The case against an intern serving in the Newark, N.J., office of Sen. Robert Menendez, a Democrat from that state, who was arrested Dec. 6 reportedly for being both an illegal immigrant and a sex offender, apparently has gone underground. The Associated Press reported that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested 18-year-old Luis Abraham Sanchez Zavaleta outside of his Newark home. However, there seems to be no record of the arrest, the progress of Sanchez’s case, or that he is even still in custody.

According a report by the Associated Press, political appointees at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) repeatedly instructed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents not to arrest an illegal alien sex offender who was employed as an unpaid intern in the office of Senator Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) until after the elections. If confirmed, this overtly political act further demonstrates the shocking politicization of immigration enforcement under the current DHS leadership, charged the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

MSNBC host Chris Matthews told The Daily Caller that he would still consider John F. Kennedy a hero and still would have written his new book “Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero” if his daughter had been one-time White House intern Mimi Alford. Alford recently wrote “Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath” about an affair she says started when she was 19 years old. In the book she claims Kennedy took her virginity and then asked her to perform oral sex on his aides. TheDC caught up with Matthews on Monday at Ford’s Theatre...

This is a story about a young and impressionable female intern in the White House -- a virgin, with girlish dreams about princes and presidents. Young girls are trained to marry the wealthiest or most powerful man on the block. When the prince comes calling, few young girls can resist this opportunity. However, they are not the ones who are abusing power and betraying both youth and a wife. That would be the prince or president himself. And no, I am not talking about Monica Lewinsky in the Clinton White House. I am talking, sadly, about the recent revelations by...

I don't know when or where or even if Joe Scarborough's radio show airs in my area, nor do I care. The other night, a friend caught this clip from his radio show and sent it to me. It's about a blog that is published by the organization I head. "NewsBusters, which just loves writing negative articles about me, I don't know why, a lot of really false ones and I don't know what's actually gotten into Brent Bozell, but he actually goes out of his way to write false articles about me now ...They just distort the news for...

Shamsid-Din Abdur-Raheem, an aspiring lawyer and student at Richard Stockton College, reportedly held a leadership position in the Muslim Student Association at Stockton, according to college senior Zaw Win. The group's member and officer list has been disabled on its website. He was also an intern in Washington, D.C., with the juveniles section of the...

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Mayor Sam Adams, who has admitted lying about a sexual relationship with a teenager, said Sunday that he would not resign. A city commissioner, Randy Leonard, told The Associated Press that Mr. Adams had left a phone message in the morning saying he had decided to remain in office. Two other commissioners told The Oregonian of Portland that Mr. Adams, the city’s first openly gay mayor, had told them the same thing. The fourth, Amanda Fritz, declined to comment. Efforts to reach Mr. Adams were unsuccessful. The Oregonian’s editorial page has called for his resignation, as...

Mitt Romney referred to the possibility of electing Sen. Hillary Clinton for president as electing an "intern." Romney recently said, "The government of the United States is not a place for a president to be an intern. You need to have experience actually leading and running things." He has said it more than once, so there's no mistaking -- and it's a smart line of attack. Romney is onto something, turning his attention to Hillary before he's had a chance to win a primary or caucus. He has a point about experience. Unlike Romney, and unlike Rudy Giuliani, Clinton hasn't...

Hillary Clinton’s top advisers charge that the presidential candidate was unfairly targeted by moderator Tim Russert during Tuesday night’s Democratic debate in Philadelphia. Russert asked Clinton a number of tough questions during the MSNBC-sponsored debate, including one on Social Security and another on the release of documents from the Bill Clinton administration, as she sought to fend off attacks from her Democratic rivals. Mark Penn, Clinton’s senior strategist, said: “Russert made it appear that President Clinton had done something new or unusual” in regard to the release of documents. “I think there will be further clarification.” Penn and Jonathan Mantz,...
