One of the great tragedies in the history of science fiction was the premature death of the writer Stanley Weinbaum. His death in 1935 at the age of just thirty-three cut short his writing career which had barely lasted for a year and a half. Even sadder still is that he is nearly forgotten today when in a just world he would continue to be remembered as one of its great authors. Although his first story, “A Martian Odyssey”, remains an oft-anthologized classic, the rest of his oeuvre remains largely inaccessible to contemporary readers. This is almost criminal, for while...

Politics is a funny business. Much emphasis is placed on symbolism. We forget to check the candidates’ experience, associations and record, both spoken and written. In the case of Barack Obama, despite the effort of his cohorts and the MSM, we had enough information as to his leanings via some in the media, especially Sean Hannity. Had we focused on his experience and political back ground, many of our votes would have changed to McCain. I say this about McCain as one who believes he’s a decent enough fellow, who would do a worthy job—nothing horrible. Plus, think of the...

At the far end of the tunnel of kvetching at the incompetent lunacy of the Obama Administration and his Congressional Dem flunkies, there are a few rays of bright light barely glistening at our pupils. Obama’s promised hope and change have been totaled by ugly reality, revealing the full vacuity of his liberal hollowness. The above accounts for head-nodding agreement amongst an ever growing opposition. But, much more is going on in the minds of average Americans. A mood has taken over the country unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my half century of cognizance. With heads fully up Saul...

The Missouri Capitol Rotunda played host to the state’s first State Sovereignty Rally, today (Wednesday, January 13, 2010), bringing together legislators who are working to protect Missourians from the Federal government with citizens from across the state. Nearly 400 participants overflowed the rotunda and cheered lawmakers and representatives of Missouri Sovereignty Project as they discussed pending federal legislation and Missouri’s House Joint Resolution 48 (HJR48), which would prohibit any person, employer, or health care provider from being compelled to participate in any health care system.

Let’s cut to the quick, shall we? President Barack Hussein Obama is more concerned with his universal legacy as a Socialist icon than the well-being and safety of the USA . The only thing he’s shown competency at is the corruption of our institutions with the sole purpose of promoting himself in the eyes of America haters.

In five days the United States will enter the New Year with the mother of all loopholes. The estate death tax is abated for one year: 2010. That’s the good news. The bad news is that in order to take advantage of this chasm, one has to pay the ultimate price. He or she must die before next year is over. In order to prevent the government from reigniting the theft of already taxed booty from those six feet under, retroactive to the beginning of the New Year, the wealthy need expire at the last possible moment to take advantage....

Our President has once again jetted off on AF1. Yep, he’s back in Copenhagen to save the world from those evil carbon footprints like the giant ones emitting from his 747. The health care debate is at an impasse, at least for a short time, and can wait until he saves the world—again (yaaaaaaaaaaawn!) Despite the efforts of Senators Joe Lieberman and Tom Coburn, a truncated bill of some kind will probably get passed against citizen wishes by about 60% against VS 35% for. All this will do is glorify the “One” currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, when he...

It should be pretty obvious that President Obama and his Dem-run congress want no part of what most of America is screaming for: A free republic with a smaller government footprint not the enormous one currently stomping anyone in its path. According to Rasmussen Polls, 71% of voters say they are angry at the government and 46% describe themselves as very angry. Reversals from the Obama 2008 juggernaut were huge in Virginia and leftist New Jersey , yet the Dems in charge don’t care. The leaders will knowingly sacrifice their own Dem Reps and Senators in upcoming races as long...
