  • PLANNED PARENTHOOD OFF HOOK--VIDEO PRODUCERS INDICTED!! BABY PARTS STILL FOR SALE--WHY WE MUST WIN

Late today a Texas grand jury found no case against PP for selling baby parts; they did indite the producers of the video for unlawfully viewing a government form. Megyn Kelly of Fox news was the source for me. Background is that pro life Gov.of Texas appointed the prosecutor, in the case, to find if an indictment of PP could be found AGAINST them for selling baby parts. Instead the Producers were indicted! This cannot happen by accident. Even if a grand jury would not find an intictment against PP, a separate action would have to be prosecuted by the...

Gary Bauer, one of America's leading pro-life and pro-family activists, endorsed Ted Cruz on Friday. In doing so, Bauer became one of many evangelical Christian leaders who have thrown their support behind the senator from Texas. Bauer explained: "Ted Cruz is a courageous conservative who has built a consistent record on the issues that matter most. He has fought for religious liberty at home and abroad. He believes all of our children should be welcomed into the world and protected by the law. Ted knows that government is too big and that taxes and regulations are too high. He will...
  • Why supporting Donald Trump is not a betrayal of "conservatism."

Today we learn from Jim Robinson of a movement afoot to proselytize among the so-called conservatives here to abandon Free Republic. This is but another effort by the supporters of Ted Cruz to squirm out of the Trump's closing in on the Republican nomination, and, perhaps the presidency. If the close is forestalled, and they SCREAM loudly enough in block capital letter that TRUMPIZOIDS ARE INSANE they will see Trump for what he is and the nomination will go to Cruz. They even project idiocies such as Trump's supporters would overlook it if he killed 500 puppies on TV with...

Many pro-lifers find themselves in a dilemma this election season. Whom to trust on the all important issue of the sanctity of human life? It is by now well known that Donald Trump--as a private citizen in 1999--identified himself as pro-choice. As a businessman, he obviously had given the issue little thought, and he evidently defaulted to the prevailing views held by other native New Yorkers on the subject. Ted Cruz, on the other hand, has given many speeches on the subject, maintaining that he is, and always has been, pro-life. But let's go a little deeper. Has Trump done...

See the video at the link for the thousands of supporters waiting in line today in Sioux Center Iowa in the cold and snow. Trump filled the facility with 1500 and had to use an overflow room with hundreds who couldn't get in to watch on Television. But they won't caucus! They'll stand in line for hours in the cold to see Trump but they won't caucus! For what it is worth, Cruz had 700 supporters at the same facility two weeks ago. This is Sioux Center northwest Iowa - evangelical religious country. Santourm cleaned up here in 2012 with...

What's the purpose of being pro baby/pro life of an innocent, unborn, precious life, if you have a list of loopholes that just perpetuate the culture of death. And, might I not add, having all the loopholes of rape, mother's health, incest, are simply proof that you're not pro life at all. This is directed squarely at Donald Trump who is a liar and deceiver. The people on Free Republic are either falling for or looking the other way when it comes to Donald lying about his position on abortion. Isn't life life? Why should you advocate killing a baby...
  • Which Presidential Candidate Do You Think Might Be An Answer to Prayers?

    01/22/2016 9:12:06 PM PST · by dangus · 48 replies
King John of Austria was no saint. Many historians believe he had an illegitimate son. But when the Ottoman empire threatened to destroy Western Civilization, John provided the answer to the fervent prayers of millions of Christians. Muslims had conquered most of Christendom: all of the Middle East, the Near East, North Africa, and much of Eastern and Mediterranean Europe. They amassed a giant navy, seeking to finally attack Rome. But they utterly failed. Before the battle, King John of Austria led his outmanned troops in prayer, entrusting their fates to the mercy of Christ. The result was one of...

Hillary says: "...nothing that this says changes the fact that I never sent or received material marked classified." So I looked it up. There is no Classified level in the US government system! The levels are Unclassified, Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret. So she never did send or receive material marked classified, because there is no such thing. And that makes her statement literally true, but misleading in the vilest possible manner.
  • How exactly will Cruz get anything done when everyone in Congress hates him? [vanity]

    01/21/2016 10:03:02 PM PST · by springwater13 · 136 replies
It's a serious question. What's he going to do when Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell tell him to go to hell? Is he going to tell them they are liars on television and then call into Mark Levin's show and whine? Being President doesn't work like that. Is he going to be like President Obama and try to use executive orders to ram his legislation through? Compare that to Trump's approach from Art of the Deal where he asks for 3x more than what he wants, completely disorients his competitors and shakes the ground beneath everyone, and then gets what...

Republican candidates have accused Donald Trump of being a closet liberal,  a Hillary plant,  someone with New York values,  donating to left-wing causes and left-wing politicians.  They say he isn't conservative enough to be President, and many have accused him of being a Democrat.  His political past makes him damaged goods and unacceptable to "Principled Conservatives" like Ted Cruz and his supporters.  Seventeen years before becoming a Republican presidential candidate, Ronald Reagan began his political career as a Democrat. He joined numerous left-wing political committees and fought against Republican-sponsored right-to-work legislation. He was elected president of a large, famous union...

So! YOU. STILL. DON'T. GET. IT! It is an irony of politics that we often get that which we most despise yet doggedly work to bring into fruition - mediocrity ... Purists want nothing less than complete lock step with whatever definition each one of them individually defines to be their ideology. But life, in a land that upholds as sacrosanct the historically novel idea of individual freedom, must by its very nature admit as many diverse opinions as their exists individuals. The nexus of the problem is that the purist can never bend in the wind - and so...

What's the hurry to nominate Trump like it's do or die in Iowa. We should take our time and see what Cruz has to say. Give Trump time to grow as a candidate, get exposed to what we Americans want from him. I want to flesh out these two candidates. I think Americans deserve it.
  • Levin's complaints that Trump is attacking from the left using "Alinsky" tactics are silly [vanity]

    01/20/2016 12:13:55 PM PST · by springwater13 · 50 replies
Levin might cry and whine about Trump's tactics but here's the thing, there are no rules in politics. The only rule is winning. Trump is making that clear this cycle by breaking all the rules and winning so far. If Cruz can't beat Trump, he doesn't deserve to be the nominee. Hillary and the democrats would use the same "tactics" and more to pulverize him. This is what primaries are about. They are tests for the strongest nominee. They make the eventual nominee stronger. Cry baby whining about Trump does not make Cruz stronger. It's what losers do when they...

(LINK IS TO THE TRAILER) I was able to attend the sequel to GOD'S NOT DEAD last night. Packed house of pastors and activists. Great movie! Like the first film, the multi-plot story follows several characters as they faces challenges due to their faith. Many of the characters (and the Newsboys) from the first film are back. The primary story is about a teacher who answers a student's question in class and references the teachings of Jesus. Enjoyable film and relevant as today's headlines. A worthy sequel covering new territory. Big cheer from the crowd at the end.... and a...
  • Trump-Palin 2016?--Selections Have Consequences

Sarah Palin's surprise endorsement of Donald J. Trump in Iowa yesterday has led to inevitable questions about whether Trump had offered, or would offer, her the Vice-Presidential slot on his ticket. Hearing that question put to Trump on TODAY caused me to reflect on perhaps the most consequential, and in my view regrettable, Vice Presidential selection in American political history. In 1980, at the GOP convention in Detroit, Ronald Reagan had secured the votes for a first ballot nomination. His difficulty in settling on a Vice-Presidential choice had led to abortive effort to place Gerald Ford on the ticket and...
