In the wake of a pair of terrorists slaying a British soldier in the streets of London, talk show host Michael Savage pointed out Wednesday one key difference between the United States and the United Kingdom: Second Amendment rights. “Now what stands between us and what happened in London?” Savage asked. “Guns, guns, guns — only guns, only guns. And this very same gang that wants to flood this country with 50 million, 30 million, 20 million, 11 million — you pick the number, pick it out of a hat — illegal aliens, it’s all amnesty for every one of...

In a ruling that is being compared to the case that led to free agency in baseball, a federal judge in California upheld an arbitration panel’s decision to release talk-radio host Michael Savage from a contract with his former syndicator, Talk Radio Network. Savage’s lawyer, Dan Horowitz, called it a landmark case for talk radio. “Michael is to talk radio what Curt Flood was to Major League Baseball,” Horowitz told WND, referring to the player who challenged baseball’s reserve clause, which kept a player bound to his team even after fulfillment of his contract. Savage told WND the ruling “should...

BERGHOLZ, Ohio - Bare feet and work boots shuffle on the wooden floor of the Amish schoolhouse as the children settle into tight rows of scuffed metal desks across the room from their parents — the men on one set of benches, women on another, some cradling younger children. They have gathered to celebrate the end of school, but no one claps or cheers. The only voices raised are those of the students as they begin singing, the melodies rising and dipping like the surrounding hills. A warm breeze carries the religious lyrics, mostly in German, through open windows and...

Talkers magazine publishes a "Top Talk Radio Audiences" list, now with the new monthly PPM ratings system they publish the list every month. Savage was on top of that list since i can remember at 10 million behind Rush (15 mill) and Sean (13) Now i was shocked to see Savage with only 3.5 million on the bottom. This is so sad, makes me wonder if this whole Cumulus thing was worthed.

When Sean Hannity suddenly “evolved” his position on amnesty to accommodate his idol Marco Rubio, I can't say I was surprised. All of Fox News has been in the tank for so long that it was inevitable. I don't see how someone, at his age and given the enormous amount of evidence against illegal immigration, could morph all of that into a 180 degree position. He didn't even pretend to put up a fight for Americans. He folded like a deck of cards. It was painful to watch someone so wimpified by someone he admires. But when Glenn Beck this...

Talkers, the definitive magazine covering the talk radio industry released its annual “Heavy Hundred” list of the most important hosts in the country. Many of these top talkers were interviewed for the book, while three of the top 20 hosts in the country praised The Right Frequency: The Story of the Talk Radio Giants Who Shook Up the Political and Media Establishment by Fred V. Lucas (History Publishing Co.). Mark Levin, nationally syndicated conservative radio host, ranked #7 on the Talkers list and said: “Fred Lucas not only delineates the roots of talk radio as a venue for communicating conservative...

Almost daily it flirts with Rush Limbaugh and Wendy Williams on Amazon’s Best Seller List for Radio History and Criticism. One day it is wedged between the two, another day it slips back a notch or two only to scramble back to Rush’s rear guard.. It is Fred Lucas’s The Right Frequency; The Story of the Talk Radio Giants who Shook up the Political and Media Establishment. While Zev Chafetz’ best seller on Rush Limbaugh focuses solely on Rush and Wendy focuses on her experience, Fred Lucas delves into the whole world of talk radio and opens up on Glen...

Conservative radio host Michael Savage spoke out against Republicans and Democrats alike on Sunday for pulling a "charade" on the American people, and called for a third political party. "We need a Nationalist party in the United States of America," Savage said on WABC's "Aaron Klein Investigative Radio," according to WND. The third-most widely heard talk show host, behind only Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity in ratings, explained a new, third "Nationalist" party could focus on "borders, language and culture." "There is no Republican Party," Savage told talk show host Aaron Klein. "It's an appendage of the Democrat machine, as...

It was almost laughable on Election Night when the analysts began explaining why Mitt Romney lost. It was because of his extreme position on border security. It was because Republicans picked candidates that were too extreme. It was because Republicans denied manmade, catastrophic “climate change” was real. And this was on what many Americans believe to be the “fair and balanced” network, Fox. Some even believe it to be a “conservative” alternative to the rest of the statist media jackals. I thought the cacophony would die down by now, but it hasn’t. Mitt Romney doesn’t have an extremist bone in...

Starting Monday, Oct. 15, Humphries’ program – the 8th largest syndicated talk show in America – moves to afternoon drive, to be heard on a total of 285 stations across the country. The move is part of the shakeup that occurred after Michael Savage’s successful lawsuit against his long-time syndication company made him a “free agent.” Finally able to get out of his contract, Savage departed the airwaves earlier this month. While he hints that he’ll be back on terrestrial radio “within the next two weeks,” his sudden departure prompted Talk Radio Network to move Jerry Doyle into Savage’s old...

San Francisco conservative talk show host Michael Savage - off the air since last month after winning a legal battle with his bosses - expects to be back behind a microphone within two weeks. "The Jerry Doyle Show The Jerry Doyle Show Published 1-Oct-2012 in TRN Central News Central Point, OR – Today begins the first in a series of changes to bring talk radio firmly into the 21st century. For too long, we’ve had to choose between ratings and salability, but no longer. Today the 6th largest syndicated talk show in America replaces what was the 3rd largest show, and in so doing, stations will get more light and less heat, a show that they can sell locally with pride, but also a show that will respect its stations, advertisers and audiences with...
