NEWARK, N.J. - Authorities in Canada have accused a Justin Bieber impersonator of threatening and sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl in New Jersey on a video chat site. Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray says 34-year-old Lee Moir of Toronto, Ontario, posed as the pop star on Facebook. Authorities allege he threatened to harm the girl's family to force her to perform sex acts online. It's unclear if Moir used photos of Bieber on his Facebook page, but authorities say the girl realized it wasn't the singer during the video chat.

WILMINGTON (AP) — The cold weather gripping North Carolina means more stunned sea turtles off the state's coast. The cold-blooded sea turtles become paralyzed by abnormally low temperatures. The StarNews of Wilmington reports that 30 turtles were reported in trouble Tuesday afternoon near Cape Lookout. That's on top of the more than 20 turtles that Topsail Beach Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center director Karen Beasley says have already been discovered along the coast. What's with the recent trend of tagging articles with palin or sarahpalin that have nothing to do with Sarah Palin? If your article has nothing to do with Palin, please don't tag it as such. It's bad enough that journalists use her name to get hits to their articles or as a cheap source of writing material. We don't need that attitude here too. Just because people want to increase traffic to their posts, doesn't mean they should tag their posted articles with palin or sarahpalin. This just clutters the keyword/tagging system.
