With an appearance on Bloomberg TV Tuesday, Former CNN president Jon Klein and former NBC entertainment chairman Jeff Gaspin announced their new online streaming video venture called TAPP, short for “TV App.” As for the types of personalities the pair hopes to feature on the service? According to Klein, Sarah Palin is exactly the type of person they are looking for. “We are not talking about specific talent,” Klein said in response to rumors that they have been in talks with Palin about the venture. “I will tell you that Sarah Palin is the kind of personality who has a...

A friend is challenging me on Sarah Palin's resignation from the Governorship of Alaska. I remember it very clearly that she was being hounded by frivolous ethics complaints but I can't find a list of the complaints nor the results of those complaints. I remember reading at some point that she was cleared of any wrongdoing at some point but when I do a Google search for "Sarah Palin Ethics Violations" I get a bunch of snarky Huffington Post and other MSM articles from 2010 and before breathlessly celebrating "ethics convictions." I can't see to locate an article that speaks...

On Saturday, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul won the presidential straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference by a landslide for the second consecutive year. Conservative firebrand Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in second, but he actually gained the most ground of any candidate year-over-year. On Sunday, Cruz began making a play to draw foreign policy distinctions between himself and Paul, both of whom are considered two of the GOP's top presidential prospects. "I'm a big fan of Rand Paul. He and I are good friends," Cruz said on ABC's "This Week" Sunday. "I don't agree with him on foreign...

Agitated by the “rousing reception” Sarah Palin received at CPAC 2014 over the weekend, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski called the former governor of Alaska a “multi-million dollar moron.” As keynote speaker, Palin brought down the house Saturday with a speech that featured her very own rendition of Dr. Suess’ “Green Eggs and Ham,” proving that when it comes to firing up the conservative base, she stands alone. Brzezinski’s slur was in response to MSNBC contributor Mike Barnicle, who asked: “What does it say about CPAC, where the most popular speaker they had, the one who received the most rousing reception is...

    > Sarah may not be running in 2016 - but she's still a potent force in the Liberty movement, likely to pull some good Congressional candidates across the finish line this year. We are now in the process of evaluating this year's CPAC, and that's something I intend to properly address in a day or two, but meanwhile, I was doing a little housekeeping, cleaning out old emails and email drafts and found one about a person that has been enormously influential, but of whom, very little discussion has been made lately. The main reason perhaps, is that it seems...

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, have decided to ditch their current tour bus and are looking to downsize to something “Grandma Sarah” feels “more comfortable driving.” The vehicle they’re selling, a 2004 Country Coach Lexa, was used extensively during Palin’s travels on her “One Nation” bus tour and her “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” television show. The asking price was listed at $279,000.

Here was the Morning Joe panel bemoaning Ted Cruz's supposed incivility at CPAC in allegedly insulting war hero Bob Dole, when up pops Mike Barnicle to ask "what does it say about CPAC, where the most popular speaker they had and received the most rousing reception is a moron, Sarah Palin?" A bit later, Mika Brzezinski piled on, calling Palin a "multi-million dollar moron." When Joe Scarborough challenged her, saying "you don't think that, right?", Mika didn't retract her slur, saying only that Palin is "savvy in selling a message that makes a lot of money." Carly Fiorina, former California GOP senate challenger to Barbara Boxer, emerged at the Conservative Political Action Conference here as the speaker most willing to engage the Republicans' persistent problems with appealing to women. Well, after she spent the first half of her speech denying climate change. Priorities! Fiorina didn't offer a solution, but she did offer some great slogans: "I am a proud pro-life woman. ... I believe science is proving us right everyday!" (Hey, don't knock junk science until you've tried it, right?) She also echoed a feminist line when she said, "All issues are women's issues." Sen. Rand Paul demolished his competition in the 2014 Washington Times/CPAC presidential preference straw poll on Saturday, winning 31 percent of the vote -- nearly three times the total of second-place Sen. Ted Cruz. Mr. Cruz's 11 percent was still a big improvement for the freshman senator, who won just 4 percent in last year's straw poll. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson was third with 9 percent and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was fourth with 8 percent in results that signal growing discontent with the GOP establishment in Washington. Indeed, CPAC voters now have an unfavorable view of Republicans in Congress,...

The New York Times covered the latest annual gathering of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) with its usual mix of suspicion, overloaded labeling bias, and anti-GOP doomsaying. The paper's skeptical coverage of the three-day conservative confab, held this year at National Harbor on the Potomac, opened with two stories in Friday's edition, one on the organizers's attempts to put "a less strident face on the convention and the party."

The crowd here at the Conservative Political Action Conference gleefully embraces the political figures Democrats and the media love to hate, and it is full of adoration for Sarah Palin. “You love her because she drives liberals crazy,” the National Rifle Association’s Chris Cox said as he introduced the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential nominee. Palin delivered the closing remarks at this year’s conference and, in a speech that touched on topics ranging from Obamacare to the Republican establishment to Ted Cruz to the war on women, she brought the audience of approximately 11,000 to its feet repeatedly...

In October of 2008, Sarah Palin was mocked as being too far-fetched by foreign policy media elites for predicting that if Obama won the presidency, Putin’s Russia’s might indeed invade Ukraine. "Saturday Night Live" had fun with Palin by lampooning her statement when she said one could see Russia from Alaska. Yet late last week, Palin got the last laugh when Putin invaded the Ukrainian Crimea, “Yes, I could see this one from Alaska. I'm usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did, despite my accurate prediction being derided as ‘an extremely far-fetched scenario’ by the ‘high-brow’ Foreign Policy magazine....
