What do you do if your neighbor has 15-20 people over and it’s in violation of stay-at-home orders? A JustTheNews.com survey found that 36% of voters would report their neighbors to the police. Forty-three percent (43%) would not. Suburban and Urban voters are evenly divided on the question. However, by a 53% to 28% margin, rural voters would not report their neighbors. There is a huge partisan difference. By a 44% to 31% margin, a plurality of Democrats would turn their neighbors in. By a 60% to 25% margin, Republicans would not. Independents are evenly divided.

Now, some of those who snitched may be worried these business owners may show up at their homes or businesses, and Totsch said he thinks that's just too bad. "If they are worried about retaliation, they should have read the fine print which stated their tips would be open public record subject to a Sunshine request, and should not have submitted tips in that manner, to begin with," Totsch said. He added that he released the information to discourage this kind of behavior in the future.(snip) In March and April, St. Louis County officials encouraged residents to report businesses online...

If you happen to spot someone not obeying social isolation orders, or if you spot someone without a mask, the mayor is now asking people to take a picture of the rebellious activity and text it to the New York Division of Compliance Monitoring. Comrades, please note: in the interests of the state any pictures showing non-compliant NYC activities can be sent by any concerned citizen with a phone from any location.

In a lengthy court filing Tuesday, attorneys for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn alleged that then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe pushed Flynn not to have an attorney present during the questioning that ultimately led to his guilty plea on a single charge of lying to federal authorities. The document outlines, with striking new details, the rapid sequence of events that led to Flynn's sudden fall from the Trump administration. The filing also seemingly demonstrates that the FBI took a significantly more aggressive tack in handling the Flynn interview than it did during other similar matters, including the agency's sit-downs...

FULL TITLE: HOW IS THIS LEGAL?… Flynn Gave FBI Agents Tour of White House – Was Joking With Them — HAD NO IDEA He Was Being Interrogated! General Mike Flynn’s sentencing memo was filed Tuesday evening and it further proved that the FBI agents ambushed him to get him in a perjury trap. General Flynn’s lawyers asked the judge for no jail time and instead “to sentence him to a term of probation not to exceed one year, with minimal conditions of supervision, along with 200 hours of community service.” They told Flynn not to have his lawyer present. He...

Tom Llamas is not the hero Houston needs right now, according to how some of his dispatches were received on Tuesday morning. The ABC News reporter, using the #BREAKING hashtag, told his followers that he saw “looting” taking place at a supermarket in the northeast part of the city, an area grappling with catastrophic floods and supply shortages. And that there was a dead body nearby. In that order. He was immediately met with a heavy dose of internet WTF:

<p>If the Rev. Al Sharpton, the bigoted, anti-Semitic, non-tax paying race-hustling poverty pimp, had any credibility left, it just vanished.</p> <p>The beneficiary of a lifetime of passes from our race-conscious mainscream media, Sharpton ran into an outlet not afraid of him -- The Smoking Gun. They obtained material that exposed Sharpton as an FBI "informant." Sharpton, of course, denies that this constitutes "snitching." No, he says he "volunteered" to "cooperate" with the FBI -- and for the most honorable of motives.</p>

The Rev. Al Sharpton may claim he wore a wire for the feds because he had been threatened by the mob — but a new report says he turned rat to save himself after a federal drug sting. The FBI “flipped” the bombastic reverend after agents confronted him with a surveillance video showing him discussing cocaine with an undercover agent, The Smoking Gun Web site said Wednesday. During that March 1983 conversation, Sharpton wore a cowboy-like hat that was garish by even the rabble-rousing preacher’s 1980s standards. He later showed up at a Manhattan apartment for another meeting that June...
  • Al Sharpton Gets Testy With Lesley Stahl When Asked About FBI Role In 2011

    — President Barack Obama is coming to New York City Friday to address the Rev. Al Sharpton‘s National Action Network. The visit comes days after revelations surfaced that Sharpton worked with the FBI. The topic also came up in a 2011 ’60 Minutes’ interview with Lesley Stahl weeks before the debut of “Politics Nation.” “I was never told I was an informant with a number,” Sharpton said Tuesday. “In my own mind, I was not an informant. I was cooperating with an investigation.

Ever wonder why a dirt-bag like The Reverend Al Sharpton has not yet felt the weight of the long arm of the law? On Monday it became less of a mystery. It isn’t much of a stretch to believe that Sharpton is a liar and race pimp of the worst kind. He does little that does not benefit him directly. Now the good “Reverend” has fresh bullet points to add to his CV; shakedown artist and rabble-rouser extraordinaire, it turns out that Sharpton was also tightly bound to the mob and subsequently agreed to be “flipped” by the FBI to...

....At the third meeting with Quintana, Sharpton made sure to go alone — wearing a cowboy hat and chomping on an unlit cigar, which was made famous in footage from the FBI surveillance leaked in 2002.... And once he was caught, he had no choice but to wear a wire to save his ample hide from prison. “Sharpton said they could do whatever they wanted with him after that,” Curington said. “Because they had him. Either he worked for them or they put that news out there that he was into coke.”.... Curington said the activist put on a good...

The National Action Network’s annual National Convention kicked off this morning at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel on the heels of a report by The Smoking Gun on Rev. Al Sharpton’s alleged role as an FBI informant. The New York Post and Daily News both responded with front page headlines yesterday that called Mr. Sharpton, the president and founder of the civil rights organization, a “snitch” and a “rat.” For some of the attending civil rights activists, many of whom had traveled from across the country for the week-long convention, the treatment was another reminder of the uphill...

'Flag@Whitehouse.Gov' A Snitch Line Is the White House Compiling an Enemies List? The Obama administration seems to have committed another political misstep when it set up an email address, 'flag@whitehouse.gov', in order to allow supporters to report on "misinformation" on health care reform. President Obama’s labor-secretary nominee Tom Perez has a long association with CASA of Maryland, a group that serves immigrants and runs day-laborer centers. Perez was on CASA’s board from 1995 to 2002, and while it doesn’t appear he’s had any official ties since then, as a Montgomery County Council member Perez promoted a day-laborer site that was ultimately run by CASA. An example of CASA’s attention to illegal immigrants can be found in a booklet that was updated in 2008. The booklet, which can be viewed on CASA’s website here,

Gun violence on Chicago streets has become such a concern that Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said today he's considering turning to celebrity mouthpieces like Bulls star Derrick Rose to try to convince residents to break the "no-snitch" code of silence that often impedes investigations into shootings in Chicago neighborhoods. McCarthy said he has "spoken to a number of (celebrities) and they're all very interested" in becoming spokespeople for a campaign to convince Chicagoans to cooperate with police. He would not give specific names, but did say Rose, who grew up in crime-plagued Englewood before achieving NBA fame, is the type...

Following a furor over how the data would be used, the White House has shut down an electronic tip box — flag@whitehouse.gov — that was set up to receive information on “fishy” claims about President Barack Obama’s health plan. E-mails to that address now bounce back with the message: “The e-mail address you just sent a message to is no longer in service. We are now accepting your feedback about health insurance reform via http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck.” The “flag” service was introduced Aug. 4, with a White House blog post saying: “There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out...
