RICHMOND, Ind. — A man who led police on a three-county chase in August is in jail again, this time on public nudity charges. David Simpson, 22, address at large, is in Wayne County Jail on a charge of public nudity after police say he was found running naked in Glen Miller Park in Richmond Wednesday night. In August, Simpson allegedly drove a stolen BMW from Indianapolis to Englewood at speeds of 110 miles per hour. Multiple law enforcement jurisdictions were engaged in a chase with the stolen vehicle. Simpson attempted to drive through a closed construction area on Interstate...

Parents are outraged after a pack of California Cub Scouts on a nature hike ended up on a nude beach. The group of fourth graders, parents and volunteers was hiking along the San Diego coastline on Jan. 24 when they stumbled upon dozens of naked people at the clothing optional Black's Beach. One of the scouts' mothers said, "I was nauseated because I had never seen a bunch of nude people just walking around holding hands, strange people that I don't know."

FBI Director James Comey gave a strong speech today (Oct. 16) explaining why law enforcement should have access to data on encrypted smartphones. But he failed to cite any examples in which such law-enforcement access could have made the difference between life and death.... The Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) of 1994 mandates that telecommunications companies must give police the ability to listen in on telephone conversations. CALEA covers landlines and cellular carriers, and was expanded in 2004 to cover Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) providers and broadband Internet service providers. For the past few years, the FBI...

Germans are often considered to be more at one with nature than us prudish Brits. And now residents of the country's third-largest city have been given the go ahead to strip off for all over sunbathing sessions in six designated spaces. According to a report in TheAtlanticCities.com the six Urban Naked Zones are located in parkland, offering privacy, but also only minutes away from the busy city centre. The 'zones' were introduced following the expiry of statewide laws controlling nude sunbathing last year.

Earlier this month a young, female Bosnian judge was photographed from nearby offices working out and sunbathing in the nude on her office desk... Once the above snapshot was handed to Sarajevo police, an internal investigation at the court building found her to be a justice on Bosnia's High Court(!) She was promptly fired when the image hit the newspapers and her identity revealed- but in Saudi Arabia they'd have boiled her in oil... And they've got a dark/naughty sense of humor over there, too: Three men die on Christmas Eve, an Englishman, an Italian and a Bosnian, and they all go to...

DALLAS, September 13, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Dallas-area homosexual activists reacted with anger and disappointment this week after city officials pledged to crack down on lewdness and nudity at the annual gay pride parade. While past parades have featured bare-breasted women and men in tight, wet underwear with visible genitalia, Dallas law enforcement said the city will no longer turn a blind eye to such violations of city and state law. The pride parade rules now state: “In accordance with the city of Dallas public nudity ordinance, parade participants must not expose genitalia, buttocks, or female breasts.”

VANCOUVER, B.C., August 12, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – When homosexual news service Daily Xtra reported last week that both Vancouver police and city officials “confirmed they had no issues with public nudity” at the city’s annual gay Pride Parade, LifeSiteNews.com (LSN) deemed necessary a fact check with the guardians of law and order. Canada’s Criminal Code makes it illegal to be nude in a “public place.” Section 174 states that a person who is “so clad as to offend against public decency or order” is “guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction.” While reports about this year’s August 4 gay...

Regulators are extending the comment period on a controversial proposal to ease restrictions on cursing and “nonsexual nudity” over public airwaves. The action drew fire Monday from opponents of the idea, who have called upon the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to scrap the plan and salvage the final vestiges of family-friendly broadcasting. Back in April, the FCC put out a call for feedback on a plan to focus on the most egregious cases of indecency. If adopted, the less stringent regulations would reflect a shift from George W. Bush-era policies of pursuing penalties for isolated infractions on broadcast television. The...

