Today's breaking news, same as yesterday, same as tomorrow: Corruption and greed plague DC and Wall Street. Obama taxes, begs, borrows and spends as formerly free markets falter and fail. Unemployment, bankruptcy, despair soar. Swine flu hits Mexico. World Health Organization declares flu pandemic. Schools close in Mexico and Texas. Panic spreads. Earthquake hits Mexico. "Illegal" guns flow from U.S. to Mexico. Illegal drugs, illegal aliens, crime, disease and violence flow back. CO2 emmissions threaten to overheat the earth, raise sea levels, drown millions. War continues to spread in the Middle East. Corruption, crime, violence, greed, plagues, pestilence, drought, floods,...

The days of slavery are back. No not the archaic 17th and 18th century physical type, this is the new 21st Century high tech economic variety. And ironically it’ll be ushered in by a Black man.

UN chief Ban Ki-moon warned Thursday that failing to act to halt the global economic crisis could lead to widespread social unrest and failed states, ahead of the G20 crisis summit here. "What began as a financial crisis has become a global economic crisis," the UN secretary general wrote in an article in the Guardian newspaper. "I fear worse to come -- a full-blown political crisis defined by growing social unrest, weakened governments and angry publics who have lost all faith in their leaders and their own future."

If President-Elect Obama has his way there will be a new world order, where the UN and World Courts have have a big say in what happens in the US. Both Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton have a strong alliance with Brookings Institution president Strobe Talbott, a big believer in world government and a trusted contact of the Russian Intelligence service while he was in the Clinton Administration. As a Senator the President supported the pro-UN Global Poverty Act and co-sponsorship of the Jubilee Act a measure that would use $920 billion of tax payer dollars. Think of it as another...

Ironies and double standards can be subtle. And, in giddy “historic” times, the ironies can be absolutely blistering. For example, consider the media’s different contortions when covering the positions of presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama on the matter of a “global warming” treaty. For example, last week the Obama administration proclaimed that expectations shall be lowered on that front and, for some reason, broadcast anchors eschewed rending of cloth and gnashing of teeth, and the print media couldn’t be bothered with the usual editorials and hit pieces masquerading as news items to condemn the seemingly rational assessment. The...

Star Children for DarwinFeb 28, 2009 — Why should we be looking for alien intelligence around other stars when it is right behind your eyeballs? You may not have known that you are a star child, but that’s what a leading astronomer called you. As a good star child, you need to pay tribute to Charles Darwin. In New Scientist, Lawrence Krauss called on children of spaceship Earth to “Celebrate evolution as only star children can.” In this, he tied together the International Year of Astronomy 2009, the 400th anniversary of Galileo’s first use of the telescope on...

When Barack Obama nominated John P. Holdren as his Science Adviser last December 20, the president-elect stated "promoting science isn’t just about providing resources" but "ensuring that facts and evidence are never twisted or obscured by politics or ideology." In nominating John Holdren, his words could scarcely have taken a more Orwellian ring. Some critics have noted Holdren's penchant for making apocalyptic predictions that never come to pass, and categorizing all criticism of his alarmist views as not only wrong but dangerous. What none has yet noted is that Holdren is a globalist who has endorsed "surrender of sovereignty" to...

Even before Israel launched attacks on Gaza last week, Barack Obama’s incoming national security team understood that the consuming demands of crises could all too easily eclipse the transformational agenda on foreign affairs that Mr. Obama advanced during the campaign. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, instability in Pakistan and the threat of nuclear proliferation in Iran would have been more than enough to crowd out any thought of long-range planning. Now the Middle East is in flames again. And yet a wide range of foreign policy experts are urging the new president to look beyond the smoke and the...

Here's your change! By Henry Lamb web posted December 15, 2008 For more than 20 years, the politically-correct liberal elitists have ridiculed the "black helicopter crowd" whenever the words "world government" were uttered. Global governance, however, is a perfectly acceptable term which the U.N. says is somehow different from world government. According to the U.N., "Governance is not government – it is the framework of rules, institutions, and practices that set limits on the behavior of individuals, organizations and companies." (UNDP Human Development Report, 1999, page 34). Any institution that has the power to issue rules and that limits the...

