I have friends from both sides of the aisle on FB. I generally ignore their political posts, especially during elections. But I have noticed a new trend in the past week or two. The lower Hillary is in the polls, the louder, the more derisive, and the more often they are posting about Trump and his supporters. I don't think that we are even close to seeing the meltdown of Hillary's minions.

What's in it for America, and for you? The Islamic State of Iran is held to be a sovereign state bordered on its west by Iraq and Turkey, in the east by Pakistan and Afghanistan, to the north by the Caspian Sea, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, and to the south by the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. This presents the world of Asia with a land mass of over 636,000 square miles. Barack Obama said, in Oregon, in 2008, that Iran is “…a tiny country,” and that, “they don’t pose a serious threat to us.” However, how does...

America should be ruled by law. Not political correctness which apparently treats an American black president as above the law and immune from the just and proper administration of justice According to FBI files released on Friday, Obama on June 28, 2012 communicated by email using a fake name with Hillary’s private unsecure email. And as such, they knowingly passed classified information between each other outside of secure proper government controls. As a result, they are both guilty of breaching the Espionage Act and both Obama and Hillary should be going to jail. Here is the relevant section of the...

Everything that ever happens is not a reason for a race war, and we need to stop acting like it is My friend Dr. Alveda King was on Fox News last week invoking the words of her uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King: “Either we live together as brothers or we die together as fools.” That seemed more important than ever as the riots in Charlotte entered a second night, and no one could say for sure how long it would last, or how many people would be hurt. It now appears that at least one life has been tragically lost....

“That ain’t no cop’s gun, Frank!” —DIRTY HARRY 2: MAGNUM FORCE, 1973. Does anybody really think the police are so stupid they would toss “a throw down, cold piece,” a planted gun, into a crime scene, knowing they are under video surveillance from multiple sources? And that the police never heard about pocket-lint being caught in a throw-down, “cold piece,” thereby ultimately incriminating the thrower?

It’s a “little girls’ game,” Mr. Trump and the little girl that wants to be president is one that loudly screams: “Misogynist!” Mainstream media headlines on the day after the first presidential debate at Hofstra University: ‘Donald Trump, World’s Biggest Misogynist!” That’s the plan, and that will be the mainstream media’s take no matter how Trump performs at the debate. On the day after the presidential debate, moderated by NBC’s Lester Holt and expected to attract upwards of 100 million viewers, Mark Cuban sitting in in the front row as Hillary Clinton’s guest, and Gennifer Flowers should she show up...

Irked by the decision of 20 million Americans who have declined to sign up for Obamacare, the IRS is crafting a letter to advise them of the "antisocial implications" of non-participation. Commissioner John Koskinen explained that "failure to enroll evinces a lack of cooperation with a policy that the government has determined is necessary. Non-compliers may feel that enrollment is optional. It is not. That's why there is a fine. Paying the fine doesn't get them off the hook." Koskinen pointed out that "not only does the amount of the fine ratchet up each year, our Agency has other tools...

New Quinnipiac polls offer encouraging data for Donald Trump and a sagging future for Hillary Clinton. The Q-poll shows Clinton leading in Colorado 44/42, and in Virginia 45/39. It shows Trump leading 47/40 in Georgia and 44/37 in Iowa. In Colorado, where Obama won by 5 points in 2012, Clinton’s 8 point lead on August 17 has dissipated to 2 points which is within the 3.9% MOE. Moreover, Colorado is 87% White which is just at the beginning of certain trouble for Clinton since she is polling so poorly with Whites that Reuters has ALREADY all but called Vermont for...

US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will win the race for the White House, says an American professor, who has correctly predicted all the last eight presidents of the United States. Allan Lichtman, a distinguished professor of history at American University, told The Washington Post that based on a system he calls "Keys to the White House", Trump will emerge victorious in the November election. “Based on the 13 keys, it would predict a Donald Trump victory,” he claimed. The professor said he derived the system of true/false statements, "by looking at every American presidential election from 1860 to 1980,...

I’m feeling a bit whimsical today so this flight of fancy is perfect. Photographer Dylan Winter captures the glorious “murmurations” of several hundred thousand starlings as they rise and fall, arc and plane in self-organizing choreography on their way home for the night. Can you hear the sound of a half million wings beating in unison? That’s known as a murmuration, my friend.I have found evidence of other equally impressive self-organizing “murmurations” where birds of a feather  flock together.  I know these have been posted before butt watch the whole thing anyway; it’s almost like going to church. Can you hear...