In 2008, Julius Genachowski served as candidate Barack Obama’s Chairperson of the Technology. Upon winning the Presidency, Obama thanked the lawyer by appointing him to serve as Chairman of the nation’s Federal Communications Commission. In September 2012, Genachowski instructed Commission staff to begin reviewing the Commission’s broadcast indecency policies and enforcement, arguing that present day indecency laws may not be in step with “First Amendment principles.”.....

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 4, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The FCC is seeking comments from the public as they consider relaxing their obscenity standards for broadcast television and radio. If adopted the new, lower standards would allow brief “non-sexual” nudity and isolated expletives even during prime time, when most families are typically watching with their children. Currently, broadcasters face heavy fines for violations of the indecency policy, which bans strong curse words and most nudity. But as media culture grows coarser, the backlog of reported offenses has grown unmanageable for the FCC, leading Chairman Julius Genachowski to order the Enforcement Bureau to...

An "inexperienced" nudist who decided to join the ranks of naked men in the Castro district before the city banned most public nudity has been acquitted of indecent exposure - a criminal charge that his attorney said was the result of a big misunderstanding. Richard Sierra, 48, had been accused of inappropriately touching himself in public, but his lawyer told a jury in San Francisco Superior Court that Sierra had simply been uncomfortable exposing himself completely and arranging himself in a way that gave a passer-by the wrong impression. On Thursday, the jury acquitted him. It all started Nov. 11,...

If you want to understand leftism — and everyone needs to, because it has been the most dynamic religion of the past one hundred years — one good place to start is with San Francisco. Or, perhaps more precisely, with nudity. Or, even more precisely, with public nudity. Last month, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted by the barest (pun not intended) margin, 6 to 5, to ban public nudity. By “public nudity,” the law means only displaying one’s genitals in public. San Francisco women are still free to walk around topless. But that is not unique to San...

San Francisco nudists said on Monday they would continue to walk the streets naked regardless of a proposed law that would order them to cover up. City authorities are meeting on Tuesday to decide on a new anti-nudity law that is being supported by residents and business owners in the city's Castro district. The law would make it an offence for anyone over the age of five to "expose his or her genitals, perineum or anal region on any public street, sidewalk, street median, parklet or plaza". Lloyd Fishbach, left, who was standing naked at the corner of Castro and...

SAN FRANCISCO, November 19, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) - The pendulum of the sexual revolution may be swinging slightly back toward sanity in San Francisco, as the city is set to vote on a new law that may bar public nudity – except at the city’s gay pride march and other events covered by permit. The ordinance, introduced by Supervisor Scott Wiener who oversees the city’s homosexual Castro District, would make it illegal for any adult and most children to “expose his or her genitals, perineum, or anal region” in public. The behavior of some naturalists at the district’s public plaza pushed...

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- San Francisco may be getting ready to shed its image as a city where anything goes, including clothing. City lawmakers are scheduled to vote Tuesday on an ordinance that would prohibit nudity in most public places, a blanket ban that represents an escalation of a two-year tiff between a devoted group of men who strut their stuff through the city's famously gay Castro District and the supervisor who represents the area. Supervisor Scott Wiener's proposal would make it illegal for a person over the age of 5 to "expose his or her genitals, perineum or anal...

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A San Francisco supervisor is fed up with the almost-daily displays of nudity in one city neighborhood. Supervisor Scott Wiener plans to introduce legislation on Tuesday that would make it illegal to walk around nude on San Francisco streets. The city currently allows nudity except in parks, on port property and in restaurants. Wiener's legislation would add city plazas, parklets, sidewalks, streets and public transit to the ban. It would, however, allow nudity at parades and street festivals.

Maybe not. The Parents Television Council (PTC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating parents about television content, has released a new study looking at nudity on prime-time broadcast television which reveals a major increase over the 2011-2012 season. The study found that there were 76 incidents of full nudity on 37 shows compared to 15 incidents in 14 shows the previous ratings season, representing a 407 percent rise in incidents. Almost 70 percent of the scenes that featured such nudity were on shows which aired prior to 9pm, compared to 50 percent of the full nudity scenes which aired before...
