Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM) make up 2 percent of the U.S. population but are the group most definitively affected by HIV, with 63 percent of those newly infected by HIV representing this group. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s weekly “Morbidity and Mortality” report shows that among persons newly infected with HIV in 2010, 63 percent were men who have sex with other men. Among Americans living with HIV, 52 percent were MSM – and a significant number of men with HIV are not receiving treatment. “Gay, bisexual, and other men who...

On Sept. 4, the homosexual-transgender group "Human Rights Campaign" sent out a blast email demanding that US Secretary of State John Kerry appoint a special “gay czar” in the State Department to coordinate the pressure against countries that have refused to buckle under to the LGBT agenda. The email rants about the “infamous anti-LGBT extremist Scott Lively” who is helping other countries fight back!

I warmly recommend to the readership a column by Francis Card. George, Archbishop of Chicago. His Eminence knocks this one over the fence. We enter in medias res. You can find the whole thing HERE: [...]In recent years, society has brought social and legislative approval to all types of sexual relationships that used to be considered “sinful.” Since the biblical vision of what it means to be human tells us that not every friendship or love can be expressed in sexual relations, the church’s teaching on these issues is now evidence of intolerance for what the civil law upholds and even...

A day after Michael Sam was released by the St. Louis Rams, he remained unclaimed by any other NFL team. Under the league’s waiver process, any team could have claimed him for its 53-player final roster, but none has done so. That means that Sam, the 249th pick in the seventh round of the NFL draft, is now free to sign on as a practice-squad player with any team, although the Rams would seem to be the most likely to add him to the 10-player practice squad. Even if he does sign with the Rams, it’ll be tough for him...

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams released defensive end Michael Sam on Saturday, according to multiple league sources. Sam's efforts to become the first openly gay player in NFL history came up just short in a competition against undrafted rookie Ethan Westbrooks. Westbrooks is one of nine defensive linemen to land a roster spot. Sam officially hit waivers Saturday at 4 p.m. ET when all NFL teams had to trim their rosters down to the league-mandated 53 players. From there, the other 31 teams will have 24 hours to put in a claim for Sam.

Gay Bathhouses Across US Face An Uncertain Future As the number of bathhouses declines, some are adding new amenities and advertising online to keep their doors open Saturday 23 August 2014 11.09 EDT In their heyday in the late 1970s, there were nearly 200 bathhouses in the US. Today, there are fewer than 70 nationwide. Gay bathhouses that once remained in the shadows to stay in business are now seeking attention to keep their doors open. Some are doing aggressive online advertising and community outreach. Others tout upscale amenities like plush towels and marble baths. A bathhouse in Ohio has...

A newspaper editor was fired after comparing gays to Nazis. Now he claims his First Amendment rights to write stupid things were violated. In April, the goateed editor of the Jasper County, Iowa Newton Daily News, Bob Eschliman, took to his personal blog to talk about Jesus and compare homosexuals to the Gestapo, as one does. When he was then fired, he felt as though he was under attack for his personal choice to live as he pleases — according to his interpretation of the Bible — and presumably saw no irony in that whatsoever. His incendiary post was promptly deleted...

I saw a story on KIRO TV about a person on Capitol Hill named Dylan Paul. Dylan Paul is 24 years old and transgender. Dylan was a man and now has breasts. But she still looks very much like a man if you watch the piece. The story reports on what happened when Dylan was working at Pagliacci up on Capitol Hill. She says that a customer mis-gendered her. According to Dylan, she was working at the salad station there and the customer said, 'Thanks man.' And she said, 'Well I'm not a man, I'm a ma'am.' "When he heard...

The U.S. Constitution protects gay people’s right to marry the person they love. It does not, however, protect them from getting fired for doing so. Throughout the first decade of marriage equality, most states that legalized gay marriage also proscribed anti-gay employment discrimination, rendering this legal dissonance moot. But as more and more states find marriage equality foisted upon them by a judicial mandate, this discordance in rights presents something of a ticking time bomb for the LGBT movement. ...

More than 300,000 people crammed into London's Trafalgar Square today to celebrate Gay Pride - and catch bearded lady Conchita Wurst's first major UK concert. The Austrian drag queen, crowned the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, was introduced by Sir Ian McKellen at 5pm to conclude a day of celebrations for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. The day started with a huge parade featuring more than 20,000 people - up 25 per cent on last year's 15,000. More than 200 floats and trucks set off from Baker Street this morning, winding through London's streets before...

A second source has confirmed that JP Morgan Chase has asked each of its employees whether they are “an ally of the LGBT community,” which employees have taken as a veiled threat. Each year JP Morgan Chase sends its employees a survey asking questions related to management and other non-controversial issues. A longtime Chase employee told Professor Robert George of Princeton that the survey this year included the following questions for the first time: Are you: 1) A person with disabilities; 2) A person with children with disabilities; 3) A person with a spouse/domestic partner with disabilities; 4) A member of...

Gay Pride parades are stepping off around the world, in cities large and small. In the U.S., rainbow flags line the streets of New York City's Fifth Avenue. Politicians including Gov. Andrew Cuomo (KWOH'-moh) and Mayor Bill de Blasio (dih BLAH'-zee-oh) are among those walking along a lavender line painted on the avenue from midtown Manhattan to the West Village. Marchers are commemorating the 45th anniversary of the Stonewall Inn riots, which are credited with launching the modern gay rights movement. In Chicago, about 1 million people are expected at this year's Gay Pride Parade. It's the first since Illinois'...

Four-legged gardeners will assist with weed mitigation this weekend on San Francisco's Twin Peaks hillside in preparation for Pride Weekend, according to public works officials. A herd of weed-eating goats will chomp their way through the unwieldy vegetation that overtakes the site of the annual Pink Triangle installation. The goats arrived on Thursday and are expected to work throughout the weekend. The 50-or-so goats take the place of machinery and herbicides, and will be supervised day and night by human goat herders, public works officials said. San Francisco city grazing manager Genevieve Church explained that the goats provide benefits beyond...

It’s hard to have an honest conversation about gay issues because liberals treat anything other than outright celebration of all things gay as “hate.” That doesn’t leave people much room to discuss a complicated issue that involves real human beings who often have to deal with a lot of challenges because of their sexual orientation. If you’re a compassionate person, you have to feel some sympathy when you talk to people who are closeted because they’re afraid that their relatives won’t accept them or someone who feels isolated and alone because his sexual orientation makes it impossible for him to...

The establishment media is complicit in the “fundamental transformation” of America, so we can hardly expect it to be forthcoming regarding what that transformation entails. That’s why sites like this one are grateful for first-hand reports on situations unlikely to be exposed on the evening news. This email from a concerned parent is a prime example: I am a parent in Oakland, California and I have a kindergartner in public school. My child came home [Thursday] and told me about the MANDATORY assembly for gay “pride” month. Parents had NO idea this was going to happen and I’m totally blindsided...