In May of 2012,  Clifford Charles Tyler filed a suit to regain his Second Amendment rights, which had been improperly withheld from him when he attempted to buy a firearm. When he attempted to purchase a firearm, he had been denied because he had been involuntarily committed 28 years before. The District Court dismissed the lawsuit on January 29, 2013. Tyler appealed to the Sixth Circuit.  A three judge panel of the Sixth Circuit ruled the provision unconstitutional in December of 2014. The Obama administration found the case important enough that they asked for, and got, an en banc review....
  • [Vanity] What drugs will Hillary be on for the debate?

Thinking about the debates and Hillary's poor health, I was thinking what drugs are they likely to pump her up on for the debates and what are the potential pitfalls for them. Probably a prednisone regimen 4 days leading up to the debate, a prescription strength throat analgesic. I think she'll be very aggressive while straining to keep her voice soft and steady. I wouldn't be surprised if she's sandbagging a bit on the health. Cancelling events to keep her from the more communistic gaffs she's prone too. Hopefully Trump sees through this and they figure out a way to...

I was a police officer for 36 years. Prior to being a police officer I served six years in the U.S. Air Force, four on active duty and two in the reserves. Before that, my fondest memories, while growing up, are of going to the VFW with my dad on Friday night for their fish fry or clam bake. When I was in high school I played on that VFW Post’s Drum & Bugle Corps. My Dad served in the Merchant Marine during WW II, and recounted having been torpedoed once while on a North Atlantic convoy. All of my...

The 2016 presidential race where everyone wins with great cookie recipes. When you think of Family Circle magazine’s quadrennial presidential cookie competition, you might think it started way back in the 1950’s with Mamie Eisenhower, but this cookie contest actually began with Hillary Clinton. For every presidential election since 1992, Family Circle has published a single cookie recipe from the wives of the presidential candidates. This year’s recipes were published on Thursday morning, though with an obvious twist in events this time around. As Hillary Clinton is now a presidential candidate as the first female candidate of a large party,...

“How do I think she should prepare? I think she should say I’m going to hold three press conferences, I’m not doing the debates. Because it’s like the third rail,” Ablow said. “I don’t know that debating Donald Trump is something you can plan for great success with. It’s like getting in the ring with Muhammad Ali. Because you got the rodeo clown and the skilled boxer in one person. In a way if I would have been advising Hillary Clinton I would say listen, say that he’s a reality TV host that’s been beyond the pale and simply don’t...

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew told the House Financial Services Committee that "we have no evidence that the billions of dollars we have released to Iran in the past year have been used to fund terrorism. In fact, the government of Iran has assured us, in no uncertain terms, that not one dollar has been used to directly finance any terrorist group." Lew admitted that "we have no real way of knowing. We didn't record the serial numbers of any of the bills we handed over" as "this would not have shown good faith. Friendship is built upon a certain measure...

For the last few days, the news has spread about history professor Allan Lichtman's prediction that Trump would win the election.  Trump retweeted it today and many FReepers have commented on the the original WaPo story.  Lichtman claims his model has accurately predicted the POTUS winner for 30 years.  Being curious how the professor came up with his conclusion, I searched and I found his methodology in a Wikipedia entry entitled, The Keys to The White House. Now when I listened to Professor Lichtman's analysis in a Washington Post video, it immediately raised some red flags about the guy's legitimacy...

If Trump wins what do they have left? Fight fire with fire. Cuban seems to need the attention-same as what Trump critics charge. If a political rookie opens the door to the WH and there's nothing but a bunch of gummer has-bens available 2020 will be ripe for a rich sacrificial lamb candidate who could get lucky like 1992. 4 years to decide especially if the big correction happens. Make no mistake. One does not get wealthy without following conservative principals on the way up. Once there there's always other peoples money. Cuban fits the bill. Didn't he offer to...

Donald Trump Jr.'s analogy employing a bowl of Skittles sparked outrage among defenders of increased Muslim immigration to the United States. In the analogy, the son of the presidential candidate took on the argument that only a few terrorists would be able to sneak into the country by hiding among the throng of refugees from Syria. Trump asked "suppose I offered you the opportunity to grab a handful of Skittles from a bowl in which just a few were poisoned, would you take them?" The astoundingly dense Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) called Trump Jr. "a rotten apple that hasn't fallen...

It's time to recognize what freedom really entails. It's not the freedom to destroy by invoking "free speech," but the freedom to work, produce and build a strong family, community and nation The war of semantics has overshadowed the rising tempers among special interest minority groups. In an effort to diffuse or whitewash (look it up if you’re inclined to infer racist overtones) the growing divide between communities in the United States, talking heads have come up with another ‘softening’ term for plain old racism. By employing this newspeak term, “racialism,” pundits seek to deflect from identifying their remarks as...
