Afraid that the Republican House majority in the next session of Congress might do serious damage to the President, Democrats are weighing strategies to deter any investigation into the Bidens' alleged multi-million-dollar influence-peddling schemes. In hopes of negating prosecution of Hunter, his friend, agent and lawyer Kevin Morris, paid off $2.8 million of the back taxes he owed. Morris also called for a "more aggressive" response including hitting critics, such as Fox News, with possible defamation lawsuits and figuring out a way to destroy the credibility of potential witnesses--Hunter's former business partner Tony Bobulinski and John Paul Mac Isaac, the...

I'm watching Martha interview John Isaac, the hunter biden computer repairman, and his appearance is extremely odd. I've always thought he was some how odd. First he's wearing that beret, but now his right is wondering all over the place and he also has a strong resemblance to a Lizard person. Don't ask me to explain just watch the clip. The strangest thing I've seen in a while. Just weird.

FBI "didn't show an interest in any of the money" after seizing Hunter Biden's laptop, according to John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer shop owner who reported it to authorities. John Paul Mac Isaac, the Delaware computer shop owner who unwittingly came into possession of Hunter Biden's laptop, says an FBI agent initially gave a stern warning to his family when first offered a copy of the explosive evidence about Joe Biden's son: "You better lawyer up and get out of my office." In a wide-ranging interview Monday with Just the News, Isaac described what concerned him most about the...

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac became the first NBA player to stand for the National Anthem as the league resumed play after a 20-week hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. The television broadcast showed Isaac, who is Black, standing as players and coaches from both teams, as well as referees, took a knee during the playing of the National Anthem. The 22-year-old forward was also the only player seen not wearing a "Black Lives Matter" shirt.

As Isaac and Rebekah struggled to become pregnant, God intervened. During the pregnancy there was a struggle in the womb, and “When she went to inquire about this from the Lord, she received a prediction from Him: Two nations, that is, twin progenitors of two nations, were struggling in her womb and the younger would triumph. Indeed the Israelites (Jacob’s descendants) and the Edomites (Esau’s descendants) fought continuously. God’s election of Jacob the younger over Esau the older was against the natural order. [1] Ancient Near Eastern customs for a family with multiple sons, would be once the father has...

The National Hurricane Center has been issuing advisories for Hurricane Florence since August 30. The five day "Cone of Uncertainty" archive progression since Aug. 30 may be found here. As the super-size storm named Florence approached the U.S. Atlantic Coast, stories abound of people who are refusing to evacuate barrier islands. The 82nd Airborne has relocated all of its assets, while FEMA is using Fort Bragg as a major staging area for post-storm supplies, including meals, water and cots. Fort Jackson (Columbia SC) has cancelled events including basic training graduation to prepare for military and civilian evacuees from coastal locations....

September 10 is the statistical peak of the Atlantic Tropical Storm season, and the conga line of storms dancing across the Atlantic is not disappointing historical data. The Governors of NC and SC have declared states of emergency for a potential major hurricane landfall, while Hurricane Florence is slowly creeping westward. Florence is predicted to increase forward motion and intensity Monday. Hurricanes Hazel (1954) and Hugo (1989) are two notorious major hurricanes to make landfall in NC and SC, respectively. North Carolina has prior experience with "F" named hurricanes. Hurricanes Fran (1996) and Floyd (1999) caused widespread flooding and damage...

One of Hillary Clinton’s closest advisers told her that Barack Obama should use a deadly hurricane to boost his re-election campaign, a proposal that she agreed to pass on to the White House, a new tranche of emails reveals. Blair and Clinton transcripts reveal global concerns of two buddies Read more Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime friend of the Clintons, sent a memo in 2012 presenting a strategy for turning Hurricane Isaac to the Democrats’ political advantage by contrasting it with President George W Bush’s handling of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

President Obama on Thursday declared 11 Florida counties a disaster area for damage sustained in August from Tropical Storm Isaac. The declaration makes federal funding available to state and local governments. In September, the Federal Emergency Management Agency refused Gov. Rick Scott's request for a presidential declaration of disaster for damages caused by Isaac. FEMA director Craig Fugate... basically argued that Florida could handle the costs on its own. ....It was unclear late Thursday why the decision about the declaration was reversed...

