Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

That does sound cute. And congrats on the -000.
Yellacat will be your friend!
Good morning, kitteh fans. There will be no Morning Kitteh tomorrow (Saturday) because I'll be out of town. Kitteh service will resume Sunday.
Good morning. Happy Friday.
Enjoy your time away, T-C. Hopefully it will be fun and relaxing.
We are moving toward higher temperatures for the weekend. I guess it’s time for May to join us. The trees are budding so maybe dog walks in 20 degrees are done for another season.
I had an OK Wordle day. It was surprising considering I forgot and used my old starter word. But since my new starter word wasn’t the winning word, it was a monor mistake.

Yellacat in for the win!
Good morning. I hope you had a good night!
It’s 54° and rain is forecasted for the entire day. I could have slept in. It was so hard to get up when the alarm rang!
No Kitty Sighting last night. The only time I really know he’s here is when he gives out one of his little sneezes. Then he sounds like my text alert, but in another room!
Chuck said he would come over today and replace the light over the kitchen sink, (YAYYYY!!) the toilet seat, (plastic slippy stuff for wood) the light bulb in the overhead in the kitchen and the back porchlight. I think there was something else, but I don’t recall what it was. It may come to me. Or not.
But that won’t happen until 1100. The fact that I don’t have to wash dishes in the dark is a really good thing!
State Envirothon: fun but not relaxing.
I’m sure the kids enjoy it, too, but yes, I can see where it wouldn’t be as much fun for you as for them.
Good luck to your teams!
The bathroom is almost warm enough for me to go shower. Oh, yes, in the Case of the Screaming Shower Head, Chuck showed me how to fix it with a video of replacing the shower head with another. I don’t know if he’ll have a new one with him when he comes, but I hope he does!
The bunnies no longer bother to leave the yard when Tyson-who-is-not-allowed-on-the-furniture goes outside...
Awww-w-w-w-w! Sweet! Maybe Tyson-who-is-not-allowed-on-the-furniture will have new little playmates!
Was it Darks who was out pick up a wild bunneh, stroking and petting it, putting it down and repeating with another bunneh again and again...
...only to look up and see a game warden watching him with mouth agape?
I dunno, but it sounds like something Darks would/could do!
Images of that Peanuts character who kept trying to get Snoopy to hunt rabbits. Snoopy would rather party with them.
Nope.
Hmm, I wonder who it was?

Thanks to all that’s been praying for my Mom; she’s healing well. Structurally, the hip is sound enough to bear her full weight; she needs to grit through a little bit of pain and WORK it so her musculature can get back to bearing her weight, again.
Meanwhile, her stay at post-acute is running out mid-week next week, soooo... she’s gonna have to move, and it can’t be back to where she’s been. So we’re scrambling. Got a new place somewhat lined up but it’ll have to be a 2-stage move because the full-sized room she’d prefer isn’t ready, yet. Just what I wanted later in mid-life: to be a furniture mover. Oh, brudda!

Good morning. Everything went smoothly yesterday. James texted a picture of a rabbit Jake caught. James spritzer it with Bactine and turned it loose and wouldn’t let Jake out again.
Good for James! :Gives James a pat on the back!:
In honor of Chuck coming to fix all the stuff yesterday, I finally tackled the pile of filing that was growing on the floor. I got most of it put away, but formed another, much smaller stack for shredding close to the shredder.
Long about 1400, Chuck sent me a text asking if he could beg off due to a migraine, and me, knowing how awful it is to drive with migraines, told him to go home and we’d plan for another day. It’s just as well because I was getting a migraine, too, just waiting for him.
So I still don’t have a light over my sink, or the toilet seat replaced or the overhead light in the kitchen replaced, or the back porch light replaced... But Monday is another day.
It’s 48° out and we’re looking for a high of 67° but it will be mostly cloudy all day. By Monday we’ll be back up into the 80s again. YAYYY!!
