A new study by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) warned that one in five adults reported being exposed to white supremacist ideologies in online games in 2022, with Jewish gamers experiencing the most harassment. The ADL Center for Technology & Society called the results of the survey a “startling increase” from the 8 percent who reported exposure to extremism in 2021. The Hate and Harassment in Online Games survey also found that 15 percent of young people ages 10-17 reported being exposed to discussions of white supremacist ideologies in online games, including popular games such as Call of Duty, Fortnite, Grand...

A former staffer for the Washington football team now called the Commanders accused her boss of using “Jewish slurs” and other forms of verbal harassment during her time with the organization. “I was called Jewish slurs that refer to a non-Jewish woman that you are sexualizing,” Emily Applegate said Thursday during testimony to the US House of Representatives Oversight Committee, which is probing allegations of harassment and misconduct within the NFL franchise. “A slur which I will not repeat a rabbi described as ‘simply indefensible, condescending, racist, and misogynistic.'” Applegate did not name her boss in the testimony, but The...

A U.S. safety regulator will look at whether pipelines carrying petroleum from Canada's oil sands are at greater risk for spills than those carrying other types of crude, and whether any changes are needed to its rules. The new study, to be completed by July 2013, could address some of the issues in play in the debate between environmental groups and the oil industry about TransCanada Corp's $7 billion Keystone XL pipeline project, designed to feed 700,000 barrels of oil a day from the Canadian oil sands into the United States. The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and other environmental...

Could Rand Paul and Ron Paul be Zionists?http://viewfrommasada.com/2011/02/17/ron-paul-rand-paul-zionists-of-the-year/Posted on February 17, 2011 by Matityahu Ben-YosefWhile the Middle East has always been a volatile region, the last month has seen events unfold in the region whose global impact we still may not appreciate. From the fall of governments in Lebanon, Tunisia, and Egypt, and with other Middle East regimes to soon share their fate, the balance of power in the Middle East is changing before our eyes. However, the most significant revolution taking place in the Middle East right now may not have anything to do with what’s unfolded in those countries...

Chatter bounces off the bare walls and checkered linoleum floor as Josh Pedaline and other Barack Obama supporters burn through their call sheets. A map of Delaware County splays across a tabletop. Another is laden with cookies, pretzels and other snacks. Volunteers seated elbow-to-elbow peck at cell phones and pitch the Democratic Illinois senator in advance of Ohio's March 4 primary. The scene is a typical campaign boiler room, except that four of the 13 dialing away are lifelong Republicans, including Pedaline, who reveres former President Reagan and twice voted for President Bush. "I am so sick and tired of...
