<p>NEW YORK — Freedom of speech is a right many Americans have been exercising lately in speaking out against war. But despite what’s been making headlines in the papers and getting coverage on TV, not all the demonstrations are against military action in Iraq.</p>

WASHINGTON (GOPUSA News) -- A few hundred people braved the damp cold in Washington on Saturday to wave American flags and cheer speakers on the National Mall. The "Patriot's Rally for America" was organized by the D.C. Chapter of The Free Republic, a conservative activist group. The program opened with a recitation of the Red Skelton version of the Pledge of Allegiance by Frank Davis, Capt. USNR (Ret.). It was particularly poignant since the 9th Circuit Court's ban on "under God" in the Pledge was not overturned last week. The first speaker, UPI columnist John Armor, reminded those in attendance...

Glenn Beck's Rally for America - San Antonio!March 1, 2003 Higher Quality Versions: MEDIUM | HIGH | SUPER HIGH RESOLUTIONThe San Antonio Rally for America, hosted by Glenn Beck was well attended despite cold temperatures, fog, and a faint drizzle throughout the event. The 8,000 seat Verizon Wireless Amphitheater was filled to capacity. Because the surrounding streets to this venue are inadequate to heavy traffic, cars were backed up for at least a mile or more and people were still arriving 45 minutes after the scheduled start of 11:00 AM. The start was pushed back several times while patriotic music...

Byline: MARK SHANAHAN Staff Writer Concerned that recent anti-war protests could have a "deleterious psychological effect" on U.S. troops, Carole Graves stood in a steady rain Saturday, gripping an American flag. Graves was among about 50 Mainers who gathered here to show support for President Bush, and for the men and women who will risk their lives in the event of a war with Iraq."There have been so many demonstrations by people who seem not to understand the issues," Graves said. "We do understand.......

Rallies in Seoul Differ on U.S., Highlighting a Generation GapBy KEITH BRADSHER EOUL, South Korea, March 1 — South Koreans took to the streets today for two large demonstrations that underlined a deep generational divide here in attitudes toward North Korea and the United States, as tensions between those countries continued to rise. A rally at noon in front of Seoul's City Hall turned into the largest pro-American, anti-North Korean gathering in recent memory. Up to 100,000 people, most of whom appeared old enough to remember the Korean War, showed up to hear speeches by prominent conservatives and retired...

The media has been intentionally ignoring Pro-U.S. protests, rallies, and events. Please cut-and-paste this open letter to the media and email it to the media at the addresses below. ____________________________________________________________ An Open Letter To The Media I am writing to express my dismay at your refusal to give visible news coverage to anti-anti-war, or pro-U.S., protests and rallies. It is both intellectually dishonest and further evidence of media bias against certain groups and sentiments. Fox News has been continually derided as biased or pro-conservative. However, Fox News is, in reality, simply the only media outlet that gives fair coverage to...

Anti-War Protestors put on an ugly face Saturday Afternoon - being pretty much confined to a single corner at the intersection of Brea and Imperial Hwy. Apparently, they don't like sharing the intersection with people who don't agree with them.

A massive, pro-American, anti-Kim Jong il rally was held yesterday (Saturday, 1 March 2003) in Downtown Seoul, Korea. Pro-American signs and American flags were everywhere to be seen. Anti-Kim Jong-il slogans and burning North Korean flags were also the order of the day. There were estimates by the police and organizers of upwards of 300,000 people. The South Korean press and Fox TV says 100,000 turned out Saturday. But the mainstream IDIOTIC U.S. PRESS, particularly CNN and photo reports still viewed on Yahoo News, continue both the blatant lie from their earlier reporting that the pro-USA rally saw only 20,000-30,000 South...

My son and I stood alone in Support of Our Troops today at the corner of Hwy 20 and 101 on the rural Oregon Coast. Around us were 20 or so Anti-war protestors. They all left at 1pm and we stayed out until 2pm He used his wheelchair to hold 5 large signs Support Our Troops. A billboard on wheels if you will. He is very well liked in our community so amongst the honkers were allot of "hey Chris" yells and waving. A young boy kept going from corner to corner frantic on his bike. He finally came up...

