The LGBT agenda is like a hydra; a multi-headed monster that attacks society on several different fronts.
At first, the movement gained acceptance through positive portrayals in the entertainment arts. Later on, the LGBT mafia began infiltrating the education system, imposing its rather totalitarian brand of “inclusion” on children and families. Lastly, they are ratcheting up their efforts to reshape society through state and federal legislation.
Saints, we can turn off the TV or boycott certain shows, we can pull our children from schools that shove sexual perversion down their throats, but what recourse will we have if these people are still able to change laws according to the agenda to an Orwellian degree?
This is the startling reality we may face if the U.S. Supreme Court upholds a lower court decision that redefines the word “sex” in federal law to mean “gender identity.”
If the law protects an individual’s right to determine their own reality and decide their own gender, even the gentlest opponents of such anti-science and anti-faith practices will instantly become criminals.
Attorneys for Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) are fighting this terrifying prospect at every front.
On behalf of a Michigan funeral home forced by the 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to allow a male employee to break their sex-specific dress code and wear women’s clothing at work, ADF filed a petition asking the Supreme Court to take the case.
Back in 2016, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan ruled in favor of the funeral home. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), however, appealed to the 6th Circuit court who then ruled in favor of the employee.

Sex is a given biological fact.
Gender is a wishful mental construct.
No doubt it will be a 5-4 ruling with Roberts voting to include gender identity.

The slip of this slope we’re on is getting steeper by the day. As others have opined, we are very probably going to soon see a “relaxation” of laws regarding pedophilia, polyamory, bestiality, and the performance of sexual acts in public. I think there was a book that talked about where this all leads....

Of course, if the court rules for the plaintiffs, it will take this Congress five minutes to pass a law ADDING “gender identity” to existing law.

In grade school I was taught that the word SEX applies to people, who are either male or female but there are some hermaphrodites who are born with features of both sexes as a birth DEFECT. The word GENDER was to be applied only to PRONOUNS and there were THREE genders, not one, not two and certainly not more than three, the three genders of pronouns were masculine (not male), feminine (not female) and neuter.
Unfortunately the English language has been butchered since to the extent that much and I am tempted to say most of what I see in writing now is so vague as to be indecipherable. In all too many cases I wonder if the writer even had an actual thought in mind to begin with because no thought is recognizable.

First, only elected lawmakers, not judges, can define the sexes in the constitutional republic imo. Correction, insights welcome. (Career lawmakers let activist justices get away with stealing legislative powers so that judges can legislate from the bench the unconstitutional laws that corrupt lawmakers want to make but not take responsibility for.)
And speaking of lawmakers, patriots are reminded that the states have never amended the Constitution to give Congress the specific power to define sex.

Consider that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices acknowledged state power recognition of male and female biological sexes when they decided against women suffrage leader Virginia Minor in Minor v. Happersett.
In fact, the 19th Amendment is based on biological sex since it was drafted in response to the Court’s decision Minor v. Happersett.
19th Amendment:
"The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation [emphasis added]."
I wouldn’t be surprised if the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification, post-FDR era Supreme Court is looking for an opportunity to politically “amend” the Constitution with politically correct LGBT “rights,” just as it did when it wrongly decided against the sovereign states in Roe v. Wade imo.
In fact, using inappropriate words like "concept" and "implicit" here is what was left of 10th Amendment-protected state sovereignty after FDR’s state sovereignty-ignoring majority justices got finished with it in Wickard v. Filburn.
