Here's a bit of help for Linda Douglass getting the word out. Poster to replace the Obama as Joker when they tear them down.

And a Mike's America original rounds out the show! With Obama setting up a White House unit to promote domestic spying on political opponents and telling those who oppose his plans for a radical takeover of America's health care to shut up while sending his union goon squads out to enforce the order I knew it was just a matter of time before our comrades in the red brigades at the People's Cube would get into the act: (Excerpt) Read more at floppingaces.net ...

First there was the original, Heath Ledger. His performance was praised by one and all. Then came the George W. Bush cover on Vanity Fair and the Right shrugged and said that was rude -- but inaccurate. We all knew that W. was actually Batman. So now there's the ubiquitous Obama as Joker poster and the Left is up in arms. Immediately they started sputtering -- how terrible! Why.. why... it's RACIST! Well, despite eloquent and empassioned arguments by legitimate commentators, like the article by Philip Kennicott in the Washington Post yesterday -- I'm sorry but it's a stretch. A huge...

On FR there was a magnificent graphic of freshly-dug open graves..."ObamaCare....a shovel-ready project"--I've looked for it and can't find it. I invite the creator to provide us with a poster-ready project to download and print for our March on Washington. Maybe access to a jpg that is high-res?

The left is howling with indignation over a poster depicting Barack Obama as the villainous Joker character from The Dark Knight Batman movie. The poster, by an anonymous artist, has popped up in Los Angeles and Atlanta. The word "socialism" appears under the president's PhotoShopped face."Don't they know rule number five from Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals: ‘ridicule is man's most potent weapon'? Interesting how mad they get when you use their rules against them, isn't it?" Glenn Beck said on his TV show yesterday. (segment begins at 5:20 on linked video)The posters have some liberals furious. For example, Steven Mikulan...

Not surprisingly, the Obama Joker Poster reported by NewsBusters Saturday is already drawing some outrage. According to a television station where the posters have been spotted, "Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson is calling the depiction, politically mean spirited and dangerous." Yet, when Vanity Fair's Politics & Power blog published a somewhat similar visual representation of George W. Bush last July, nobody seemed to complain. In fact, throughout the Bush years, demeaning drawings of the President and Vice President Dick Cheney were quite commonplace. But, according to KTLA.com, depicting Barack Obama in unflattering terms is a no...

By now most Freepers have become acquainted with the poster under discussion. The purpose of this thread is to facilitate widespread publication and posting of the same in an effort to reverse the past few decades of socialist encroachments on freedom-loving Americans who are too busy working to attend all the politically motivated meetings and legislation so blindly accepted and passed as "normal." Here are a few tips and suggestions to get the thread rolling. 1.) Get hold of a hi-res version and find a printer who will multiply this image on an adhesive paper so it sticks wherever you...

Apparently, it's beginning to appear in odd places in Los Angeles, but nobody seems to know who's responsible for it. Radio host Tammy Bruce posted some pictures of this odd creation at her blog Saturday morning (h/t Pamela Geller) leading me to investigate further.

This is quite a nice travel poster, it's a shame that the dhimmi Brits in the ASA caved in to some Israel hating moonbats in the UK who wanted it's use discontinued. Why? Because just glancing at the poster, or looking at it from a distance, it appears to feature a map that "correctly" shows Gaza, Judea, and Samaria as part of Israel. It doesn't. Nevertheless, the moonbats didn't like it so they complained to the ASA which decided the travel poster's use would be discontinued. For those who would like to make their own complaint concerning the actions of...

Going all the way back to the days when Fritz Lang had to flee Germany after Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels figured out that Lang's "Dr. Mabuse" thrillers were crammed with all sorts of not-entirely-hidden cautionary warnings about the evil, malevolent tyrant who was about to transform Germany into a truly evil empire, horror films have had a justified reputation for ruffling our feathers, for stoking our most unruly, subconscious urges and fears. In horror films, there is always more to the images than meets the eye. That goes double for the slyly evocative one-sheet for "Drag Me to Hell," the...

BOSTON (Reuters) - An artist who created an iconic red, white and blue portrait of President Barack Obama that appeared on thousands of posters and T-shirts was arrested in Boston on graffiti charges, police said on Saturday. Shepard Fairey, a Los Angeles artist whose "Hope" image of Obama hangs in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, was arrested on Friday night while traveling to the Institute of Contemporary Art to kickoff his first solo exhibition. Police accuse Fairey of damaging property with graffiti in several locations and issued warrants for his arrest on January 24, Boston police spokesman James Kenneally...

NEW YORK – On buttons, posters and Web sites, the image was everywhere during last year's presidential campaign: A pensive Barack Obama looking upward, as if to the future, splashed in a Warholesque red, white and blue and underlined with the caption HOPE.