About 150 backers of President Bush's policy toward Iraq gathered in the gray, slushy cold near the Washington Monument yesterday to express support for U.S. military forces gathering in the Persian Gulf and to urge the prompt ouster of Saddam Hussein.

<p>NEW YORK — As time runs out for Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein to disarm or face a military thrashing from the United States and its allies, "pro-war" — or "anti-anti-war" — Americans are saying they have had enough of the recent protests in various cities at home and abroad.</p>

The wet Saturday weather didn’t stop close to 8,000 people from showing up to “Rally for America.” “We love them and they’re doing a good thing for us and I mean there’s a lot of people at home that wouldn’t want to go and they’re going there to support us so we will support them,” said one person at the rally. They came from all over Texas and some from as far away as Oklahoma to the Clear Channel Verizon Amphitheater pay tribute to men and women protecting America.

<p>What does bashing a French car with a sledgehammer have to do with peace?</p>
<p>''Nothing,'' said radio host Steve Gill at the WWTN (99.7 FM) ''Bash A Peugeot For Peace'' rally on Broadway yesterday. ''But most of the peace rallies have nothing to do with peace, either. They're just attacking America. By calling our rally this, we just wanted to underline that point.''</p>

About 100/125 happy people today rallied in front of the Bangor Mall to show support for our men and women in uniform.Unlike the so-called peace protestors who are a sullen angry lot, this crowd was happy, smiling and laughing, confident that they were supporting the right side in the freest country in the world. It was a bright sunny day, warm with a hint of spring in the air for the first time, which probably accounted for the high traffic count. The rally was organized by former State Rep. Dick Campbell of Brewer on pretty short notice and with almost no publicity,...

Blue skies with temperatures in the mid-sixties during the noon hour greeted 10 patriots and "Rudy" today as they gathered with signs and flags to show support for the USA and our troops serving the cause of FReedom. Horns were sounding and smiles, waves and thumbs-up signals from the passing motorists at the intersection of McHenry and Briggsmore in north Modesto were the order of the day. Across the street, 14 anti-war activists presented their signs to the public, (nary an American Flag present) but garnered very little support from the passing vehicles.FReepers HDRider, fxrdeb, and Diver Dave along with...

It seems a lot of people, Freepers and just ordinary Americans alike, are sick and tired of the lies and propaganda that the anti-American crowd has been forcing down the throats of the American people. In a rally earlier today at Jones Plaza, located in downtown Houston, TX, a crowd estimated at over 10,000 people showed their appreciation for their President, their freedom, and the brave people (i.e. the military) that protect it. Before I begin the rally recap, special kudos to talk radio station KPRC (950-AM) for organizing and sponsoring this rally; in less than two weeks, they lined...

In like a lion, out like a lamb! March 1st at the Columbia Post Office, sides squared off immediately. The peace delegation dispatched their French woman to the “warmonger” camp to yell at us about Vietnam. She screamed about how many died in the Vietnam War and we should be ashamed to have forgotten; to which we replied that after we abandoned Vietnam, 2 million more died at the hands of Pol Pot. She insisted it was not true, it never happened. We stated it was true; hadn’t she ever heard of the Killing Fields, Cambodian Boat People? We about...

Like an old familiar pair of bluejeans, I slipped back in time to our life and death struggle against the Clinton/Gore Crime Syndicate on Saturday. Here in Northern Wisconsin, we have had a well organized but misguided Anti-war Anti-American Peace protest. This poorly dressed and hopelessly brainwashed group has held weekend gatherings at the intersection of two state highways in Minocqua/Woodruff Wisconsin for the last month. They are twenty in number and wave all sorts of the traditional atheist rhetoric at passing traffic. Today I finally snapped! After asking at least five other folks to come along and being rejected,...

Texas Stands Tall! Thousands showed up in downtown Houston. Jackson-Lee showed up to be politely booed. Texans support President Bush and America. Not a single dissenter in the crowd of thousands.

Approximately 200 people attended the rally in Spokane, WA. Former mayor of Spokane Joel Crosby came to speak, Jim Ahern, state legislator showed up unexpectedly and spoke. Several parents with sons in the Gulf currently came as well. Short rally with then people stayed to rally along the road. What a great bunch of Americans. Everyone wants to rally again, so mark March 22nd on your calendar and stay tuned to Free Republic for the details.
