Now that Bill Maher has obtained a minority interest in the NY Mets, surely there will be some changes made to bring the team in line with what is most important to Bill. Rumor has it, these changes are under consideration: ;-) All employees will receive equal pay, from management to players to ticket takers. No player will be allowed to have greater accomplishments than any other. If a pitcher throws a no-hitter, he must not do so again until all the other pitchers have also done it. All genders, ethnicities, races, and sexual preferences will be equally represented on...

I forced myself to watch Bill Maher this Friday as I was trying to chart out this column. Thankfully I hadn’t just eaten. It was sickening to listen as cerebral dwarves Maher and some not-so-bright jackass from the fascist rag The Nation talked about how Republicans and the Tea Party are evil and the cause of all our economic problems while Rhodes Scholar and former U.S. Sen. Bill Bradley, D-N.J. sat there smirking like a broken Muppet. The world in which progressives live makes the world J.K. Rowling created for Harry Potter seem normal. And it wasn’t just the economy...

See the video and learn more at www.RestoreOurFuture.com. Ann Romney raised 5 boys. She successfully battled breast cancer and multiple sclerosis. But what does White House insider Hilary Rosen say about Ann Romney? "Guess what, his wife has actually never worked a day in her life." And Bill Maher, who gave $1 million supporting Obama, attacks: "Ann Romney has never gotten her ass out of the house." Happy Mother's Day from Barack Obama's Team! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV6Dn8qMzig

On his HBO show "Real Time," host Bill Maher spent six minutes discussing his strong opposition to "hate crime laws." "One more aspect of this (Treyvon Martin case) which is hate crimes, and I know that you've (pointing to Andrew Sullivan) written about this. Some people think that a hate crime is a thought crime and this shouldn't be some separate category, a crime is a crime. It's an action. Is that what you guys believe? That's what I believe," Maher said to his panel comprised of Andrew Sullivan, Wendy Schiller and Glenn Greenwald. "It's totally what I believe," Andrew...

Two fellow Alaskan women, Kirsten Powers and Penny Lee, penned a letter to the New York Times calling out misogynist attacks on women in public life. They included this interesting aside: “Coincidentally we both hail from Alaska — where women are treated as equals — so perhaps our threshold for this kind of behavior is less than here in the Lower 48.” As an Alaskan woman, I completely agree. Women up here do not tolerate the sexist stereotyping and behavior. Up here, I’m constantly around commercial fishermen who curse like sailors, oil field workers with hardcore blue collar work ethics,...

While generally condemning the use of "demeaning language" used against women in public life, Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke declined to comment on Bill Maher's used of vulgar terms to describe former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. (Snip) After she spoke, CNSNews.com asked Fluke: “You said we shouldn’t tolerate demeaning language for women. Should we tolerate Bill Maher for calling Sarah Palin some of the stuff he’s said?” Fluke responded: “I’m not going to speak about particular labels that have been applied to particular women. But no matter who is demeaning women, it’s always unacceptable.”

(Video is at the link) Listening to the Democrats, you would think Rush Limbaugh had committed a war crime. His use of the terms “prostitute” and “slut” that he offered as possible descriptors of leftist agitator Sandra Fluke, and for which he subsequently apologized has been the rallying cry of every lefty feminist in sight, but Democrats generally as they seek to make as many miles on this as they can. The problem is that contrary to the shrill refrain, it’s not having quite the effect the Democrats had hoped, and what seems to be happening is that there has...

Bill Maher: "If Irish Americans can manage to celebrate their heritage in just one day then Southerners should be able to do also. That's right, instead of spending the whole year flying the Confederate flag and saying 'the South will rise again,' you get just one day. We'll call it 'St. Cracker's Day.'"

