WASHINGTON - President Bush will visit Ground Zero to mark the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the White House announced yesterday. Though plans were still in the works, Bush will also make appearances at ceremonies at the 9/11 sites at the Pentagon and in western Pennsylvania, according to White House spokeswoman Dana Perino. Universal's new movie, "United 93," is about United Airlines Flight 93, hijacked on 9-11 by Islamic terrorists shortly after leaving Newark, N.J., for San Francisco. Mrs. Fierro stopped by the Shanksville (temporary) Flight 93 Memorial this past week while travelling from State College PA to the 'Burgh. The place was easy enough to find, and local folks were EXTREMELY polite and helpful in guiding us there. Such a nice difference from the "tolerant" 'Frisco Bay Area.
