WASHINGTON — Visit the website of Michigan-based design firm Teal Media today and you’d never know designers there helped create HealthCare.gov, the troubled online portal for Obamacare. Just a few days ago, the site looked very different. Teal Media’s homepage featured its work on Obamacare prominently, placing a link to the firm’s work on one of the most well-known websites in America front and center. Now that link, as well as the page devoted to Teal’s work on HealthCare.gov, have been removed.

Even as President Obama and his administration are making a last minute push to encourage enrollment in Obamacare, a quiet change was made on the Healthcare.gov website regarding those who will still not be able to afford coverage after the program kicks in. The owner of a specialty deli at Findlay Market wants her store’s name removed from an ad President Obama used to explain his record on small business. Ten seconds into the ad “Always,” an employee is shown from behind, pushing up the security door of Krause’s while Obama talks about owners sacrificing to make their businesses run. The owner of the store, Debra Krause-McDonnell, said she did not give permission for her business to be shown and that some customers have told her they’ll no longer shop there. National Public Radio has joined Snopes and UPI among websites that have changed their archives regarding Barack Obama to bring their stories into alignment, in NPR's case eliminating a statement about the "Kenyan-born" senator "since Obama was born in Hawaii." WND reported recently when the archives of the subsidized broadcast outlet referenced Obama's birthplace as Kenya and called him a "son of Africa."