***WARNING Graphic Words President Barack Obama makes a two-city, five-stop re-election fundraising blitz on Friday, jetting to his hometown of Chicago for a pair of events and then on to Atlanta for three more, including one featuring R&B star Cee Lo Green and another at the home of actor and director Tyler Perry. Cee Lo? Really? So after the left ran around palms up screaming about Rush Limbaugh calling Ms. Fluke a “slut,” President Obama is having a fundraiser headlined by the guy who said this: I’ll put the barrel to your baby momma belly and squeeze off two

While both Rush Limbaugh and HBO's Bill Maher have used offensive language against women whose political views they oppose, Representative Shelley Berkely (D-Nev) attempted to explain why she feels one should be banned and the other not. “First of all, there is the issue of impact,” Berkely said. “Limbaugh's audience numbers in the millions. Maher, on the other hand, has maybe a few thousand fans. Since so few people have actually heard what Maher has said, his remarks are more along the lines of a private conversation. I mean, why ban someone that hardly anyone is listening to?” “Second, is...

Say what you want about Bill Maher; he is not a stupid man. But in an interview today with ABC's Jake Tapper, he sure sounds like one: Bill Maher: The bit I did about Palin using the word c—, one of the biggest laughs in my act, I did it all over the country, not one person ever registered disapproval, and believe me, audiences are not afraid to let you know. Because it was a routine where that word came in at just the right moment. Context is very important, (snip) stand-up comedy is the final frontier of free speech.

Bill Maher spoke with ABC’s Jake Tapper about whether there was a double standard for liberals using offensive language towards conservative women. In the interview, the HBO host responded to the criticism over his obscene remarks about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and defended calling her the c-word. Tapper asked Maher, in the wake of the controversy over Rush Limbaugh‘s comments about Sandra Fluke, whether there was a double standard, with the media accepting offensive language when it is used by liberals against conservative women. “Is that a fair comparison? You have certainly used offensive words to describe some politicians...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Folks, again I tell you: These two polls, the New York Times and the Washington Post on Monday of this week, have thrown this White House for a loop. I have sound bites coming in mere moments where members of the State-Controlled Media are now attacking the intelligence of people who are polled and asking, "Are the polls broken?" (laughing) We get some State-Controlled Media polls that look bad for Obama and they run stories, "Are these polls broken? Are the people in the polls stupid?" They have what they think is the smartest, slickest, most-polished president...

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Sunday dismissed calls for a pro-President Barack Obama super PAC to return comedian Bill Maher’s $1 million donation following accusations of sexism over comments he’s made about 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and other women. The issue has received particular attention in the wake of a video from a pro-conservative women group calling out the “double standard” in the way Maher and Rush Limbaugh’s “slut” comment have been treated. Asked on ABC’s “This Week” whether Maher’s money should be returned, Schumer said no. “The bottom line is that Rush Limbaugh’s comments were just nasty...

In the below Los Angeles Superior Court complaint, Nancy Johnson, a centerfold model and former flight attendant also known as Coco Johnsen, alleges that Maher, 48, reneged on promises to pay her expenses and purchase a Beverly Hills home. Gloria Allred has sent a letter to Denise Nieman, the County Prosecutor in West Palm Beach, Florida, on behalf of the Women’s Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund, asking for an investigation into whether Rush Limbaugh violated Florida defamation law when he called Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute." Allred cites Section 836.04 of Florida Statute, which says that "whoever speaks of and concerning any woman, married or unmarried, falsely and maliciously imputing to her a want of chastity, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree."

Three weeks ago, misogynist Bill Maher donated $1 million to Barack Obama's super PAC. A surprise donation Thursday from comedian Bill Maher made a Super PAC supporting President Obama $1 million richer. The promise of the big check came during a live performance of Maher's stand-up show, CrazyStupidPolitics. Maher tweeted later that the donation to Priorities USA Action had been a surprise to Yahoo!, which broadcast the show. Now, in light of the Sandra Fluke debacle and the left's continuing attack on Rush Limbaugh for calling the 30-year-old activist, which he later apologized for (the apology was rejected), ShePAC is out...
