Republican Senate candidate Tommy Thompson is now calling on Republican Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin to drop out of the race. Thompson on Monday initially condemned comments Akin made in an interview over the weekend that women's bodies are able to prevent pregnancies in cases of what he called "a legitimate rape." But Thompson said whether Akin gets out of the race should be left to him and voters in Missouri.
