Philip Perry, who is married to Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, is a partner at the same law firm representing President Joe Biden’s scandal-ridden son, Hunter. Last week, the Daily Mail reached out to Hunter Biden’s attorney for comment on a story unearthing new details to the extent the younger Biden leveraged the family name for lucrative overseas business ventures. In 2014, the paper reported, then-Vice President Biden met with a pair of Chinese energy executives connected to Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals. An attorney named Christopher Clark, who is listed with the firm Latham & Watkins as partner, responded to...

WILLIAMSPORT – A federal judge has recommended dismissal of suits aimed at removing two conservative Republicans from the May primary ballot because of their efforts to overturn the election of President Joe Biden. U.S. Middle District Magistrate Judge William I. Arbuckle on Tuesday refused to certify the suits Jeffrey D. Hill filed seeking to have Doug Mastriano and Scott Perry disqualified. State Sen. Mastriano from Franklin County is running for governor and U.S. Rep. Perry is seeking his sixth term in Congress from the 10th District that includes parts of York, Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties. “Today’s recommendation simply reinforces...

A Cumberland County man already running for office said Wednesday that he is pivoting to a bigger stage as the shock waves from Eugene DePasquale’s non-candidacy for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District continue to wash over through the midstate. Rick Coplen, a retired Army officer and current Carlisle school board member residing in Dickinson Township, has become the first - but maybe not the last - to give regional Democrats what they wanted most this week: a candidate to challenge incumbent Rep. Scott Perry, R-York County. “The family meeting to discuss this decision was short and sweet,” Coplen said in announcing...

U.S. lawmakers concerned about human rights in China, and their supporters, need to be exceedingly clear that their quarrel is with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and not with the people of China, said Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.). The many human rights abuses in China, involving myriad issues such as forced labor camps, concentration camps, organ harvesting, disappearances, and extrajudicial killings, are urgent issues that call for concerted action, but Perry said that all too often, “China” is identified as the culprit in discussions of these matters, rather than the CCP. “I think you always have to make the distinction....

Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) has announced he will not cooperate with the “illegitimate” House January 6 committee after he was asked to answer questions about the “Stop the Steal” rally that took place at the Capitol. Perry is the first member of Congress to be pursued by the Jan. 6 committee, but the committee has sent out dozens of subpoenas to President Donald Trump’s former White House staff. Over the course of its months-long investigation, the committee has yet to turn up any significant evidence to back up allegations that the Jan. 6 rally was the result of a premeditated...

Members of the Jan. 6 select committee tasked with investigating the deadly attack on the Capitol want Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) to come in and provide information to the panel regarding alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. While the panel did not subpoena Perry — an ally for former President Donald Trump who was recently elected to serve as the next chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus — the request marks the first time the committee has asked a sitting lawmaker to testify about the matter.

The House Freedom Caucus’ incoming chairman said that congressional Republicans have to devise a clear agenda and messaging ahead of the 2022 midterm elections in order to convince voters that there are distinct differences between them and establishment Democrats “in an era of freewheeling spending and large government,” Just the News reported. “We need to be in contact with more individual citizens and every single district in every state bringing the message to them so that they understand what the difference is and that there is a true difference,” Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) told the outlet.

Perry was experiencing "quite mild" symptoms and will continue working while quarantining at home as directed by the House physician, the statement added. The congressman's office also said it would not provide further comment as "this is a personal health matter." Perry's announcement comes a day after he was elected chairman of the House Freedom Caucus.

The conservative House Freedom Caucus has elected Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) as chairman of the group, replacing Rep. Andy Biffs (R-Ariz.), who was term-limited. “For the past six years, I have stood shoulder to shoulder with the men and women of the Freedom Caucus as we have tirelessly fought to hold the line to promote liberty, safety and prosperity for Americans,” Perry said in a statement on Monday evening. “I am grateful to continue to carry the torch for these champions of freedom.” Biggs will serve as chairman of the group until Jan. 1, which is when his current term...

My congressman is General Scott Perry. He is a Trump supporter. He is a member of the Freedom Caucus. He is perhaps the most conservative member from the PA congressional delegation. Sounds pretty good, right? It would seem that I should be rather pleased to have him as my congressman. But I am not.He has been AWOL throughout the Afghanistan surrender. I have written him. (And get the standard form letter reply.) I have called his office. Each day I search the www machine for news that Perry is making a stand. Just once last week there was a tacit article...

My son-in-law is in the 82nd Airborne Division and living on base at Ft. Bragg. He lives in a property with my daughter and grandson that is managed by Corvias Property Management. My grandson has been ill since their moving to Bragg last year. (It was an entirely different problem for them to get there during the Plandemic.)The property has been tested for lead (Pb) and those tests are positive. I highly doubt that is the source of my grandson's continued illness. There is also a mold problem, which would explain a lot. Mold is in the crawl space beneath...

My congresscritter, Scott Perry, introduced a bill today to defund the ChiCom Wuhan lab. This is an interview on Newsmax. Note for sensitive viewers, Gen. Perry used the "L" word during the interview. He calls FauxChi a liar and provides proof. It is refreshing to hear such word, unlike other that use euphemisms like, "Fauchi is playing word games."No folks. He is lying is ass off. He authorized grants to the Wuhan lab. Additional moneys were filtered through other organizations to fund gain of function research.FauxChi should rot in jail the rest of his life.

Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) on March 30 said that more gun laws will restrict law-abiding citizens from protecting themselves while doing little to stop violence, coming after the House passed two gun control bills last month. Most Americans consider using a gun to defend themselves as their last line of defense, Perry told The Epoch Times. “But these two bills don’t really do anything except infringe upon the rights of law abiding citizens,” he said. “Unfortunately, [lawmakers] claim it’s to address the problems of these mass shootings. But neither one of these bills would effectively make a difference in any...

A New York state lawmaker has introduced a bill that would allow the government to detain people that they deemed to be a potential public health risk. Nick Perry, Bill A416 calls for the “removal and/or detention” of individuals who are identified as a “case, contact or carrier” of a contagious disease. An MSNBC reporter was called out by a bystander for attempts to shame people not wearing masks when half of his own camera crew were not wearing them. Cal Perry was delivering a Memorial Day report from Lake Geneva as hundreds traveled to enjoy the holiday weekend in Wisconsin, where businesses have reopened post lockdown. He was caught out while delivering a live report, when he attempted to use a passer-by as an example of people not wearing masks, only for the man to hit back with 'half your crew's not wearing masks!' Perry looked sheepish as he finished up...

Rick Perry, the energy secretary who has drawn scrutiny for his role in the controversy surrounding President Trump’s efforts to push Ukraine officials to investigate the son of a political rival, on Thursday told the president he would resign from the cabinet. The Perry resignation had been anticipated for several weeks, even before the news emerged of his involvement in efforts to pressure the new president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, to investigate a company that had worked with Hunter Biden, the younger son of former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.

Energy Secretary Rick Perry urged President Trump to speak to Ukraine's president about issues related to energy and the economy during a call that contributed to the launch of an impeachment inquiry, Perry's spokeswoman told The Hill on Sunday. "Secretary Perry absolutely supported and encouraged the president to speak to the new president of Ukraine to discuss matters related to their energy security and economic development," Shaylyn Hynes said in an email. During that call, Trump encouraged Ukraine's president to investigate 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, a partial transcript released by the White House...
