During his opening monologue tonight, Bill Maher admitted he was not happy with how President Obama did during his first big debate this week. He told his audience that Obama undeniably “sucked” during the debate, and surmised that the million dollars he gave to the campaign was probably spent on weed. Maher surmised that because Wednesday was Obama’s anniversary, “he apparently had the sex first and was completely spent” for the debate. He contrasted Romney looking “charged up” with Obama looking like Michael Jackson on diprivan. Maher admitted that Obama “sucked” during the debate, and made a joke referencing...

The mother superior of a 1500-year-old monastery in Syria warned yesterday during a visit to Australia that the uprising against Bashar al-Assad has been hijacked by foreign Islamist mercenaries, with strong support from Western countries. Mother Agnes-Mariam de la Croix was forced to flee to neighbouring Lebanon in June when she was warned of a plot to abduct her, after she revealed that about 80,000 Christians had been "cleared" by rebel forces from their homes in Homs province. She described on the website of the Greek-Melkite Catholic monastery of St James, the church she rebuilt 18 years ago after discovering...

Leadership is a trait known to many, learned by some and perfected by few. It is not something that can be inherited or passed on or even learned in a textbook. It’s about taking responsibility, and has to be earned on a daily basis. John F. Kennedy perhaps described it best: “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.” Ronald Reagan praised Kennedy’s words of wisdom, adding his...

Routed at the all-important first presidential debate, Obama sought to vent his frustrations as his opponent catapulted to the lead in battleground states. Obama---AKA the Hush Puppy President---had to show he really did have strength and good talking points---and that he could actually dominate an intelligent discussion. "For crying out loud," Obama berated Michele, using debate-style assertiverness, "Is it too much to ask that you buy cheese that stays on the frickin' cracker?" Shell-shocked Obama campaign aides were more circumspect---some requested Michele get aerosol Cheeze Whiz to ease their post-debate cheesiness. As flop-sweating Obama aides waited for more suitable cheese,...

Obama wasted trillions on favors to crony capitalists and unemployment rate stayed above 8% for 43 straight months. Romney won the first debate and next day government-reported unemployment rate droped down to 7.8 Isn't it a miracle? Any ideas what can happen, if Romney wins the next debate?

Poll: Jewish Democrats Abandoning Obama for Romney, Economy, IsraelBy Karen Levy Israel News AgencyNew York, New York --- October 4, 2012 ... Jewish Democrats who have voted for Democratic Presidents in the past four Presidential elections are now jumping ship and plan on voting for the economic and foreign policies advocated by US Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. The INA poll, which was released after the first Presidential debate last night where Mitt Romney clearly buried a depressed and nervous Barack Obama, illustrates that over fifty percent of all democratic voters are now either unsure or committed to voting for the...

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama on Friday hailed a drop in the U.S. jobless rate to the lowest level since he took office, saying the country had "come too far to turn back now," as he sought to recover from a lackluster debate performance against Republican challenger Mitt Romney. A decline in unemployment to 7.8 percent in September, announced just more than four weeks before Election Day, gave an unexpected shine to the most vulnerable part of Obama's record - his economic stewardship - and offered him a chance to reset his re-election bid. The rate dropped from 8.1 percent...

HH: Broadcasting from the CPAC convention in Denver on the day after the most devastating loss in the history of presidential debates suffered by Barack Obama, the Agincourt of presidential debates. Call it Midway, call it Dien Bien Phu, call it whatever you want, it was a rout. And who will call it best? Mark Steyn, of course, Columnist To the World. Mark, welcome, what did you think of last night? MS: Well, I’m not sure I’d go as far as, what did you say, Midway, Agincourt… HH: Agincourt, Midway and Dien Bien Phu, because John Kerry was involved. We...

Going into this week's first presidential debate Democrats were confident that the most brilliant man to ever hold the office would easily trounce his challenger. However, 67% of voters who saw the debate judged Romney to have won. Only 25% saw Obama as the winner. Obama campaign strategist, David Axelrod blamed debate moderator Jim Lehrer for allowing Romney “too much leeway. Time after time the President was left to fend for himself against repeated attacks on his policies. Lehrer failed to come to the President's aid despite numerous opportunities to do so.” Axelrod expressed the hope that “our other friends...

Ok guys and gals.. so over the last 4 years we've all talked about the scenarios. And now we're here. We're at the tipping point. Obama just got destroyed in the first debate. What will he do in order to hang onto power? We know he's desperate. Will he? Start a war? Declare martial law? Try and cancel the election? Invade Libya? PLUS here's another frightening scenario.. Obama loses the election but still has a little bit of time in office left. He begins to REALLY sell America out by giving our enemies everything he can. Every secret, everything they...

BERLIN, N.H. (AP) — Mitt Romney is a part-time resident of this tiny state, and his fiscally conservative, socially moderate tenure as governor of neighboring Massachusetts once seemed a good match for New Hampshire’s independent and libertarian-leaning electorate. Yet, Romney trails President Barack Obama in polls here, as he does in most other presidential battlegrounds, despite spending considerable time and money to lock up the state’s four Electoral College votes...

A new poll shows a slight change in the presidential race immediately following Wednesday night's debate in Denver, with a 4-point lead for President Obama the day before the debate becoming a 1-point deficit the day after his uninspiring peformance. On Tuesday, the Washington, D.C. -based Clarus Research Group surveyed 590 likely voters and found Obama leading Mitt Romney, 49 percent to 45 percent. On Thursday, Clarus found, in an identical number of interviews, that Romney had inched ahead by 1 point, 47 percent to 46 percent. Obama's support slipped by 3 points and Romney's ticked up by 2 points....

It’s bad enough when the universal consensus is that you lost the first presidential debate. What’s worse for President Obama is that his own team concedes he did so without telling the truth. Stephanie Cutter, Mr. Obama’s deputy campaign manager essentially called her boss a liar on Thursday. During the previous night’s contest, Mitt Romney refused to allow the president to get away with saying the GOP tax plan would result in a $5 trillion cut that is not paid for. “My No. 1 principle is there will be no tax cut that adds to the deficit,” the former Massachusetts...

Thousands of President Obama supporters turned out in in Madison, Wisc., for a rally following Wednesday night’s debate in Denver. The mood was somber, to say the least, as they waited to enter Bascom Mall at the University of Wisconsin Thursday afternoon. University of Wisconsin students and fellow Wisconsinites had mixed reviews on the president's performance. I talked to supporters of the president who had watched the debate, asking how they thought the president did. One after the other said they were left unimpressed and “not inspired,” seemingly depressed and lethargic in their continuing support of the president. More than...
