The dog, thought to be a pit-bull mix, bit the 8-year-old girl on her scalp and other areas about 1:23 p.m. at a home in the 2300 block of Harper Court. A student driver's vehicle was attacked by pit bulls in Clay Township on Wednesday. The 16-year-old girl was driving in the 400 block of Middle Creek Road at 4 p.m. on Wednesday and her instructor, Connie Saylor, of Lititz, was in the front passenger seat, township police said.
