Watch: AI analysis says US Moon landing images are fake (Google AI)

Neither the United States nor its space agency NASA have so far commented on the AI analysis that questioned the Moon Landing by the American astronauts.

[Google AI anslysis found that the U.S. Moon photos are fake, but thought images captured by Chines lunar rover are fine.]

Moscow: The analysis of some of the photos and images of the U.S. astronauts landing on the Moon using neural networks showed they are fake, Vladimir Putin was told at “Artificial Intelligence World Tour" in Moscow, and the Russian President found it interesting.

The video of the analysis result and conversation of the Russian President with the Data Research Department of Sberbank, Nikolai Gerasimhen, at the Moscow AI event is now viral.

“It (neural networks) thinks almost everything in this photo is fake”, Gerasimhen is heard explaining to Putin in the video shared by the Russian news agency, Sputnik, which is now being widely shared on different social media platforms.

At the same time the AI analysis did not find any fault with the photos captured by Chinese lunar rover.

“Meanwhile it (the AI analysis) raises no particular questions about this photo taken by a Chinese lunar rover”, Putin is told.

China's unmanned lunar mission named Chang’e is a series of lunar probes launched by the China National Space Administration starting with the launch of Chang’e 1 in October 2007.

“It believes this one is fake?” Putin is seen in the video first touching the wing of his nose and then asking after a brief pause while pointing at the Apollo 11 images displayed on a screen.

“Yes. Look this is red", Putin was told.

Sberbank President German Gref who is seen accompanying Putin in the video then said, "This is what Google’s neural network thinks, not our analysis…”

Nixon?

Nah, this was squarely on Congress. The huge budget outlays for NASA were front loaded, in the early or first half of the 1960s. They started cutting back the space earmarks (relatively) early, long before Nixon. It was baked in the cake.

In a way, the inherent problem was linked to the fact that there was a time frame “…before this decade is out” for a successful moon landing and safe return, and consequently the method chosen - lunar orbit rendezvous - was clearly the best toward this goal, but this was a dead end, as far as continuing space or moon bases, exploration etc.

They were announcing layoffs during the Apollo 11 mission, and congress started cancelling missions, 18, 19, and 20 soon after. Even then, the usual suspects in the media successfully implanted the odious mind-virus of zero-sum economics into the public’s mind, as if tax expenditures towards space exploration necessarily meant not spending on “poverty”.

Yes sir. I loved those day. Amazing stuff was being done then.

In the early 1980’s I talked to Los Angeles, CA from downtown Las Cruces, NM on a 2 watt handi talkie, linked into the Cactus Net.

Before Cell phones and before the Internet.

And this was not a government project, technical ham operators (many working for Labs or Military) built it all by themselves. Mountain top to mountain top.

Of course JPL was government equipment.

I was in love with electronics back then, not so much now. It is being used for the wrong reasons and totally ignoring what the citizens want. It is about monitoring and tracking now.

Well, we landed and took off from the moon without a superstructure

Oh, you mean like a Harrier? And the lower part of the LEM stayed there and was a launchpad.

All the nuts have been spamming the internet with their fake photo theories and AI just repeats what is being talked about the most.

“I believe the Van Allen belts won’t allow anything living through without lead radiation protection”

You keep posting this crap in attempt to scare and demoralize the ignorant.

The Van Allen belts are composed of alpha particles, not gamma -which requires shielding. The earth’s atmosphere provides the density to reduce gamma radiation. Outside the atmosphere astronauts are exposed to gamma radiation and the Van Allen belts have no influence on gamma radiation.

It’s just your GRU/KGB program to discredit the West in support of you feudal lords. Beat it serf.

I once read that you’d need a telescope with a 6 mile wide reflector to see the flag. In theory anyway.

How’d the monkey do that we sent through the Van Allen belts? What level of radiation did it survive?

