The simple answer is that there are at least two sides. These two sides disagree on how society should be ruled. Neither side is willing to accept the rule of the other.
It is “force”, one idealogy against another.
Because the De.ocrat Party will.accept nothing less than total control. One Prty Rule is its goal. They openly admire Red China.
We can't do anything about the Democrats who ordered it. But I'll bet there is something we can do about the Republicans who enabled it...

We’ve been in a Civil War since the final year of the Obamanation when the Dallas Police assassinations took place and the Deep State Media took the mask off.

The elite in this country have depended on control of the narrative, and through that, control of politicians, for decades.
President Trump is the result of the loss of their ability to control the flow of information in the United States.
No elite in power gives up power easily.
The elite in power in the United States; consisting of the Media, the Democrats, Progressive Republicans and the Deep state, are doing everything they can to keep power. They are getting desperate.
A civil war denotes a conflict between competing political ideologies.
Monarchy versus Democracy
Communism versus Monarchy
Etc....
What we have in this country is a good old fashioned fight between the criminal Democrats and the law and order Republicans.
The Democrat political leaders make their fortunes by looting the public treasuries.
Every couple of years, the Democrat politicians start advertising that they are actually Angels and just want to help poor folks out. They win if they can convince enough suckers to vote for them.
It’s not a civil war.
It’s a fight by criminal Democrats to continue their thievery with no legal repercussions.

But, to be fair, that is a very long excerpt. The only thing he left out was these three paragraphs:

Imagine what a country could do if those were the ideas that young people were being exposed to every day. Imagine if they expected to succeed… if they expected to be treated fairly… if they had gratitude for our freedoms and what others sacrificed to give it to them. Imagine they understood they are living in a time and place most people in history would have traded their souls for and millions of people risk their lives for every year.
Tell young people their lives aren’t theirs, they can’t succeed and racism is everywhere, and they will believe it find it around every corner. Tell them racism and other evils exist, but they live in the land of opportunity and their success is in their hands, and they will succeed despite the roadblocks. Couple that half full on steroid’s mindset with America’s bounty and the opportunities are infinite.
Wouldn’t be much of a war - really, the Marines against the college professors? Not hard to guess how that will turn out,
The author is close, but misses the most important point. The real answer is...
COMMUNISM, Democrats, media and academia…They are following the script and playbook laid out by international Communism 100 years ago.
There isn’t going to be any civil war. The Left absolutely cannot take this country by force. America has to be given away.
I'm going to quibble with this:
Our side says: Leave me alone. If you leave me alone, I will leave you alone.
Their side says: No. I will rule over you. I must control all aspects of your life.
There are two sides, but only one is demanding to rule over the other.
If you tell a lie loud enough and often enough, people BELIEVE it. There never was a nation called Palestine. The Romans renamed Israel that (a corruption of Philistine) as a slam. But that didn’t stop Arafat (an Egyptian) from “creating” one. Today, many if not most believe in a two staye solution for some displaced Jordanians WHO NEVER OWNED THAT LAND. Endless wars because of the lie.

We continue to let lies proliferate and grow until they become FACTS in people’s minds.