Gas prices have jumped nearly 8 cents a gallon over the past two weeks, and are approaching the high for the year, according to a survey published Sunday. The average price of regular is now $3.84 a gallon, just 13 cents below the peak that was reached this year in April, the Lundberg Survey found. "It's due mostly, but not entirely, to storm-related refinery shutdowns," said publisher Trilby Lundberg. Hurricane Isaac and the resulting power outages caused refineries to close, particularly in the Gulf region. About a penny in the price jump is the result of a slight rise in...

Gulf Coast residents are getting a history lesson after a mysterious ship popped up on the beach after Hurricane Isaac. The wreckage of a presumed Civil War warship washed up in Fort Meyer, Alabama, near Mobile, after the Category 1 storm barreled down on the Gulf Cost.

There are some arguments, of course, that could be offered against a simple comparison of timelines. However, given the political realities of hurricanes making landfall around New Orleans, I find it amazing that Obama delayed a visit to this area. In light of a levee being breached, massive flooding, and torrential rain damage, one really has to wonder whether political gamesmanship made him ignore these people for political points. Additionally, President Bush flew over the day before he visited. (Note the wiki timeline below: it seems to indicate a Bush visit on 1 September, but I could not corroborate that.)...

Plan B for Obama's speech?Posted by Steve Lyttle at 11:58 AM Friday, August 31, 2012 **SNIP** From what I've read, the plan isn't to move the event. It basically calls for using the same protocol used by the Panthers. In other words, if it rains, suck it up. If there's lightning, head for cover. The guess is that the program would be resumed when the storm passes. Hmm ... I hope the Weather Guy didn't scare them. Originally, forecasters were talking about a high likelihood of showers and thunderstorms throughout next week, with left-over moisture from the remnants of Hurricane...

I think it's likely over, but as Glenn would advise- don't get cocky. Coming off a terrific Republican National Convention Mitt Romney decided to visit New Orleans, which is suffering the aftereffects of Hurricane Isaac. LAKELAND, Fla. — In a last-minute change of plans, Mitt Romney will head to visit storm-affected areas in New Orleans today, skipping a previously scheduled joint rally with running mate Paul Ryan in the battleground state of Virginia this afternoon. A Romney aide told ABC News that Romney will “join Gov. Jindal and will meet with first responders, thank them for their work and see...

At the present time, an economic hurricane has devastated the country. The news keeps getting worse as Americans are facing a high unemployment rate, anemic economic growth, rising food and gasoline prices and a housing industry that is in a depression. Food stamp recipients are at an all time high and more Americans than ever are classified as poor.

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will head to Louisiana to tour damage from Hurricane Isaac. Romney has scheduled a last-minute visit Friday to Lafitte, La., where he will tour damage with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal. The storm canceled the first day of Romney’s Republican convention, and his campaign has been considering a visit for several days. Romney is scrapping an appearance in Virginia to go to Louisiana instead. Heavy rains and flooding have contributed to at least five deaths in Louisiana and Mississippi this week after the slow-moving storm knocked out power in whole neighborhoods. In Louisiana, Romney will thank...

IF you go to the Drudgereport you'll see a pic of a flooded restaurant in Akers, LA. This seafood joint is on the North shore of Lake Maurepas, just west of Lake Pontchartrain -- NW of New Orleans. It sits REAL close to the water's edge below Interstate 55 which is elevated probably 25 feet (guessing) above the ground below. I am postulating this shows what the storm surge there has done, as opposed to rainfall. This link shold take you to a street view where you can just about duplicate the pic on the Drudgereport. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=middendorf's+seafood-manchac+la&ll=30.289514,-90.402589&spn=0.003029,0.00486&fb=1&gl=us&hq=middendorf's+seafood-manchac+la&cid=0,0,6392791585389205583&t=h&z=18&layer=c&cbll=30.289711,-90.402629&panoid=xPsDGbpc-o6PR-5IA3YkRA&cbp=12,93.54,,0,-5.74 Shift the view...
