Anyone need a good chuckle? A guy made a bot watch 1000 hours of Hallmark Christmas movies, and then had it write a script. All he shared was page One, and it's pretty funny.
If Hallmark doesn't option the script, this would make an awesome lego movie. A few more lines at the site.
This is actually a pretty accurate description of a Hallmark movie. Not just a Christmas movie but any Hallmark movie.
The town Christmas celebration or dance is always on Christmas Eve. Because who doesn't like to leave their families at home while they square dance with neighbors at the local school gym just before midnight.
I wonder what would happen if the bot watched porn, or Chinese Kung Fu movies with the bad translation. I´m sure it would be funny.

I literally just checked the Hallmark schedule and “Christmas in Evergreen” starts in 5 mins (10pm EST, 7pm EST). Literally. I kid you not
Yes, it’s all very formulaic, but I defy anyone to find a channel on tv that actually goes to the extent Hallmark does to acknowledge God and Christ in Christmas, including church scenes and hymns being sung.
No sex, no violence to speak of, no foul language.
Just heartwarming entertainment.
My favorite Hallmark movie was where the nice-looking guy met the really hot woman by some accidental encounter in a public place.
They really didn’t like each other at first but some unusual situation forced them together. There was family involved, including a relative or two that seemed disruptive, cantankerous or generally a misfit. It looked like things might not work out, but then.....a Christmas miracle.
After a whole lot of witty banter, they found out they were attracted to each other and it being the holidays, decided to get married and they lived happily ever after in a really nice, big house, decorated with lots of expensive things.
They were poor, but they were happy in their big house with expensive things.
There was a dog, some kids running around and some fresh-baked desserts along with a traditional dinner.

Yes, it’s true that it’s good to see something basically clean on TV.
Based on that junk, I’d say Hollywood script writers are safe for the next 50 years.

Sorry, not picking on you, just an observation. My wife just finished watching one of their shows as they were singing O Holy Night as part of the finale.

Bored at college, I let one roll on day. I must have been REALLY bored.
It was some poor, hardworking, good-hearted woman, whose husband just couldn’t stop picking up prostitutes.
She was a good-hearted woman in love with a two-timin’ man.
My wife loves them too. She even watches the “Christmas in July!” ones. And you are right there are very few channels that offer entertainment that doesn’t border on porn.
