Mitt Romney wins much coveted Jimmy Carter endorsement
Gore Praises Romney's 'Climate Protection Plan'
Carville(D):
"It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing.
Romney is an ascendant guy."
Sen. John Kerry (D) to Don Imus on RomneyCARE:
"I like this health care bill".
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D) on RomneyCARE:
"To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."
Outstanding quotes and links.
The reasonable response is fear.
Obama is pointing a gun at my head. I want him to stop.
That is reasonable.
Most people don't realize that there is a 99.99% chance that Mitt will great increase the power of the State over the Individual.
He will instinctively side with the Rats and RINOs to push a Statist agenda.
I despise Obama and all that he stands for. But I have to give him credit for one thing -- unlike Mitt he would never LIE and pretend to run as a Conservative.
The cold reality is that with either Mitt or Obama the end-game is exactly the same, only the timing is different.
Yep. There are about 35 states in which conservatives who dislike Romney can vote for a third party candidate with no qualms whatsoever. I'll be in that category.
If I lived a few miles west in Ohio, there would be a LOT more soul searching on my part.
Romney is the better of two evils.
Unfortunately that’s the choice we’re presented with.
Obviously no one on FR would vote for Baraq.
And nothing says Democrat win like “Clintonian plurality”
Nothing says Democrat win like “Clintonian plurality”
RINO RomneyCARE is NOT a candidate who will get
any conservative’s vote except the deluded, the myopic,
and those already on their knees to the lying backstabber.
So, you might as well fight.
-- Winston Churchill"If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not so costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance for survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no chance of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."
If someone pointed a gun at your head what would you consider a reasonable response?

Thats what I did...
Were you planning to threaten me with a gun in your vain attempt to get me to vote for your pet liberal, Wee Willie Mitty ???
"Yes, if that vote were to be taken today, obviously I would vote for Governor Romney over President Barack Obama - in a heartbeat - I wouldn't blink - because I go back to what I said at the beginning: ANYBODY BUT OBAMA!"
So, so true. Good post.
Suffice it to say that she’s just plain wrong.
The absurdity of that statement illustrates what is wrong with our side, and with the American experiment in general. Strip off the label, and Romney is a liberal Democrat with honors.
You should be spitting nails, and demanding a better nominee - not submitting to the GOP's wholesale betrayal of everything we hold dear.
If you are being humorous, this is good for a chuckle.
If you were serious, consider checking yourself in to the nearest mental health facility.
In 2012 I tried and failed.
In 2016, definitely.
And for November, I have to play the cards I'm dealt.
And that means defeating Baraq at all costs.
It’s like being at the top a a 1000 ft cliff.
You are given two options:
jump
or hang glide
now I don’t know anything about hang gliding, but I’m going to take that option, even if it’s a 10% chance of making it.
there’s a 100% chance that electing Baraq is the wrong choice.
... because she (Sarah Palin) hasn't endorsed YOU for President.
Be sure to get back to me when she does.
Romney isn't 'untested', and he will never do 'great things' in this life, no matter how hard he's pushed by the right. He doesn't have a conservative instinct in his body, and can be relied on to stand on both sides of any issue.
When events have pushed him to act, he has always acted in a manner that forwards the degraded leftist agenda - never our fundamental American ideals. As his record in office proves, he's a liberal Democrat with an R sewn on his sleeve.
Spit!
He isn't whining he is campaigning, although he won't post it up front, this is a campaign thread by a presidential candidate.
