As we can see , in this posted video of Rep. Nancy Pelosi addressing the Democrat House ‘Leadership ‘ Press Conference on May 22nd , 2014 , Rep. Pelosi again invokes the names of the fallen Benghazi Four and again suggests that 2 of the families have written to her and stated ” Don’t go down this path , don’t do this to us again “ ……. I would like to directly address the families of Glenn Doherty and Christopher Stevens and ask them : WHY are you in any way cooperating with the cover-up of the truth coming out...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., repeatedly put the blame for the Veterans Affairs scandal on former President George W. Bush, while arguing that her party has worked hard for veterans in recent years. Pelosi took a shot at Bush while saying that the scandal is a high priority for Obama. "He sees the ramifications of some seeds that were sown a long time ago, when you have two wars over a long period of time and many, many more, millions more veterans," she told reporters during her Thursday press briefing. "And so, I know that he is upset about...

A terrible sort of insanity has gripped the Democratic Party. On almost a daily basis, when you see the party’s leaders in action, you want to start edging toward the door, murmuring “Nice doggie. Nice doggie.” Today it was Howard Dean (filmed a week ago, but seen on YouTube today). He was addressing a Democratic crowd in Colorado, and went off on a tirade against Republicans. Yes, he really did say that Republicans aren’t American. And that they should stay away from the United States, and go to Russia where they belong. One gets the feeling that if the Democrats...

Earlier today, The Hill reported that Nancy Pelosi was ready to concede on the Benghazi select committee, and it didn’t take long for her to do so: House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., names 5 Democrats to the Benghazi select committee – @KateNocera http://t.co/iyPLvA0Ncw— Breaking News (@BreakingNews) May 21, 2014 The only surprise is that it took this long to decide. Pelosi had begun to lean in the direction of participating in the select committee on Benghazi, if for no other reason than to keep from getting left behind in the narrative. Instead of just appointing one troublemaker, though, she’ll...

WASHINGTON — Surgery patients covered by Medicaid arrive at the hospital in worse health, experience more complications, stay longer and cost more than patients with private insurance, a new study has found. The study, by researchers at the University of Michigan, may offer a preview of what to expect as millions of uninsured people qualify for Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act.

I know this isn’t really much of a shock: but Nancy Pelosi is, once again, uttering nonsense. This time, her aimless string of platitudes was focused (and I use the word “focused” rather loosely) on immigration reform. Like many of her progressive allies (in both parties) she rambled about the need for America to create a “path to citizenship”. Nancy, we already have a path to citizenship… And generally, the first step to becoming a US citizen isn’t breaking our Federal immigration laws. According to CNS News: “As a country, we cannot, let me say, we cannot prohibit a path...

Think fast: Which politicians from the other side do you merely dislike, and which do you absolutely despise? Can you say why? I was thinking about this because of Harry Reid, who really, really gets on conservatives' nerves, and seems to be constantly trying to figure out new ways to make them mad. Unlike Nancy Pelosi, who generates contempt from the right mostly for who she is (a San Francisco liberal, a woman with power), with Reid it's about what he does, specifically his propensity for saying things about conservatives that are over the top. Most liberals look at Reid...

An illegal immigrant who killed a police office while driving the wrong way in on an Arizona freeway Monday had a blood-alcohol level almost three times the legal limit, the Associated Press reported Friday. Raul Silva Corona had driven 35 miles in the wrong direction on three freeways with a blood alcohol level of .238 percent in the wee hours of Monday morning before he killed Mesa Police Officer Brandon Mendoza, according to the AP's report. In Arizona, a driver is considered intoxicated with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent. Mendoza, who served for thirteen years at the Mesa Police...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she won't decide whether Democrats will participate on the House select committee on Benghazi until after she has a meeting with Republican House Speaker John Boehner. She also says Boehner is "trying to avoid the meeting." But it was Boehner who suggested the meeting in the first place, Pelosi said Wednesday on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer." Democrats are divided on whether they should participate in the hearings, which they call a Republican witch hunt to hurt President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is expected to make...

Audio at source. (CNSNews.com) – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said today that the United States, as a country, "cannot prohibit a pathway to citizenship" for illegal aliens. “As a country, we cannot, let me say, we cannot prohibit a path to citizenship,” Pelosi said Tuesday at the Peter G. Peterson Foundation annual economic summit in Washington, D.C. “I don’t think we as a country want to be a country that says, ‘You can do our work, but you can’t have the rights of a citizen in our country,’” said Pelosi. “It’s more about who we are as a...

In the Obamanation Year of 2009, noted Democrat Intellectual, Ex-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, (also an award-winning Co-Author of the now transparently failed Affordable [sic] Healthcare Tax Law), set the Pelosi Federal Standard of Excellence with this now famous quote: "We have to pass the Affordable [sic] Healthcare Bill to find out what is in it, - - - away from the fog of the controversy." Now, in the Obamanation year of 2014, "We, the People," are being accused by the same Noted Democrat Intellectual, Ex-Speaker Nancy Pelosi, of willingly approving funding of a "Political Stunt" [her words], formally...

Families of the Benghazi victims have reached out to Democratic lawmakers and asked them not to launch another investigation into the 2012 attack that claimed the lives of four Americans, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) claimed Friday. “Two of their families have called us and said, ‘Please don’t take us down this path again,’” Pelosi said during her weekly press conference. “It’s really hard for them. It’s very sad.”

The Obamacare "winning streak" continues apace. Kaiser Health News reports on the increasing likelihood of more and more large employers dumping employees into Obamacare's exchanges. An untold number of employees will discover that they can't keep their plan, especially if they're a high-risk, high-cost employee. The Obama administration estimated that as many as 93 million Americans will lose their existing coverage under the new law, despite what the president promised repeatedly. We wrote about "targeted dumping" back in 2011. Those concerns are now being realized:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has rejected the terms of a GOP-created select committee on Benghazi, but Republicans are moving ahead without them. A top aide to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, told the Washington Examiner that the Benghazi Select Committee met today for the first time and plans to move ahead with its investigation, despite the missing Democrats. "We made a fair offer," Boehner spokesman Michael Steel said. "We hope they appoint Democrats. At this point, it's time to get to work." Pelosi, D-Calif., rejected the panel's terms in letter to Boehner that was in response to GOP proposal...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner Friday reiterating a request from a previous letter for a “minimum standard” for Democrats to proceed with a bipartisan investigation into the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate and CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya. “In that letter, we asked that Democrats have a real voice on the committee, including on (1) the issuance of subpoenas, (2) the manner in which witnesses would be questioned and deposed, and (3) the specific protocols governing how documents and other information would be obtained, used, and potentially released by the...
