Ditto! Mitt was my 5th choice. But he is my choice now! He has wisely left Obama self destruct in June. He has more business expertise than W. His record for financial management is enviable. Support him now or lose the Republic!

Obama tried to bait him with the young illegal Mexicans order. Mitt didn’t take it. Smart move but people on this board won’t admit it.

We have a wishy washy RINO who's for the status quo on one hand and a radical leftwing wannabe despot who is intent upon ripping apart the republic on the other.

Folks, as unappealing as it is the choice is clear.

Romney has a proven track record of being my ideological enemy.

I understand that whole "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" deal, but I see no evidence of Mitt and O being ideological enemies.

More like peas in a pod.

Well the good news is it’s an electoral, not a popular vote.
So huge majorities Baraq runs up in Calif, Ill, and NY don’t really help him.

It all comes down to battleground states which look very close. Ohio, Florida, NC, Va, etc.

Indiana is definitely an R state this year so count that one as flipped from 08.

And some places like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pa seem to be in play due to the Baraqqi Depression.

“Romney is an untested neophyte. If we hold him to a higher standard, he will do great things.”

You must be kidding, CCN. Romney is not a neophyte. We already know what he is capable of, having implemented socialized health care in his home state as a one term governor.

In the ‘08 campaign, it was well known what a nasty, mean spirited guy he is. He and his elistist sons and their friends carried on with a sense of entitlement behind the scenes that alienated all of the other candidates. It’s amazing that Huck is so supportive of him now as he was very vocal about this back then.

As for “We will hold him to a different standard and he will do great things”. Bishop Milquetoast has shown me no indications of future greatness and as for the first part of the sentence, who is “we” and how exactly will we do this holding of Mittens feet to the fire? Romney is going to be a puppet of the RNC, if elected, and they will call the shots out of expected allegiance for their “dragging him across the finish line”.

The RNC has no use for the conservative wing of the GOP and never has.
It IS up to WE THE PEOPLE to uphold the Constitution. But we will get no help from a party that has abandoned us..or from their chosen poster boy.

They are, alas, both neophytes, and both of them are little more than facemen for their respective organizations.

What we need is a real Republican candidate. Just invite the GOP-e to do their third-party thing somewhere else.

Romney is an untested neophyte. If we hold him to a higher standard, he will do great things.

Thanks. I needed a good hearty laugh this morning.

I agree with every word you wrote.

Willard's opponent is busy helping bring on the Caliphate in the middle east who will challenge us one day to our great cost, and is knowingly breaking the country financially to hasten its collapse and resurrection as a purely socialist state. Not even to mention the dramatic and immediate changes to out society he's implementing by fiat.

There is no one in the republican party who comes close to being that destructive.

It heartbreaking to know that voting for Willard is the only response to Obama we have now, but it is the only reasonable response. The threat Obama presents is imminent.

For conservatives the executive order and the lawsuit vs Arizona SB 1070 is about illegal immigration. For Dems it is a identity politics issue to be manipulated for their own political advantage without regard to the destruction illegal immigration leaves in its path.

it is the only reasonable response.

Supporting what you say you hate doesn't coincide with reason. It is actually totally based in fear, and nothing else.

If someone pointed a gun at your head what would you consider a reasonable response?

The reasonable response would be to shoot them.

Using your logic, if Obama wins then you would support Obama because “Romney had his chance and / or flaked out.”

So, Obama energizes his base by granting Amnesty, while Romney demoralizes his base by not opposing Amnesty, smart, very smart.

And win win what?
