A co-chair of the national convention of the Green Party of the United States said during a pre-convention press conference that the current violence on the streets begins with the police. Breitbart Texas’ Bob Price asked Green Party media coordinator Scott McLarty about the Party’s position on the Black Lives Matter movement and the violence against police that has grown out of that movement.

What started as a would-be arrest at a Kansas motel ended with four federal agents shot and the motel engulfed in flames. Officers from the U.S. Marshals Service's Fugitive Task Forces were looking for a suspect Saturday night at the Country Club Motel, Topeka police Lt. Colleen Stuart said. But when they reached the motel, someone opened fire and struck two U.S. marshals, an FBI agent and a fourth federal agent, Stuart said. It was not immediately clear which agency the fourth agent belonged to. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening, Stuart said.

Two New York City police officers were shot in the Bronx on Thursday night, and one was gravely injured, a law-enforcement official said. The circumstances were not immediately clear, but the official said the officers were on duty when they were shot around the Melrose Jackson Houses near 156th Street. The condition of the second was not immediately clear.

Sand City, CA. Two officers were shot in Sand City outside the Target shopping center.It appears there were two gunmen. Shots were fired during a confrontation. A Jacksonville homeowner thought she may have been robbed Sunday, but realized instead her home had been altered by a SWAT team. Deborah Franz was told to leave her home by police during a standoff with her neighbor over the weekend. According to WTEV-TV, Franz overheard loud fighting next door, and then saw SWAT team members swarm the street. “The cop goes ‘You all need to leave, you can’t be in your house,’” Franz told the station.

Cops bloodied an 84-year-old man and put him in the hospital Sunday when he jaywalked at an Upper West Side intersection and didn’t appear to understand their orders to stop, witnesses said. Kang Wong was strolling north on Broadway and crossing 96th Street at around 5 p.m., when an officer told him to halt because he had walked against the light. Police were targeting jaywalkers in the area following the third pedestrian fatality this month around West 96th Street. Wong, who lives a block away, appeared to not understand the cop, the witnesses said.