It’s magnetic field deflects ALPHA particles, not gamma rays. It’s the same stuff that CRT monitors project. And a magnet has the same effect upon a CRT monitor’s alpha particles. It repels them because they have an electric charge.

“We” never sent a monkey thru the Van Allen belts. Apollo 8 was the first to send 3 astronauts through it. Nice slander. The only Russians to go thru the belts were dying cosmonauts whose mission planners were too stupid to calculate their rocket’s thrust accurately to achieve orbit.

Where to next on the electromagnetic spectrum? Infrared, ultraviolet, microwaves, radio waves? Oh, and what about light! It can blind people!!! How can astronauts possible still see after being hit by sunlight in the vacuum of space!!? It would burn out their corneas in seconds!!! Only living in a cave or hiding in a hole can protect from sunlight. Work at night, eat potatoes and be thankful of your food plot.

New Mexico has the Megalink now that covers the whole state and some of each of the surrounding states. I haven't been around long enough to know about the Cactus Net, but is it possible the Mega-Link grew from some of that over the years? Obviously things have been updated as time goes by.

electronics has basically turned into disposable item.
I worked in computers starting in 83, back then we fixed things. Computers and printers and such were built to last, made with metal and held together with screws.
I used to go to a ham swap meet every year, I like looking at all the old radio stuff, but it was also a good place to pick up computer parts and such.

**They would have LOVED to catch America in the biggest lie in human history.**

And we know the rocket launches weren’t fake. So if the command/service modules simply orbited the earth for several days, I suspect it would have been tracked by numerous entities.

One thing I know for certain, first hand. Somewhere in the early 60s my friend’s father built a “replica” Friendship7 out of a 50 gallon drum. He fashioned the insides from plywood and drew controls on them. I rolled down a hill in that thing wearing a football helmet. Sorry, I don’t have any pictures.

“…and think they would try to fake that.”

There are a hundred reasons to trust the landing was real, but that reason alone is all you need.

Why would thousands of the smartest scientists on earth throw away their reputations and their legacies by attempting to fool the entire human race for all time - remember they would have to fool all future scientists too.

Crazy people invent crazy stories hoping for their 15 minutes of fame - then when they are exposed as liars they are scorned, mocked and ridiculed. They are foolish enough to do that - because they are crazy. Mentally ill.

Arrogant morons like Al Gore make up hoaxes because they are arrogant morons - they think we’re all stupid.

But real scientists don’t think that way - they are scientists - they know better than anyone the odds of being found out. They care more than anyone about their credibility, their legacy…

It just makes no sense that you could get thousands of scientists to conspire to fake a scientific achievement - a secret they would have to keep for all time.. a secret that once exposed would reveal them all to be lying scum?

That would be like getting the 1000 greatest authors to agree to plagiarize their next novel. Why would they do that?

No way.

Not sure if it is still happening in Downtown Dallas now, but once a month there was a weekend electronics swap fest. Mostly computer and or component related. Dallas had a great electronic surplus store called Tanner’s. They closed, I miss that. They had everything.

My son and I went a number of times. He was a Ham Op too, from time he was 10 years old.

The change you noted, about manufacturing, is intentional. It is not about making a better mouse trap, it is about a money string. Planned obsolescence. They do it in Heating and Air systems, but changing coolants forcing early rebuy, they do it with cars that cannot be repaired (not even by a dealer).

I hate it. I was a builder in the day, that no longer makes sense unless you’re a scrounger. I took 4 monthly ham radio magazines for years and read them cover to cover and studied all the innovations. It was great. I am set up to make PC boards photographically, or prototype. I have a huge junk box and all the equipment, but for the past 20 years I have been caring for sick or elderly family. Lost my father 2 years ago, my brother last years. It is just me and my brother’s son and daughter and his widow. All our farm land is rented out. But I’m still plugging. Have been trying for years to get house at the farm livable again, close but cannot get local excavators to put in the final septic tank replacement.

Oh, and I reload. When I have time. smile.

I have plenty to do. smile.
