The revamped description will be broader, pleasing activists who say the current definition leads to the low-balling of sexual assault cases, and also discourages victims to come forward. An agency panel voted on Tuesday to change the narrow definition that’s currently in use: “Carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will.” The new definition, which will more closely match...

It reminds me of when Jesus was being betrayed by his own people instead they wanted the guy that use to rape their women an steal from them to go free.. America, you deserve what you get in 2012. You are constantly being played like sheep to a slaughter. We can now proceed with the plans for the New World Order for the next century...

The four pieces of human filth who brutally raped and murdered a young Knoxville couple are all getting new trials, thanks to the drug-addicted judge who presided over the cases. Former judge Richard Baumgartner bought extensively from the convicts in his own drug court. He considered himself above the law but finally got caught. Because he was high much of the time he was presiding over the trials, the families of the victims get to hear yet again how their children were savagely beaten, raped and mutilated before finally being killed.

Child rape is an unforgivable offense and should be severely punished. It should be a capital crime. Unfortunately and unwisely, the U.S. Supreme Court in 2008 struck down a Louisiana law that provided for the death penalty in cases of child rape. Part of the court's rationale was that only a few states had such laws at the time, and they saw no national consensus even though there were several proposed laws in additional states and the movement was growing. I am calling on Congress to pass bipartisan legislation against this horrific crime without delay. The Federal Death Penalty Act...

RICHMOND, Va. — Having already served their sentences, hundreds of Virginia sex offenders are held behind bars for months — some for years — while waiting to see whether they'll be sent to a psychiatric center indefinitely, an Associated Press review has found. Judges acting on the requests of both prosecutors and defense attorneys routinely shrug off the legal deadline for making that decision, leaving the inmates in limbo well beyond their designated punishment and without access to the very kind of treatment the state says they may need. Attorneys and authorities blame the delays on court backlogs and note...
