] literally ravenous, literally taking it with their hands, they can’t get enough of it into their mouths and can’t get it in quick enough.Children...

John Kerry claimed that US farm confiscations are not off the table, as he stated that small farms contribute a significant amount of greenhouse gasses. If you recall, farmers in Holland are undergoing the most radical regulations that are actually causing culling of herds, and destruction of crops. Joe Biden’s “climate czar” John Kerry is calling for farmers to stop growing food in order to meet the administration’s radical “net zero” goals for lowering “emissions.” Kerry, Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, issued the warning during a green agenda conference in Washington D.C. During the Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) AIM for Climate Summit, Kerry told the audience that “we can’t get to net zero, we won’t get this job done, unless agriculture is front and center as part of the solution.” Kerry warned attendees that his and other world leaders’ “lives depend” on farmers ceasing their operations. Stopping...

Is Biden targeting white republicans' small businesses the same way Stalin targeted the Kulaks during the holodomor? Biden is not only targeting small business truckers, he is also targeting family farms By Ezequiel Doiny On April 17, 2023 Madeline Coggins wrote in Fox Business "The trucking industry is sounding the alarm on consequential ripple effects of the Biden administration's latest move in the electric vehicle push. While critics have voiced concerns about the EPA's recent emissions regulations, the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA), a trade organization that represents small business truckers, warns the restrictions are dangerous and threaten small businesses...
