Authorities on Friday nabbed a 15-year-old migrant suspected of shooting a tourist and firing at cops in Times Square, law enforcement sources said. The US Marshals Fugitive Recovery Task Force took the Venezuelan teen into custody in Yonkers at around 3:30 p.m., according to the sources. It came just moments after NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell identified Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa as the “armed and dangerous” person of interest in connection with the chaotic incident at the Crossroads of the World Thursday night.

Faisal Shahzad's Pakistani passport, tax documents, greeting cards, academic records and immigration documents were found abandoned outside a Shelton home once owned by the man charged in the attemped Times Square car bombing. The documents, mainly from 2000 and 2001, were found Tuesday by a Connecticut Post reporter outside the house at 119 Long Hill Ave. where the 30-year-old Shahzad lived until about a year ago. Federal authorities today for the first time asserted a direct link between one of the Pakistani men detained in Massachusetts last week and the alleged Times Square terror bomber. New details have emerged in a foiled plot to bomb New York City's subways, as authorities reportedly arrested another suspect in Pakistan. KARACHI, Pakistan, May 5 (UPI) -- Pakistani authorities arrested an acquaintance and relative of the suspect linked to a failed plot to blow up New York City's Times Square, officials said. U.S. authorities are interrogating Pakistani-born Faisal Shahzad for his alleged role in a plot to detonate a car bomb in Times Square during the weekend. The naturalized U.S. citizen was apprehended late Monday at New York's John F. Kennedy airport and is said to be cooperating with authorities. He is charged with acts of terrorism and an attempt to use a weapon of mass destruction.