I have written many times regarding the fakery that is the United Nations. They are a front group for corruption, greed and power. Here is a great video illustrating the hypocrisy that goes on at the United Nation Interfaith Dialogues. The entire world should know about these criminals and those who would tell Americans that we should support the U.N. and its policies of world government and peace. Unfortunately, Obama is one of those people. Tell your friends, folks. They will have been warned.

There it was - not on a site dedicated to the apocalypse, not on a conspiracy or "rapture" blog, not on a late-night radio show - but in the Financial Times of London (one of the world's leading business news organizations).

The U.N.'s own observations show no warming trend, but things may still get hot and bothered in Poznan. Ten thousand people from 86 countries have descended upon Poznan, Poland, for yet another United Nations meeting on climate change. It’s the annual confab of the nations that signed the original United Nations climate treaty in Rio in 1992. That instrument gave rise to the infamous 1996 Kyoto Protocol on global warming, easily the greatest failure in the history of environmental diplomacy. Al Gore himself descends on Wednesday to personally bless the conclave’s work product — which, based on past history, we...

The bill is the “Global Poverty Act” (S.2433) and is not just a compassionate bit of fluff that Obama dreamed up to help the poor of the world. This bill is directly tied to the United Nations and serves as little more than a shakedown of American taxpayers in a massive wealth redistribution scheme. In fact, if passed, The Global Poverty Act will provide the United Nations with 0.7% of the United States gross national product. Estimates are that it will add up to at least $845 billion of taxpayer money for welfare to third world countries, in addition to...

Excerpt - UNITED NATIONS (AFP)--The U.N. General Assembly on Monday agreed to begin negotiations on expanding the membership of the powerful Security Council no later than next Feb. 28. After hours-long bargaining, the assembly adopted by consensus a resolution on Security Council enlargement on the last day of its 62nd session. ~ snip ~ It said the aim was to "garner the widest possible political acceptance by member states." ~ snip ~ During the transitional period, a number of configurations including a repartitioning of seats on a regional basis and the most delicate, the veto- wielding power of the five...

There is a point at which one’s contempt for the environmentalists and their allies is irredeemable. There is no longer the usual excuse that’s there’s room for argument or discussion regarding global warming. Having been labeled “deniers” for years, the sense that the end of this hoax is in sight brings no desire to forgive and forget. Recently, Dr. Roy Spencer, an atmospheric scientist who formerly worked for NASA, testified before a Senate committee. Free now to speak without the impediments of bureaucratic oversight, Dr. Spencer told the committee, “I am pleased to deliver good news from the front lines...

Countries that act unilaterally on the world stage undermine the authority of the United Nations and weaken the broad consensus needed to confront global problems, Pope Benedict said on Friday. In a major speech to the U.N. General Assembly, the pope also said that the international community sometimes had to intervene when a country could not protect its own people from "grave and sustained violations of human rights." The pope, who arrived from Washington on the second leg of a U.S. trip, became only the third pontiff in history to address the General Assembly. Speaking in French and English from...

The NAFTA Controversy by: Cliff Kincaid, March 14, 2008 On another critical issue, McCain has emerged as a vocal proponent of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), despite the fact that one of its major supporters, Robert A. Pastor, admits that, in one key respect, it has been a colossal failure. Pastor, a Democrat who runs the Center for North American Studies at American University, says that NAFTA has resulted in economic integration and increased trade but has “fueled immigration by encouraging foreign investment near the U.S.-Mexican border, which in turn serves as a magnet for workers in central...

SURRENDER IS NOT AN OPTION, Defending America at the United Nations And Abroad, By John Bolton; THE GREAT EXPERIMENT, The Story of Ancient Empires, Modern States, And the Quest for a Global Nation, By Strobe Talbott ...John Bolton, most recently President Bush's ambassador to the United Nations, and Strobe Talbott, President Clinton's deputy secretary of state and now president of the Brookings Institution, have some things in common...Their differences, however, far outweigh their similarities...Talbott believes that global governance is coming -- that "individual states will increasingly see it in their interest to form an international system that is far more...

I am a heretic in the new religion. I reject the Church of Global Warming and it’s High Priest Al Gore. This has results in more than one disciple telling me that I should, well, die. I can accept that. Here are the first five of just ten reasons why I can’t accept anthropogenic global warming (AGW).
