WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Donald Trump is planning to sign an executive order that seeks to make changes to a visa program that brings in high-skilled workers. Trump is heading Tuesday to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he plans to sign an order dubbed "Buy American, Hire American," said administration officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity despite the president's frequent criticism of the use of anonymous sources. The officials said the order, which Trump will sign at the headquarters of tool manufacturer Snap-on Inc., would direct the departments of Homeland Security, Justice, Labor and State to propose new rules to...

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has finally responded to the request by five House Republicans for an investigation into the Islamist links to Clinton’s long-time aide Huma Abedin. Clinton tried to take the moral high ground, saying there is “no place in our politics” for such “assaults” and continuing: “Leaders have to be active in stepping in and sending messages about protecting the diversity within their countries. We did see some of that in our own country. We saw Republicans stepping up and standing up against the kind of assaults that really have no place in our politics.” State Department...

NEW YORK - A Transportation Security Administration employee responsible for a passenger’s ‘freak’ out earlier this week is no longer checking luggage, according to the agency. Jill Filipovic, of Brooklyn, who flew from Newark Liberty Airport to Dublin over the weekend opened her luggage Monday morning to discover a personalized note on an official TSA form, reading “GET YOUR FREAK ON GIRL.” Filipovic, a lawyer and blogger, believes the note stemmed from the small vibrator that was packed in her suitcase. On Wednesday, the TSA said that it had “quickly launched an investigation and identified the employee responsible.”

The province is defending its marketing of the town of Dildo after accusations it was being ignored because of the 'sensitive nature' of its name. On VOCM Open Line with Randy Simms, Tourism Minister Terry French refuted the remarks, saying Dildo is in travel guides for all to see. French says the town is prominently displayed in the provincial tourism guide. French says on page 260 of the guide, which is a map of the Avalon, Dildo and South Dildo are in the middle of the map. He says the town is mentioned multiple times in the travel guide, and is...
  • Clinton Finally Expresses ‘Support’ for Saudi Women Drivers

(CNSNews.com) – Although Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has championed women’s rights from Azerbaijan to Zambia, it took her weeks to respond to an appeal to publicly support a campaign by Saudi women to be permitted to drive. Even then, her comments on Tuesday came not of her own initiative, but in response to a question at a press availability – and after Saudi women activists and journalists had questioned her public silence on the subject. In her answer, Clinton signaled once again the Obama administration’s sensitivity about the U.S. being seen to be preaching change to a non-Western culture...

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Led by votes from pro-abortion Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, the Senate rejected a measure on Thursday night that would have promoted parental involvement when it comes to a minor teenager girl who is considering an abortion.
  • (Hillary) Clinton booed on Iraq

Angry boos greeted Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) at a liberal conference yesterday when she opposed fixing a date for withdrawing American forces from Iraq. The sour audience response, at the Campaign for America’s Future conference, hints at the 2008 presidential front-runner’s shaky standing with anti-war Democrats, who wield increasing power in the party. Clinton’s speech packed the room with a crowd billed as the nation’s largest gathering of progressives. But, although the left-leaning audience raucously cheered her domestic agenda, there was only a sprinkling of applause mixed with jeers when the senator refused to disavow her vote authorizing the...

June 13, 2006 -- THE ISSUE: Sen. Hillary Clinton's criticism of Ann Coulter for attacking the widows of 9/11 victims. Sen. Hillary Clinton recently blasted Ann Coulter by stating: "I felt it's unimaginable that anyone in the public eye could launch a vicious, mean-spirited attack on people who I've known in the last 4 1/2 years to be concerned deeply about the safety and security of our country" ("Give-'em-Hill Fury vs. Coulter," June 8). As a parade of Democrats have launched one vicious, heinous assault after another on President Bush, the troops and conservatives, Clinton has remained silent. From...

Stephen Crowley/The New York Times Hillary Rodham Clinton visited Capitol Hill in 1994 in an effort to lobby support for a universal health care plan for which she was sharply criticized. WASHINGTON, June 9 — No policy issue has bedeviled Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton more than health care. Ever since the collapse of her proposal for universal coverage in 1994, critics have used the issue as prime evidence in their case that she is, at heart, a big-government liberal with a zeal for social engineering. But now, as Mrs. Clinton heads into her re-election campaign and a possible bid...

Mudslinging by leading Democrats, usually taking form these days as trying to brand Republicans as racists, confirms what I have been writing about for a number of years: the Democratic Party is running on an empty tank. Bankrupt of ideas, the only thing they have to offer is slamming the opposition and playing the race card. The latest case in point is Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's Martin Luther King Day pandering to a black audience in Harlem, telling them that Republicans run the House of Representatives "like a plantation and you know what I am talking about." According to Mrs....

At Sundance Film Festival... Many celebrities keep their kids out of the public eye to avoid the paparazzi and kidnappers. Not Rosie O'Donnell. O'Donnell said it was Madonna — her co-star in "A League of Their Own" — who explained to her why she appeared with her daughter Lourdes in public. Rosie, wife Kelli Carpenter O'Donnell and their two sons and two daughters will be on hand Tuesday for the world premiere of the documentary "All Aboard! Rosie's Family Cruise" at the Sundance Film Festival. Kelli, whom Rosie married in San Francisco in 2004, and Parker, 10; Chelsea, 8; Blake,...
